If I could give 0 stars I would. Took our car in on Wednesday to get worked on. They called before the end of the day saying they have the parts, but it wouldn’t be ready until Sunday. Called Sunday to check on the status and they said they were just starting it. Finally an hour before they close they decide to call us to say they won’t be fixing it now because they don’t want to break something and won’t be able to fix it if they do. Could have told us that Wednesday and not left us without the car for 5 days.

3 years ago I left a 5star review because they did an exceptional job and had fantastic customer service. However , I am sorry to say thats the past. I don't know if it's new management or what but two day ago i was absolutely astounded at how the place has gone down hill. I had my vehicle towed there to have it looked at because it just wouldn't start one afternoon. I gave them the keys and left anticipating a call from them reporting something. Anything. But the call never came . So after I got off work I went in and asked in the progress. I wasc told that they charged the battery and not much progress was made otherwise because the "diagnostic" tech was off until Monday. Jo big del I guess so I left and anticipated a call Monday. The next day was Saturday and at about 9am c they called and said that I wa going to have to come have it towed somewhere else because the tech at the time looked at it and dint eant ti touch it because of aftermarket wiring. Odd I thought because there were a couple sensors that had new pigtails installed and a sound system connected to battery but that's it. When I went to pick my keys up, they couldn't find them so after about 20 minutes I said I'd give them some time to search and come back giving them the benefit of the doubt. An hour and a half layer they called and said they found em . I went in to grab them and meet a tow truck to pick it up. He showed me the spot they found them which didn't make the situation much better or them less foolish and I bid farewell . After having it towed back to my house because the $375 in towing costs kinda hurt and I'd figure id recoup the losses by diagnosing it myself. Which I did. It was a vvt solenoid/camshaft position sensor that failed and needed replacing $70 for the two and about 25 minutes to install. What made me write this review is the fact that when I inspected my vehicle. The power for my stereo had been disconnected, the window left down and the intake from my air filter to the throttle body was dismantled and barely pieced together putting strain on more sensor wires and connections. The real defining act was that they had left the ignition in the ON position and so drained my battery undoing the little bit of work they had actually done as well as wiped the DTC codes that were needed for diagnosis and repair . If I hadn't checked them before taking it there I and any other mechanic would've been screwed trying to figure out where to start and what to repair. Just a lot show that left me disappointed and astounded by the lack of professionalism, aptitude and knowledge displayed by these mediochrel, reject mechanic apprentices, with no pride, customer service skills or short term memory left to not look like lazy, incompetent fools. For shame gentlemen. I wouldn't recommend taking your vehicle there for anything other than tires .... And have a spare key handy just in case.

Absolute A+ service - I called on a Sunday morning and they could work me in. Paul was very helpful, professional and courteous. The work was done at the quoted price - actually less, as Pep has a veterans discount. The work was completed before expected. I will consider Pep in the future for vehicle work

I am a pep boys regular but typically go see Mona over at Montano and coors but have moved and although skeptical I was unbelievably and pleasantly surprised that Paul and his boys matched Mona and her boys energy on point. Paul was absolutely incredible and made what was a stressful and upsetting situation so much easier and far less painless by doing everything they could to get my car taken care of as quickly as possible for a price that was within my budget and I was blown away and will be confident in trusting Paul and his boys with my car for many more years to come. Thanks Paul I appreciate you and everyone that got the job done

Appreciate the free brake inspection but they refused to honor or even acknowledge the existence of a brake service coupon on their website? Totally bizarre and argumentative reaction from whoever helped me when I tried to understand why the discrepancy. Happily taking my brake needs somewhere else that will honor coupons and transparency.

Easy peasy oil change. My oil and my oil filter. They do the labor. A lot of places won't do that, so thanks! And also a full inspection! Great price. Easy to schedule. I made the appointment yesterday and the appointment was today. They are knowledgeable and don't oversell you. Turns out I also needed an air filter and they took care of it. Go to any pep boys near you. This one was juan tabo. Thanks guys!

Excellent customer service, Paul made it very comfortable. Was expecting an hour to hour and a half wait time...these guys had it ready in about 45 minutes, cool, I'm from outta town. Highly recommended, Pep Boys on Juan Tabo !

This pep boys was absolutely amazing they were very very nice and they were able to fix my problem and they helped me understand what was wrong, they also resolved a problem with the other location and helped me take it higher up so it doesn’t happen again! Really outstanding customer service and mechanical work, will be coming back to this location and recommending it as well!

my daughters car took the dive on us and we had it towed overnight to Pep Boys by the next morning and they were already working on it. My daughter had to be to work by noon and lo and behold. They were able to knock it out by 11:30 and my daughter got to her work on time. They were honest, precise, and easy to work with. I would recommend Paul and Oscar to anyone looking to get some car maintenance done soon.

Fast and friendly service. I screwed up my tire by putting fix a flat that caused my car to shake. They knew right away and fixed it by buying a new tire. I was ready to spend up to 1000 buck, but thanks to the guys it was about $150. Thanks 1000, Will definitely go back for service

I have gone to this location twice in the last month to get my flat tires repaired. Each time, John at the front desk was professional and helpful in explaining the issues and what they did to fix the issue. This most recent time I went in, John informed me they weren’t able to repair my tire since it has multiple piece of glass in it, but recommended some different option on what to do to replace the tire. I opted in to have my spare put on and they were able to do that for me at no charge. I’ve enjoyed my experiences at this Pep Boys and will continue doing business with them in the future.

Individuals I worked with here were amazing. I had a blowout and was towed in by AAA. The gentlemen at Pep Boys helped, and calmed my nerves. They recommended lunch at Stufy's, while I wait! Great recommendation. I definitely recommend Pep Boys here on Juan Tabo, their staff is amazing! THANK YOU!

My battery died and was hazardous right in the middle of a very full weekend. Paul and the crew were super helpful! They helped me avoid a rental car (at my expense probably)! I was able to get my car, take my kids to the movie, and perform with my friends this weekend. Rock on Pep Boys!

Do not do service here reason why: 1. Unprofessional- avoided customer service and was a manager giving the service. 2. Did not test drive my car before taking it and tells me it was air pockets when that was not the problem. It was the coolant that was not filled properly. 3. Unprofessional over the phone as to they didnt care to fix the problem when its a radiator flush that i put alot of money into. 4. Had another pep boy location take a look at it and they said theres nothing wrong with it and its just a air pocket. When not true, it was just missing alot of coolant which i paid $61 for and they tell me to go back to the same location i got it done. 5. I put my own coolant which was another 30 and they said they couldnt refund me my coolant that i paid for and was only able to reason $8. 6. Pepboys are the worst to take money from you and tell you its other things to get more money out of you. (Scam) 7. Worst service given and dissapointed in pepboys on central for saying the same thing juan tabo location was saying. 8. They sit on their a** but cant pick up a phone after waiting 20 to 25 minutes for someone to answer about the issue after leaving with my car. 9. All in all better not go to pep boys because they dont know what the hell their doing but take your money. 10. I advice somewhere else because this is my last time going to either under this company.

Great service but….. I got one tire replaced and one of the kids (took 2 technicians to change a tire) that was working on switching the tire, broke the sensor on my vehicle and when I called to ask them how there going to make it right they blamed me and said it was broken before, even though I had no problems until I let them touch the vehicle. It’s costing me more money than I have to get this fixed…. I definitely recommend going to a different location, they were quick to find an excuse of why they couldn’t do there job properly. It seems to me like they cleared the codes knowing I was leaving town.
