The Store Manager Evan was efficient and friendly. They spotted an issue with a sensor that two mechanics prior to had not. They went above and beyond in assisting me with understanding some of the signs on my dashboard as well. I would highly recommend them. My tires were reasonably priced and installed timely. My vehicle now is a smooth ride.

Make sure they do what you ask and pay for. Check your receipts because upper management will be of no assistance if you have any concerns. UPDATE Their response to contact them, which I already did I stated upper management.

We were very pleased with Pep Boys during our need for a vehicle to be MD inspected they passed it which they should of because there was nothing wrong with it. We had taken it to another shop who marked so many things and said it would be thousands of dollars. We did do some work before taking it to Pep Boys but a shop who is not honest can make up things to be fixed. We are very happy and will return in the future.

The receptionist was working alone, but she was very knowledgeable in every question that I had. She explained the process clearly and kept me informed of any changes that would be made to my bottom line. I did not feel like I was being taken advantage of in the change to my bottom line.

DO NOT TRUST THIS LOCATION OR REALLY PEP BOYS IN GENERAL ANYMORE THEY'RE NOT TRUSTWORTHY NOT WORTH THE COST/PREDATORY BEHAVIOR! NOT AT ALL GO SOMEWHERE THAT'S HONEST LIKE JIFFY LUBE WHEN YOUR TRYING TO SAVE SOME MONEY ON CAR MAINTENANCE SERVICES! So I'm delivering with Grubhub using CarAdvise Pep Boys advertises the conventional oil change at around $32 when you show up... They suddenly don't have the oil and you have to get a full synthetic for $70!?!? When I questioned the price jump, all they say is they "Don't have the conventional motor oil I need". No one asked me if it was okay to over DOUBLE the cost! HOW AM I RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR BEING UNPREPARED FOR THE SERVICE I SCHEDULED?!? AND JUST GOING TO BLINDSIDE ME WITH THE COST AT THE END OF SERVICE?!?! I really think it's BAD BUSINESS to make the CUSTOMER (WITHOUT asking if it's okay) be RESPONSIBLE for covering the "EXTRA COSTS" BECAUSE Pep Boys is out of the oil needed for the CONVENTIONAL OIL CHANGE SERVICE I SCHEDULED. I just sat here and watched them look in the computer and switch it to synthetic FORCED UP CHARGING IS PREDATORY BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE! AND TRAPPING PEOPLE WITH TRICKERY IS ALSO UNACCEPTABLE! But again NO HELP/EXPLANATION OF WHY THEY THOUGHT OVER DOUBLING THE AGREED UPON PRICE WAS APPROPRIATE when I went up to the desk and asked them about the price doubling! JUST "Oh well, THIS is what we have" I know I won't be back. Transparency, TRUST, communication, and not bamboozling customers is important. If Pep Boys can't do that then I will not be spending any more money with them EVER AGAIN. I'm stuck here now and hopefully I don't get subpar service! Especially since I'm spending double what I was supposed to for the service. When they go out of business they can't blame anyone but themselves. Pep Boys, especially being a corporate chain get ready for the BBB reviews. I'm DEFINITELY 100% going to be saying something about THIS! NOTHING HAPPENING TODAY IS ACCEPTABLE. Plus I'm 30 minutes past when my service was supposed to be started and they're still playing games as if they've given me some sort of discount using my fleet card when they already forced an upgrade for synthetic and are making me cover the cost for what they don't have rather than just canceling the service that was prescheduled as a conventional oil change. Almost 4hrs For an oil change while I'm sitting in the building waiting and my appointment was scheduled, not walk in. Completely unacceptable. First they robbed me. Now they're holding me hostage LITERALLY!

I called Pep Boys to schedule for oil change. I was told there is 20% off coupon. I asked the guy at service center about the 20% off. He said, you can down load it on your phone when you pick our car up. When, I picked my car up. I showed the guy the coupon on my phone. He scanned it twice and said, I'm sorry you wanted Mobil 1 for your oil change. This 20% off is for Pennzoil oil only. He wouldn't give me the discount at all. After spending 164.00. He said, you wanted Mobile 1 and I don't tell people what oil to get. I always take my car to Pep Boys on Merritt Blvd MD. The girl that schedule the appointment should of told me stating I was getting 20 % off for oil change. The guy at the store had no knowledge at all about what sales they have on oil changes. When it comes to customers saving money that's what sales !!!!

I came in hoping just to plug a tire that got screwed - left with 2 new tires and a battery after ALL of my questions were answered, and confidence that I'd be safer driving going forward. WENT TO HAVE MY BRAKES CHECKED. AFTER 70,000 MILES THEY NEEDED CHECK. THIS WAS MY 2nd OPINION THE DEALERSHIP SAID I WAS DO FOR NEW BRAKES. BUT PEPBOYS SAID I HAD ANOTHER 6,000 TO 7,000 MILES LEFT ON THEM. THANKS FOR NOT SAYING THEY NEEDED REPLACED WHEN IN FACT THEY DIDN'T.

Charged me twice the amount as the Pep Boys in Glen Burnie and didn’t give me the price till after the work was done. Definitely polite and worked quickly but that price wasn’t right.

Horrible service, lost me as a customer. Gave my keys to another customer had to wait to get them back. Don't ever use the Marlton store on rt 70! Refuse to give me lifetime balancing on my installed tires even though I paid $100 dollars for balancing! Always had it before.

I went to the Marlton Pep Boys at 8pm tonight. My tire was losing air and I have an important doctor appointment in Philadelphia tomorrow at 730am. Alden the Assistant Manager and Colton the mechanic stayed 30 minutes late to fix my tire. Thank you so much for caring. Great employees! I will be back.

You need to find a way to keep her happy and get her to stay or you will lose alot of business. You should have found a way to keep her on board....shame on pep boys after all these years of service..

Took vehicle in at 1230pm had 4 new tires balanced and installed, wheel Alignment, replaced brakes on all 4 wheels and air filter replacement done for a fair price and got the vehicle back at 245pm and it’s running great!!! THANKS GUYS AT PEP BOYS, “GREAT JOB”!!!

service was not done as asked. was told they could not do rack and pinion due to bolt being "rusted." when I retrieved the vehicle I took both bolts of with a small hand wrench no heat. before doing flush on liquids I asked the service tech to check into throttle issue before starting any services they did not. then when I went to pick up my truck, tech had no idea about my truck could give me no answers or insight on anything serviced. if you would like a McDonalds employee to work on your vehicle I highly recommend this store, if you want an actual mechanic that knows vehicles and how to work on them go somewhere else. Most recently I have been back since unfortunately for me I was charged 1200 for a tune up that was not done. Truck was still misfiring so I pulled out the plugs to check them and they were the same ones that have been in for years rusted and dirty. Oil was not changed same oil filter that's as far as I could be sure of they did refund for the plugs and oil.... The guy who had "done the work" quit two days later. But would not recommend this place to touch anyone's vehicle untrustworthy and just not a real shop.
