I’ve been taking my vehicles to the Hwy 280 location for years. The guys there have always done me right. Doesn’t matter if it’s Derek, Elger, Marcus, or Len. Always shoot me straight. Always do a great job. Never try to do more than is needed.

Great place prices are kinda high, but there’s always coupons to offset the price. Stan was fantastic Great customer service skills and Derek is always so easy to work with Well, the customer service law makes you want to come back! The only reason why I didn’t give a five stars because I rarely give them out!

We made reservations for an oil change at 11:30 becausewe were goingtowait. . At 1pm we decided to see what was happening. It was only then that they said they were done. I am not happy with the wait or their lack of concern for it

Woke up this morning to a flat tire. Eldger was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Had a new tire within 20 minutes and left with way more knowledge on tires than i came with.

A full synthetic oil change using 5w-30 oil should be $60 however this place will charge you $92.47 after promising that 2 promotions could be applied to reduce the cost.(Pennzoil promotion)When you challenge the final cost, they revert back in what their initial statement was. In addition to that, I was told that even though I made an appointment online, I still need to call to make sure they can fit me in. That is not what the word appointment means at all. I ended up spending 1 hour and 45 mins here for a very overpriced OIL CHANGE and “free” tire rotation. DO NOT COME HERE.

Do not get your oil changed here. I was charged over 90 dollars for a oil change that was 60 the last time I was there. I will not use these people again. This was at the 280 location in bham al. Over priced.

Don’t go here if you need your A/C fixed. I brought my car in three time to get the A/C fixed. The first time they installed a new condenser and charged over $1000 for parts and labor when other, more skilled mechanics offer lower prices than that. On the second visit, my A/C was still not working and they replace a switch on it for around $120 for only the part. Yet again, I come in with the A/C not working for a third time. This time, I am told that they need to replace the compressor and that it will be around $1300 parts AND labor. After refusing this and taking my car to a better mechanic, they found that the condenser that was previously installed was busted open on the bottom. These people are hacks. Do not trust them with your vehicle. Also, on the third visit, they left my car in one of the handicap parking spots as a little joke because they don’t like receiving push back when trying to scam people.

Pep Boys located on 280 just past 119 is almost a hidden place with all the stores and tech located down 280 but I’ve had another chance to use them just last week and they didn’t disappoint. These guys are fast, efficient , (just plain experienced) and polite. They care - CARE - about the jobs they do and provide clear communication with the owner. Someone there - whoever runs the place - is in good charge of good guys that do good fast work and make sure they don’t do more than needs to be done. 2 thumbs up! Way up!

Wonderful people work here!! They are truly there to help you and do not try to overcharge. They do amazing work, I got my tires rotated prior to a long trip and I cannot say enough about what a pleasant experience I had!!
