I was very surprised by the outstanding customer service and car maintenance I received when I brought my car in recently. I was an early morning walk-in with a bunch of car issues that hit all at once. It seemed like my car was experiencing a mid life crisis! I had felt like my dealership had just price gouged me quite a bit and after calling with no avail, I began looking for help elsewhere. Upon arriving at Pep Boys, they immediately greeted me warmly and asked how they could help. I told them all the check lights that came on, my charging docks went out, my headlight needed replacing, my windshield wiper broke off while driving in the rain, a tire had issues, among other things. I was very concerned about the price and only planned to get the most important one or two things fixed right away. They were able to do a diagnostic and fix all the issues that day for less than the dealership. They also found things the dealership said needed to be replaced were actually just fine and don’t need to be replaced at all. The car seems to have been given a new life. I was very pleased with the maintenance work done on my car and I will go back again.

No communication,lied about a part that was coming in for my truck I mean straight up lied to me long story short I had my truck for 5 days and couldn't do anything had to get my truck towed to another shop terrible 😔

Zero star. Absolutely don’t go over here. Scammer!! I had a horrible experience here. They are raggedy and unprofessional as hell. They said my car was ready for pickup. I paid the service fees of 285$, only to find out that they didn’t do any work on it. I experienced the same after test driving it for less than a mile. Went back and started acting confused and giving me attitude. They are very rude and don’t know a Damm thing about customers service. Don’t waste your time going to this place.

I took my car here last week for my brakes and the job they did was phenomenal. I've had my brakes changed before from another mechanic and the difference was like night and day. My car ran smoothly, no squeakiness from the start. The job was done quickly and I'd recommend them to anyone for their brakes service. (Too bad I don't live close to these guys or they'd be my go-to spot).

Poor customer service. Poor communication. Charged for them holding my car for 24 hrs “trying to find diagnosis”. Did not even call me the next day to let me know the car was ready since they couldn’t find the problem.

Car battery died. So i went to this shop to get a battery. I got there at 8:15ish on a Sunday. I waited an hour before finally getting my car back. When given it back, my total was $250. When i asked why so expensive he told me this was the battery he chose and gave me ZERO options or asked what my budget was. When i said i wasn’t expecting to spend that much and was looking for a battery closer to $100 he said “oh well we had one of those, but it wouldn’t have lasted long so i chose this one instead.” I will never come back here. The wait was ridiculous and i was not happy i was given zero choice when it came to pricing.

I had an unfortunate experience with this pep boys this week. My car was dropped off for one reason and was returned with an new problem that wasn’t there prior. I brought it up to them explaining that this problem is brand new and only occurred after the car was in their possession. The workers were extremely argumentative. They said they had a supervisor look at it, I don’t believe that. They promised to have another mechanic look over the job, they never did. And additionally, they claimed that maybe the part itself was broken. I had a worker come pop the trunk and show me the “broken” part and he actually exclaimed in shock at how new the part looked, confirming that it indeed was not old and broken. So all in all what I’ve gathered is they refuse to fix a problem they have caused. Time and time again I was told to go to “another mechanic” to have it fixed. That tells me they knew they caused the problem because what establishment would pass on an opportunity to do a service for money (if it wasn’t their fault), AND refer you to a competitor. The sliver of good I recieved was a from the initial drop off. There was an older guy working at the front who was more than pleasant. He had amazing customer service when we was there to assist.

The mechanics at Pep boys auto are awesome they took my vehicle in at the last minute with a crankshaft sensor stalled out issue. Their employees pushed my car into their shop fixed it up the next day and had my car running perfectly 👍🏾..

They have the WORST communication when it comes to your vehicle! And then get upset when you just want a status update. Listen, please save your time , money and energy because this company is not worth it.

They will not communicate with you at all. You’ll have to call 15 times to talk to the person you wanna talk to. Not worth the time just go somewhere else.

Went on a Thursday for my 12pm appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. It took about an hour and a half. Service was nice and speedy (from my experience with mechanics, 1.5 hours is quick). Only complaint is the pricing. It was $112 for an oil change and tire rotation, which I think is much even for this economy. Glad I found an online coupon to help with pricing. Make sure you check the website prior. People who work there don’t set these prices, so still a good experience.

Amazing experience today with Marcus the store manager. I showed up at 8:00am and was out by 8:45am…..he made my experience smooth and I left happy ! customer service was a 10 out of 10….. the store super clean , and the work atmosphere was very professional. Thank you from a happy customer 🥰

Had an amazing experience getting new tires here! Antoine (sorry if spelled incorrectly) was very kind and honest, helped me pick out good tires for my car in my budget, and walked through the recommendations for additional services without putting pressure on anything. I left with new tires and paid exactly what I was hoping to, nothing extra nothing hidden. Thank you for your help!

Interesting how I walked into Pep Boys for some help with my hood and battery, talked to a young man, and he immediately looked over to the woman assistant manager in the store. She was polite, efficient and knowledgeable, an amazing woman.

Place is a scam. Tried to tell me my rotors and brakes needed replacing but only back brakes were flawed. It's either incompetence or scammers. Either way you will be charged outrageous prices for something that doesn't need fixing. Please go to another shop.

Went in for an oil change, tire rotation, and alignment check. They tried to SCAM me into buying two front tires. I was told the front tires were “bald” and needed to be replaced, plus an alignment. When I declined the tires and asked only for an alignment he said they could only do it if I replaced the tires. Again, I declined. When I looked at the receipt it showed the front tires had a 7/32 inch tread depth. Also, such an unpleasant experience from the moment you walk in. No one greets you, no one smiles (including the mechanics) and the front desk receptionists are so unfriendly.
