10/10 experience. Im a college student not from this area so I was really scared of getting ripped off but Paul was 100% honest and trustworthy. Great place and will come again if I ever need anything else.

Paul is very knowledgeable about common problems with our 1998 Volvo s70. He communicates well thru taking pictures of the problem with our car and sending it thru emails/texts . I love that he does this, it helps me to understand what is exactly going on with my car as we are talking about the repairs needed. Reasonably priced! I highly recommend pauls automotive!

Took the wife's car in for a brake issue (2018 Mazda 3). Resolved brake issue to my satisfaction and at a reasonable price. Other items were listed that seemed more expensive than expected so I elected to perform the work myself. Some examples: Spark plugs (Inline 4 cylinder) : $360.39 Replace mount and balance one tire (had a gash in the sidewall, which I paid the premium for because we are out of state and this is significant safety issue): $310.38 (tire retails for $140 and could be ordered on sale at the time for as low as $120) Air filter: $101.14 In cabin air filter: $134.94 Last two items are nitpicky; most mechanics overcharge for these items, but the first two seem to be priced excessively high. The manager also cited an oil leak, which I had not observed. He stated that the entire engine was covered with oil. Turns out the mechanic had provided a report from a different car and there was no oil leak. It's a big operation so mistakes like this are bound to happen, but it doesn't exactly inspire confidence. Update: Had issues with the brakes again (rear calipers engaging constantly, wore through the pads and damaged the disks over ~4K miles). Took the car back to Paul's to see if he would make this right. He did, free of charge. Revising my rating to a five (from a three) because, while I think he overcharges for some parts, he stands by his work. Price is not my primary concern, I want the work done well and guaranteed if there are issues.

I have been to Paul’s on multiple occasions for an array of various car issues. He is always honest, kind and never pushy. I never feel like they’re trying to take advantage of me and the work gets completed in a timely manner! As a woman, finding a trustworthy auto shop took me many years of trial and error but this is the best in the Baltimore area! They always provide pictures and videos of things which I have never experienced with other places in the past. I recommend Paul’s to all my friends and will continue to go back time after time.

This company wrote up an estimate for my car which would entail me putting over $2000 plus in a used car. I took it to get a second opinion and they found nothing that Paul's said were issues. This company was going to rob me of thousands of dollars to perform work that was not needed or not perform work on my car and get paid. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND A DISHONEST MECHANIC TO ANYONE!!

Great shop! My transmission on my Nissan was acting up while I was on 695, so I pulled off right away and looked for the nearest shop. They took me in, even when they were busy, and got back to me right away. Unfortunately, I needed a new car, but they allowed me to leave my car overnight until I could get a tow truck. Super accommodating and nice! I highly recommend this place.

Took truck in for check engine light and entertainment console issues. Feared major electrical work. Paul and his team quickly diagnosed the engine issue and the separate radio issues, worked with our extended warranty company over the coverages, and completed the work quickly. Truck runs better than it has in a year!!! Thanks Paul’s Automotive!!!

Very nice experience. Took my vehicle in at exactly the appointment time and was done in about 40 minutes. Will definitely be back again. They also appear to be very trustworthy which is a trait that I haven't experienced much especially when making a profit is involved.

Paul's is a great shop with solid mechanics. If he doesn't know about a service related issue he communicates that and does the research to solve it. Both he and the staff are communicative in the process and have a better sense of humor than 99% of automotive professionals I've dealt with. They are fairly priced with no hidden fees or "extra" worked charged. I'll return with my vehicle's needs without hesitation.

Paul is a great guy who knows & delivers exceptional customer service! I brought in 2015 used subaru Outback for a pre-purchase inspection. Got a details report w/images. The vehicle failed 1st MD state inspection due to rusted rotors. I learned that the rusted rotors were never replaced even though it passed the 2nd state inspection!🤔 Hmm...I wonder how that happen??? Obviously, the dealer knows someone and never had it looked at for the 2nd inspection. Probably, just a phone call and a few bucks. Additionally, the new brakes were just slapped on w/o cleaning up the rust, which has damaged the brakes, and they need to be replaced too. There are a few other items to tend too, overall not too bad. I am looking forward to returning to have Paul's Automotive complete the work1👍

A great experience. I decided 2-3 days ago to get my oil changed. Since Paul's is convenient I decided to check them out online. I was prompted to give 2 dates I'd like the service done. In about 10 minutes I got a confirmation for my 1st date choice. I was in and out in ... well certainly under an hour. It was all pleasant enough. Thanks!

Been using Paul for a few years and am always satisfied. He’s honest, fair and efficient. This past week my daughter and I took in her car for service. When we picked up the car I particularly noticed that Paul focused on explaining the service performed to my daughter and not just me. Often service shops focus their attention on the male which is obviously chauvinistic but that was definitely not the case here. In reality my daughter may know more about cars than I but regardless she left there feeling respected and confident her car was fixed appropriately. Thanks Paul and your crew.

I was having emissions problems, brought it into Paul's shop, we sat down and discussed what the problems were and he gave me his honest opinion on what the problems were and what I could be possibly be spending, also suggesting other alternatives, I informed him that I would bring the car in to start the process, so far at looking at his work I am very pleased and will be taking my car back for other repairs. One of the best experiences ever with a mechanic! High level of communication and professionalism! Took my car to a mechanic before Paul and they gave the wrong diagnosis. Paul and his team found the issue ordered the part and did the work in less time then the other shop took to give me the wrong diagnosis. I can't say enough good things about Paul's!!!

One of the only two shops in Baltimore that would even take in my 1987 Toyota 4Runner, and the other shop ignored me. Paul is easy to reach, and knows his stuff. He knew exactly what I wanted done, repair wise, but highlighted some failure points and was very quick with a quote for each repair. I'll be using Paul's Automotive from here on out for any vehicle repairs from now on.

Update: Took my car back to Paul and his team, when the car wouldn't start. They were able to diagnose and fix the problem quickly and inexpensively. I had the car back that afternoon. Their prices are reasonable and I think they are fair & honest. They don't tell you the car needs a host of extra (often unnecessary) services each time you take it in; something I've found to happen too often at other auto shops. I will use Paul's Automotive again!

came from New York to visit family in Maryland... had an issue with my Mercedes my mechanic told me not to drive back to New York to find a mechanic and let him prepare the issue sounds Paul's automotive you want to talk about Service Great staff and job was well done recommend if you have issues with your automobile go to Paul's automotive.. you won't regret it because I didn't,
