Went to this location twice. Once for new tires and another when one of the tires was pictured by a nail. Both times they got me in an out quicker than promised with friendly thorough service.

I brought my car in yesterday... for one they accommodated me in regards to timing but luckily i made it at a decent time. Gave me an HONEST brake inspection, got my quote and grabbed the parts (very reasonable) my rear brakes AND rotors was done in under an hour and staff stayed longer to get me done in order to pass my MSI!! I will be back, thank you again pepboys!!

They were super nice and service was very good. I took away 1 star because of the way they threw my spare tire in my trunk. The other pep boys I went to gave me the courtesy of putting it back under the trunk cover where it belonged.

I went to Pep boys for the first time ever yesterday I went to one on route 40 I was greeted with a warm smile from Pat. She was polite, friendly and knowledgeable. I was told when it will be ready it was ready 20 minutes before which was great! I will be back to do more business with Pep boys! Tires are affordable and extensive choices definitely recommended this team!!

Went in for a brake job. Had to get two rotors calipers and brakes. Had me done in a day. Truck stops a lot smoother now

I booked my appointment online, which was super easy to do. My wife is the one who drove the car to the appointment and she showed up early. They were able to fit her in immediately, making it so much easier to get the work done. They were all VERY polite and even waited for her to finish a phone call before speaking to her about another recommended service. Our end price was lower than the original quote so we added the additional service on anyway!

I have been going to this pep boys on and off for years. I came in for an appointment today / was going to wait. I was told that they are only taking drop off and they didn't know when they would have my car ready for an oil change. I had a 9 am appointment and they said they might can have my car ready by 2. Or i could leave and call back to see if they could squeeze me in.The man spoke with said he called and left a voicemail stating that they were overbooked ,which wasn't true. I even spoke to someone at this location yesterday night to confirm my appt today at 9am and that I would be waiting. The two stars is not for the work on my car. I have never had bad service but the communication could have been better. Just for a waste of time.

I really don’t know where to start with this review, but my experience was absolutely amazing. Working with the manager. He was very knowledgeable. And very helpful Anything I brought up about my vehicle he had an answer for me I purchased Four tires for my vehicle at an amazing price during the Black Friday sale buy to get to. He was very knowledgeable and quick with his response to the point where I felt really comfortable with him so I purchase more tires for my wife vehicle the same deal by to get to. him and his team was just absolutely amazing. I’ve been riding past this Pep Boys for years. and have never gotten service from this location, but him and his team was absolutely amazing. I would definitely do business with him again.

Jessica got mad with the customer and she was very rude. I usually go to Pep Boys in Laurel and they are always friendly. Today I went to Castonville location, and Jessica doesn’t want to listen the customers.

Scheduled an appointment for an alignment, was an hour late and they already had cars so I was willing to wait for a bit. Then when Kris asked why I needed an alignment, I misspoke and said my wheels were shaking at high speed but actually not, just my wheels not aligning. He then said I need to leave the car for the day and wanted to charge extra for a suspension check even though I only selected tire rotation and alignment on the website, I did not want to leave my car for the day and have them look at it and then make some stuff up saying something’s wrong with my car and they need to do a bunch of things to it like they did two other times. I had a honest local auto shop looked my car two days prior and they said there was nothing wrong with it besides it needing an alignment, and did not charge me. They don’t have equipment to do alignments otherwise I would’ve gone to them. I understand I was late so I was willing to wait for an alignment & tire rotation ONLY but to say I need additional service and have to leave my car for the whole day as if people don’t have things to do is extremely frustrating, then REFUSES to do said service even without charging for additional things I did not ask for and without even actually looking at the car first. Didn’t even bother arguing with him because from prior interactions, dude tries to be overassertive to people and making them feel like they’re stupid as if they aren’t being scammed with these overpriced services & talked down into getting unnecessary things done. I’m not questioning his expertise, but the way he interacts with people, it feels like he thinks that they are stupid and don’t know how these big auto shops are always trying to make a buck when I already had another mechanic checked beforehand. It’s extremely annoying and frustrating trying to request a service and to be refused and saying I can reschedule, now I have to look for another place. I get customers can be frustrating and bothersome and argumentative, but I hope he can learn not to talk to everyone that way and try to do what people are asking instead of talking down to them saying they need to pay for additional services.

I arrived at the service desk as scheduled and was given a time to wait for completion. I purchased 4 new tires to be installed and balanced. The technician gave me options as to replace the sensors while I have the tires taken out. I declined since it will add another $250 to my already $700 purchased. He finished the job right on time and I was out the door like I was promised. The thing that need to improve is the waiting area.

I had one of my sensors that work with the TPMS system for my vehicle if I would have went to the dealer it would have cost me over $300 to repair it so I called around and I found a few other places but the cheapest place was Pep Boys the part at the dealer was $95 the part at Pep Boys was $59 with labor the total price at Pep Boys was $ 119 and some change and that included a discount for being a first responder the repairs to my vehicle was completed in a timely fashion the service manager was polite spoke clearly when explaining the cost for the service and the details of the service it's been a while since I went to Pep Boys for tires or service but I am rethinking going back to them and the future

I've been to a lot of PEP Boys locations in the DMV area & honestly most of them aren't that good. I have one closer to my house than the location on Rte. 40 in Catonsville, MD but I rather drive further for great service. Kris & Geoffrey are great. I first went to this location they run in Dec 23' & have & will continue to go there as long as they are working there & running things.

Went in today to get 2 tires done, after telling me they could do it, I waited a hour to find out they didn’t have my tires in stock. so leaving a 1 star review for lack of awareness in a timely manner. (Workers were nice)

Wow! Talk about caring for customers. This Pep Boy location really goes above and beyond. To say I'm impressed is an understatement. They explain things in detail and even stayed past closing to ensure our needs were met. Sheduleing was a breeze and Geoffrey Miller had a great personality. Just Wow!!! definitely recommend this location! 6 stars if I could have
