Love Pearl Street Garage! I've used them 2x now and both times I've price checked their work against what BMW Denver would charge... it was a little more for the work the first time (by like $20 maybe) and much less for the work the 2nd time. I would so much rather give my business to Pearl Street Garage than BMW of Denver, so they are now my automatic go-to for all of the work needed on our car. I trust that they're always being straight with me, always being honest, and their pricing always feels fair. And if you have to leave your car anywhere for a few hours+, what better neighborhood could you ask to be in??! Very easy to kill a few hours on beautiful South Pearl.

I love these guys! I started taking my vehicle to Leo's Automotive 10 (or more) years ago during the last few years that I drove my 1988 Toyota Tercel 4WD wagon. Now I am back with my 2009 Subaru Forester that has 162,300 miles and, because of wear and tear, needs the tender, loving touch of Leo's Automotive. I have full confidence in Leo's Automotive's integrity and expertise. Leo's is also a AAA Approved Auto Repair Facility. Every AAA Approved Auto Repair Facility undergoes a comprehensive investigation and meets stringent quality standards. I have and will continue to recommend Leo's Automotive to my friends. Update: My Subaru Forester now has 279,000 miles on it, and it is still going strong, thanks to the crew at Pearl Street Garage (formerly Leo’s Automotive). Even though Pearl Street Garage no longer participates in the AAA-Approved Auto Repair Facility program, I will still trust Pearl Street Garage keep my beloved Subie in top condition. 💕

Installed front brakes just weren’t right. I asked them to check them after several months and the shop installed a new pair at no charge to me. I appreciated the shop doing this. This is why I’m a loyal customer.

My car was serviced and winterized last week at the Pearl Street Garage. It went very well. I was kept updated about what needed to be done and why including the need to replace the two front tires.. It was a very good experience and transaction and I will be going back. The Pearl Street staff members are good people to deal with.

I’ve been bringing my car in for a few years. They have earned my trust! I feel safe driving my car after it's been worked on. I won't go anywhere else. To address the other reviews about prices, it’s because of the level of work that they produce and I am happy compensating them for the thoroughness that they provide. My 25-year-old low-mileage car (hasn't yet hit 100K!) has reached a point where it needs more frequent major repairs such as front end work and other wear and tear items. While other shops are nearer to my home, I will always make the extra effort to go to Pearl Street Garage because I trust their competence, integrity, professionalism, and exceptional customer service without question. The entire team unfailingly delivers the best car service in Denver! (This is a repost of a review I wrote 2 years ago. The facts are updated but the enthusiasm remains the same.)

I love recommending this place. I'm not the most knowledgeable on cars and my family lives out of state so I am very nervous about getting scammed or screwed over by mechanics. Pearl Street Garage is so reliable with really nice people, I'm so fortunate to be able to go here. Absolutely 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ They are so kind and helpful. I really appreciated how Jason broke down everything that could be worked on and were very transparent with me on the diagnostics. He called me beforehand to go over it and gave me price breakdown so I was able to decide if I wanted them to go ahead or not.

Highly recommend this shop. As a single woman I'm always hesitant on selecting a garage. These guys and gal are very knowledgeable and I felt as though they were being honest with me on my vehicles needs. They are a bit higher in price than other places I've been to but their professionalism and attention to detail is worth every penny. I will absolutey be returning!

It is disappointing to post this review. I am not sure how long I have been a customer here, but I went here when the garage was Leo's Automotive and then stayed on when the ownership changed. Over the years I have had great service here but the last two visits the work I requested simply did not get done. Not sure if it is a training issue or what occurred for this to happen.

Overall, I had a really great experience! The front desk workers were kind and informative, not to mention they are very quick at getting you what you need. They provided additional options to help me save money. The techs are equally as friendly, and the service was so fast. I will absolutely be back.

This place is really gone downhill since Jason left. The customer service is really lacking , Scott keeps himself away from having to interact with the customer, and it just feels like constant overselling and overcharging from front staff crew

Business is very professional and high quality. I was on a road trip and my car broke down. My crank position sensor and connector were completely severed. Without an appointment in advance, they ordered the parts and got me back on the road within 2 business days. (I'm not from the area so my judgement is not the best with pricing for labor). Seems like you get what you pay for though. If I ever live around here, will definitely come back if I have problems. Thank you guys!

Took my car in to get the suspension checked. Diagnosed the rear struts and sway bar needing to be replaced. Quoted that service at just over $2k. I was in a bind and approved the service. Since then I have found the exact same service at other shops (even a dealership) to be no more than $1200. Complete rip off, I would recommend shopping around if you are able.

What the Hell happened to this place? I’ve literally never written a Google review, and I now feel compelled. This was a family garage for us—kind, caring, even compassionate—but above all else, efficient, knowledgeable, affordable. Is there new management? The sheer incompetence, disregard for timely communication, excuse after excuse, and now inability to complete simple service checks, on top of a recent strut overcharge. If you want mismanaged timelines, shot in the dark assessments of vehicles, lines out the door for drop off and pickup, due to angry customers, or watching your vehicle hastily get it’s oil changed live in front of you in order for the tech to get out of there by 5PM, while other shop owners and techs run around to ditch the joint, when you are sandwiched in between a line of other grumbling patrons, this is your place. Truly a bummer from what was such a trusted source for so long in a local community.

Tried to charge me $1,500 for something that ended up costing me less than $500 to get fixed elsewhere. This is exactly the type of mechanic you were warned about. I wish I could leave less stars.

Great service! It was ready a day earlier than expected, exactly on the estimate, they phoned me as promised. Expert efficient service and very friendly people!
