I am currently at Pepboys came for an oil change and the technician did something to my battery because now my car don’t start. I was asked if I had any issues with the battery and I said no. It was perfectly fine while I was driving it to Pepe boys, fine when it was pulled into the shop and after Antonio did my oil change the battery died. The manager TJ is here and all he is doing is saying to jump start my car which will not solve my problem. He is being very nonchalant about it as if that’s all he can do. I had to get my car towed all the way out Nissan just for me to realize that the technician had my car on while doing my oil change which drained my battery. I am 100% sure of this because like i mentioned to the associates at Pep Boys when my car is on it automatically connects to my phone which it did for a while. This is my first and last time coming to pep boys. I am owe a refund for the oil change, tow expense, school pick up expenses for my son and Lyft expenses for my inconvenience and for Pep boys team members lack of accountability, money wasted, time wasted, and lack of integrity! I was treated horribly.

My car battery died and I received a tow to this location. Unfortunately in the time it took me to get here, they had closed. The customer service rep Anton called me "self centered" for asking if there's anything that could be done when I walked in and to "see it from his perspective". I'm sorry my car couldn't break down at a more convenient time for you.

The customer service is amazing. Anthony was so accommodating and helpful. I was in a middle of a road trip and needed to replace a flat tire. Anthony was able to get me in and out quickly with no issues.

These guys are good! I came here for a second opinion on oil change issue and they immediately found the issue. This Pepboys location was able to do what another shop couldn’t do in about 5 mins! They are transparent and even brought me to the garage to show me the issue. Highly recommend! Shoutout to the mechanics and service staff!

Had to get new tires after one of mine got shredded (no idea how). Service was quick and efficient, and the shop tech was friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely get my tires replaced here again.

Service was so so, was told they don’t do state inspections but called and was told they do. Asked to repair a tire and as I post this the tire still needs to be repaired correctly. Had a 10am appointment and was told it was going to be awhile because I was 10 mins late. For a tire repair and alignment the car was finished at 1:40pm.

Tech (white dude) told me my engine was bad due to lack of oil. Just had the oil pan replaced and checked the oil when i picked it up. Had it towed to Acura and it was my muffler loose causing the noise. charged me 50 bucks to tell me a lie. Still driving my car rn.

The Management rude , didn’t listen , blamed the customer, called me a liar. They worked on my radiator, didn’t put antifreeze in my car , I drove it then , car overheated. I checked the radiator there was no antifreeze in the radiator. Motor damage, they said I have to take the car to the dealer to fix it. The store on Hartford rd and Cold Spring

BEWARE of Store 0385 (Harford Rd., Balto, MD) and Mgr Thomas Odonnell (TJ). Took an operating AC in for service/charge; received back a BROKEN AC system (they broke line going into Condenser). Unprofessional and un-accountable. Don't wasted your $$$ !

I am leaving 1 star because I had brought my car in for an APPOINTMENT NOT A WALK IN for 10 AM. They didn’t pull my car into the shop until 12:30. I brought it in for a hole in the tire. They told me it was just the air valve where you put air into your tire and it would cost $20 to repair. At 2 PM they came back and said actually your tire is irreparable and it’ll cost $180 for a new tire. After sitting there for 4 hours waiting for this I said just put the new tire on. They came back and said actually it’ll be $250 we don’t have the other tire in stock. They’re unprofessional, poor time management, lack people skills, and just host a terrible environment for customers. I was polite and patient through the entire experience even though it consisted of me getting to the location at 9:40 AM AND LEAVING AROUND 3:45/4 PM. Roughly 6 hours of my off day sitting around for them to take it from a $20 repair to a $250 tire which should’ve been a quick in and out. They also charged me for a 90 day alignment guarantee without my consent. This is easily one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had taking my car into a shop for help. Would’ve cost me less for a car jack, T bar, and tire to just handle it myself.

I was please with my waiting time for the break lights to get fixed. The guy was respectful and friendly. 7/22/24 I'm please with my service today. I went to get my slow leak fix. They have to replace my tire, the size tire wasn't at Harford Road shop. So Montion Anthony (Anton) went to the Towson shop to get a tire. That was so awesome for him to do. I appreciate all of the services I received today.

Wanted to get my headlight bulb replaced and TJ told me it would be damn near $150 just for one headlight so I told him I would bring the car back .I called Firestone and was quoted a very lesser price and they also changed my daytime running light that was blown to for for a total of $66!!!!!MAJOR DIFFERENCE!!Pep Boys are ripping people off big time and I will NEVER GO BACK !!!

Whent to have flat fixed they put new tires oon tesla ….then air still coming out … took it back … now they find a cracked rim ….( just so u know the time for this was …. unexcusable

No problem at all... Nice and easy experience. Bring in the car. They examine. Curtesy extras and pick up the next day. They made room for me.
