I have been a Pep Boys customer since 1995/96 and trusted you with 8 or 9 of my vehicles in that time frame. NEVER have I experienced service like I have the past two weeks. To make a long story short I took my Challenger in for an oil change (you can see where oil was spilled over the engine cover)(I have pictures) and brake INSPECTION. The service coordinator recommended front rotors and pads which I scheduled for the next day. Both appointments were much longer than expected. The car was not started on either of the days at the time it was scheduled. My last visit was almost 5 hours long. There was confusion whether the brake fluid drain and refill was accomplished. The brake filler reservoir cover was left off and found on the front valance of the engine compartment ( I have pictures). When I got the car home there was a heavy metal smell, the front wheels were hot and the rotors were so hot they were a bluish color. I was told on the 4+ hour "visit" that the calipers were shot. However they were not diagnosed as being at issue during the brake inspection the first visit, or after installing the new rotors/pads the second. I was presented an estimate of $700 for the caliper work. Although I think your work (excessive rotor heat) has caused the caliper defect your shop denies it. I would like the calipers replaced for free. I would like an appointment that is kept and not have to hang around for another 4 hours. On the 23rd I called to express my concerns and was told a district manager would call me today as my car is sitting in my driveway. No one has called. I will be posting this on social media.... I'm done!!!!

I was able to book an appointment on Saturday and was able to find an appointment the very next day. The service was fast and I heard feedback that my break service was reasonably priced. I highly recommend if you are looking for fast and efficent service.

This was a horrible experience. I will never work with this company again. My husband came to drop off my car at the appointment time. Not only were they late about servicing him so he can drop the car off, they told him a 2 and a half hour wait to replace 2 tires. By the time 3 hours passed NO ONE called nor answered the phone. We called for over 40 minutes and just decided to go up there. The car was ready and no one said anything. I will NEVER have my car serviced here again.

Came in for two tires on a Sunday. He was quoted 353 over the phone and when they cashed me out the total was almost $90 more. When I questioned it, I was told that the pricing may not have been accurate that I was told in the first place, which is a line of crap. After they finished with my tires, I hung around for about 30 to 40 minutes talking to the manager about random other things. I went to wash my car today and noticed that they lost one of my valve stem caps which work custom and didn’t bother saying anything. They just decided to stick some other random valve, stem cap on there and not tell me. When I called him and asked him about it, he knew exactly what I was talking about and said it was on top of their tire machine. So if you knew that you lost it why would you not tell me when I was there? Talk about not having integrity at all! When I went to pick it up, the guy acted like it wasn’t a big deal and I shouldn’t be upset about it. I can tell you this, I will never be returning to Pep Boys again. This is not the first time that they have screwed up , the work they’ve done for me. I have four vehicles that I maintain in my family and I have four vehicles that I maintain at my job. They will never be going to Pep Boys again this year lack of respect and the dishonesty with this whole situation is sickening . Not only that but the disrespectful attitude and The didn’t really give a care way that the guy came across when I went to pick it up is definitely not good service. You guys need to do better training your people on how to handle situations and how to be honest with customers. Had they came out to me and said hey, we lost one of your valve stem caps. I would’ve been so appreciative that they came and told me and would’ve given them a five star review instead of the two stars that they’re getting. The only reason I’m giving them to is because they actually did a good job putting my tires on and they were quick about it. But having good quality customer service from honest employees goes a long way. The lack of this location having those things has turned me away from Pep Boys altogether. Edit: went to get two new tires from Discount Tire today, about 9 months after going to Pep Boys. They examined the tires I got from Pep Boys and showed me the date of the tires they installed were from February of 2016, so over 7 years old! NEVER EVER GOING TO ANY PEP BOYS OR RECOMMENDING THEM TO ANYONE EVER! HOW UNSAFE!!!

Terrible service all around. Leave a car there to get new brakes, don’t expect it done same day or even the next day at all and that’s with an appointment. Not to mention they messed up the brakes the first time around. Stick with family owned mechanics because they obviously have no idea what their doing

After dropping my vehicle off at 8am the previous morning (Saturday) my car was not brough in as of 12 noon. They were very slow that morning so I expect my car to be done or at least started getting worked on by noon Saturday. When I called to check it was not so no big deal I went and picked it up as I had something to do with the car. The tech (Mark) who is also the manager I was later told said to drop in back off later Saturday afternoon . Which I did approximately 3:30PM. He said they would start working on it but wouldn't be done as it was close to closing and to leave it overnight. Which I did. Sunday morning rolls around and I expected to get a notification that my vehicle was ready no later than 10 am maybe even 11AM. I waited and waited to no end so I finally called the store about 2PM and the Tech (Cal) said "oh we're going to bring the car in for service now. To which I was furious. I asked why and he said the paperwork was just sitting there they must have forgotten it. He then said to give them a 1.5 hours and they will have the car ready. Now you would think after wait for over 24 hrs. to get some breaks change I would be compensated. As I told Cal you guys have cost me a lot of money today for the delay of my vehicle. He just said he could not give me any discounts. This will be the last time my wife and I use Pep Boys service and I will make sure everyone in my community knows how they treat customers that have spent thousands of hard earn dollars over the years. You will never get my or my family business again.

I had a pleasant experience at this Pep Boy location. First off I wanted to say the customer service was phenomenal. Mark was VERY nice and helpful. The technician who worked on my car did his thing too! Mark made me feel very comfortable with the whole process about my car. He told me my car would be ready at the end of the day which it was. He also called me to tell me about my car like he said as well. Something was wrong with my brakes and I decided to get a whole car inspection as well but they found no other issues. I also got $50 off with the brake service coupon. I WILL definitely return to this location!

I was disappointed with the overall service at this location. I left my car overnight and placed my work order in the lockbox. No one bothered to check the lock box for repair orders. I called to ask about the status of my work order. I was told that no one bothered to check the lock box for repair work orders. Management told me that I would have to wait an additional 24 hours to get my car repaired. I was charged $75.00 to replace a $12.00 low beam headlight! The charges are unacceptable and unreasonable. If i had been advised prior to the installation of the headlight I would have declined to have the installation done.

My daughter drove into town during tropical storm Debby and her windshield wipers broke off the frame. Kai took my call, confirmed they had what I needed and even installed them in the rain. Great experience!

Finally, a chain auto repair shop I can trust! Mark is OUTSTANDING at ensuring your car is road-ready and safe. He even pulls Car Fax reports if they haven't seen your car. He is honest about what needs to be (and what doesn't) and thoroughly explains the necessary repairs. I won't take our cars anywhere else. Great team at this Pep Boys!

I brought my car here to get a routine oil change and I had an appointment. After waiting 6 hours I was finally able to get my car back, flash forward a couple weeks and my car stalls out on the road and has engine damage because the oil was old and low! I bring my car back to this location and they admitted to not completing the oil change! The on staff management said they would get me in contact with corporate to help me with the damage they caused but it’s been months and I still haven’t heard back. Moral of the story do not go here, they will mess up your engine and do nothing to fix it!!!

I was able to get same-day service for new tires & an oil change, which meant a lot to me because I was able to make a last-minute, 500-mile trip to see my mom, who’d had a heart attack. The technicians were very nice and thorough and did a great job checking my car to make sure it would be safe for the trip. (I have an old, 2009 Volvo with almost 200k miles in it.) They even tried to help me find a phone charger because I’d accidentally left mine at home. Super nice folks.

Mark is the man! I brought my wife’s car in due to the air malfunctioning. They fixed it same day. Another component of the A/C messed up and he was able to figure it out what it was and get it fixed quickly. The work was not cheap but I know if any issues come up Pep Boys will help!
