Pappy is the absolute nicest mechanic I have ever taken my car to. His prices are very fair and he goes out of his way to help. I took my 2011 Camaro to him and he put the right spark plugs in for me since someone else sold me the wrong ones. I will go to pappy's in the future for sure. I highly recommend this shop.

Good morning (June 6, 2023) I had the pleasure of meeting and doing business with Pappy yesterday morning while I was traveling through Tucson. My A/C went out while driving through the Palm Desert in California. I knew I needed to replace my suction hose but just needed some freon until I got to Houston. Everyone quoted me ridiculous prices ($100 - $275) just to perform that simple services but Pappy crushed their prices with only $20 for the service and $12 for the freon....What beat that was, Pappy was able to change my suction hose within a matter of hours, which is what I needed to do. I was quoted $375 - $450 and Pappy charged me $150 for labor and gave me the part for his cost , saving me at least $200. When I say amazing, I mean amazing. The air is too cold now and I drove from Tucson to Van Horn Texas (6.5) hours is pure delight. I cannot thank you enough Pappy!!!!!! Kuma

I am so happy with the service at Pappy's Fix It Shop. My vehicle broke down in Tucson, but I live in Phoenix. Pappy's got me back on the road so I could get home. They went above and beyond where most shops would. I am a happy customer who would recommend their services to others.I recommend that you don't judge a book by it's cover(see photos), because the place is not fancy and they are a cash only business, I feel fortunate that I found them.

Its come a long way from being a 3 stall facing west back yard shop when Walt was fresh out of High School and Frank romanced about Citron vehicles, back before the semi crash by many a year. Talk to Walter he knows what your vehicle needs and will work with those on a budget.

If you're in need of a very knowledgeable and reliable mechanic look no further; however, this is not your retail mechanic shop. This is a local mechanic and it's place looks like a mechanic shop, tons of cars and everything else, for some it might even look like a junk yard but let assure you that his work speaks volumes. Very reasonable with pricing his work and it's worth every penny. Walter does amazing work and is very honest, I much rather give my business to this guy than your retail chains. Again, once your get pass the location everything is solid. You have the option to go get your own parts or he will get them for your and actually save your the receipts. I've had my Suburban tune up, my mother-in-law's car had a check engine light and he had that gone in no time.
