I just recently tried Park Forest Auto and I can honestly say I was impressed. Before I get to the good here are a few things I think some would be concerned about. It feels crowded when on the lot but that’s understandable it’s a two stall shop. The owner and his assistant are usually the only ones there for whatever reason so it’s hard to communicate sometimes. Now the good the service was exceptional he noticed things that was effecting the performance of the truck brought it to my attention and fixed it for almost nothing. He was very nice and professional older guy reminded me so much of the type of men that grew up around. With the claustrophobic feeling you feel when on the lot it’s minor in my opinion so PFA 5⭐️’s over here small business owners will always get my support

PFA Repaired my Granddaughters car in a reasonable amount of time. The cost was fair. The owner is a professional master mechanic. He has been in business over 40 years. He is also a Christian man. The staff is great.

Please do not take your vehicle there went there to get both of my oxygen sensors changed they took my new one that I bought and replace it with a old one not even 5 minutes from leaving the place my car was doing the same thing plus I had to get a whole battery because when I went to get my car they were close and my battery was dead

DON'T TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE THEY TAKE PARTS OFF VEHICLES AND PUTS JUNK YARD PARTS ON🚨🚨🚔🚓🚔. Took my truck there for engine replacement and they swapped out my transmission with a junk transmission will be taken legal matters.. they lie straight in your face with no problem sad how you steal from people who trusted you with there property

DO NOT COME HERE. Horrible place. Don’t even see how they are still open. Came here to have AC compressor changed, they “changed it and it only worked for 2 weeks. Brought it back claimed they couldn’t find the leak. Brought my truck to another shop and turns out Park Forest Auto didn’t even replace the compressor. Please save your money and go somewhere else.

This is the worst place to go to so be warned. I ended up getting my transmission repaired here and the next 3 months, it started slipping and gave out. Every time I called to just to talk to someone they would just take my name and tell me they would call back and never do so it legit took 2 months just for them to tell me bring my truck. Once it got there, I tried to get a status on about a time frame for when it’ll be repaired but once again they would just take my number and say they’ll call back but my truck just been sitting there for another month. This place is very disorganized. DO NOT take your vehicle here unless you want problems.

Truck been there a month and the still not finished with it. Had them to rebuild a 4L60E transmission and had problems with it from day one. Will not recommend them.

I needed a mechanic shop that was near in order to tow my vehicle over. The location is a step away on the next street. My son talked with the lady at the front desk and I’ve talked with her twice about the same matter. I was told she’ll send someone over to tow my car.. It’s a week later and no one has not even called me back. I offered to tow it myself but she insisted someone will come by. If they didn’t want to be bothered it was easier to say they’re booked than to have me still waiting. What kind of business is that???????

WARNING!!!! CHOOSE ANOTHER REPAIR SHOP! If you are even considering using this repair shop please take the warning and keep searching. Please don't let the cheap price fool you. You will definitely get what you pay for ,or in my case maybe you won't. If there was a way I could actually award this business with zero stars I would. You would seriously be better of purchasing a 10 speed bike to get you around instead of taking your car to these people to get repaired . These people are one of the biggest auto repair shop scams in the entire city. After being lied to, mislead,and given the runaround for two full months they then finally decided that they were unable to repair my vehicle. That was after they requested that I pay the repair cost in full to have Parts ordered. Even after being told I would have to find another way to repair my vehicle they are still unwilling to return any of the $1,700 I paid them to repair my vehicle. Something seriously needs to be done about this business because as I have now read and witnessed that I am not the first person that they have swindled. And the shop owner cares nothing about customer satisfaction. He only wants the money up front so he can pay back some of the other refunds that he owes to other unsatisfied customers. Even though other places may cost you a little more, it is definitely worth it. Save yourself a headache.These people will do everything in their power to avoid you after you put that deposit down. They even screen their phones calls so they make sure not to answer your calls. Oh and don't waste your time trying to go up there because like I said the shop owner cares nothing about his customers he is all about the money and will avoid you at all cost. Again save yourself a headache.

DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR TO THIS COMPANY!!! It will be the worse mistake you make. Our transmission was out on our car. We got a okay quote, and time for them to start working on it. They proceeded to tell us it would take 5 days and cost 800 for a down payment. And the rest could be paid upon picking the car up. We have called over 30 times in sure to see if the car was ready and everytime we called They said "it'll be ready tomorrow or later today " or " hold on we will call you back." Wich they never did. They gave us multiple excuses why and what they were having to do. Sent my car to another location that they wouldn't disclose information until I got technical . so today they call 6 1/2. WEEKS LATER. And say it was ready to be picked up. We pick it up and automatically it breaks down about 2 miles up the road. With transmission oil flowing like a water faucet out of the car. Also had the same problems when we dropped it off. It looks like they have switched some of our parts. With other parts. And when we dropped the car ofd it wasnt even leaking transmission oil. Also when we drove it everytime we put it in drive the rpm shoots all the way up and it wasn't like that before. They have screwed our car up even more. We called and told them that it was not fixed and worse than when dropped it off. They would not give us a refund. And we are without a car . our only car. We have 3 children. And have had to walk them to school . grocery store. Have missed appointment. My husband has lost his job. This place is a dump.

Didn't want to give one star..had a transmission rebuilt for my husband truck said it take a couple days took longer than they said..installed it and it did not working properly..would not change gears..and they put old parts on the rebuild new transmission...took the vehicle back to the shop for them to correct the problem it took 2days for them to not resolve the transmission issue..$800 down the drain..would not recommend them to anyone..and def not giving them anymore of my business..hope this review helps not waste time or money there..
