11 employees 3 cars in shop including mine, and I've been here for 3 hours for 4 New tires.. Customer service is good. But vehicle service time is terrible. They told me that it would take an hour and a half and again 3 hours.. 1st and last time I will be coming here. And definitely not recommending to anyone.. And all the time here, not even a drop of water was offered...

I scheduled an appointment in the morning. Drove over to get my oil changed and tires rotated later that day. When i got there they said sorry we dont can’t accept same day appointments…. would have been nice to know maybe before or even after i scheduled the appointment.

Pablo and his team denied us service saying they’re not taking any more customers and it’s about 4pm and the establishment doesn’t close until 6pm. Very Unprofessional. Clearly by the photo they had room and time to take in new customers.

Extremely professional. Top notch trustworthiness too! I took one car in last week for an oil change and got exactly that. They also suggested a few things in the upcoming days and or months, but never tried to upsell me on anything. I’m back here today, dropping my second car off and if you need to get your oil changed, tires checked in a city where there are so many options and you don’t know who you’re dealing with? I would go to Gilbert and Company here! Quite possibly the coolest shop that I’ve ever been to. -Molly

I arrived at Pep Boys for my 8:00 appointment. During the “inspection,” the technician insisted I replace all four tires without even taking measurements. I only needed my left rear tire replaced, and I had tread measurements to prove it—all other tires measured at 8”, except the left rear. This was clearly an attempt to upsell unnecessary services. As a young female, I am aware of the tendency to be taken advantage of at auto shops, which is why I came prepared. The technician seemed dismissive when I challenged his recommendations, which made the entire experience even more frustrating. Despite scheduling this appointment in advance and specifying the tire I needed, it wasn’t in stock, and I was told it would arrive by 3:00 PM, pushing my car’s pick-up time to 5:00 PM. While my car was at the shop, I received multiple notifications indicating that my car had been opened and left unlocked—even before the replacement tire arrived. This was extremely concerning. Upon arrival, I found my car parked outside with the windows down on a busy street. To make matters worse, they then informed me that they had mounted the wrong tire, requiring additional work. The whole ordeal cost me significant time and stress, and I never received any sort of apology or attempt to make it right. Ultimately, I cannot recommend this location. It seems like they prioritize upselling over genuinely assisting customers and don’t take basic security precautions seriously. If you need work done, I suggest looking elsewhere to avoid this level of carelessness and unprofessionalism.

I brought my flat tire to the shop. They were very busy and were able to fix my tire quickly. Enriquez gave me a ride back to my car in his personal vehicle and put my tire on for me! This employee went WAY above what I was expecting and really impressed me with his knowledge and professionalism. Thank you! 5 stars

I had a terrible experience with Pep Boys. After getting my car towed in for a battery issue, they advised me to replace both the main and auxiliary batteries at prices much higher than other shops. After the repairs, new problems immediately surfaced—warning lights I had never seen before, including the Check Engine Light, ABS Sensor Warning Light, and Traction or Stability Control Light. I was told by their mechanic that these issues would reset on their own, but they didn’t. Pep Boys then instructed me to take my car to the dealership and promised they would reimburse me for the repairs caused by the new issues that arose after they handled my car. However, despite this promise, they have failed to follow through with the reimbursement. Their communication has been inconsistent, and instead of resolving the problems their service caused, this experience has been nothing but stressful and disappointing.

I had a terrible experience with this shop. I left my car for a flat tire and another tire issue, and they initially told me they’d fix it by the end of the afternoon. By 6:30 pm, I called them since they were closing at 7, only to get an automated message saying they had already closed. They called me back a few minutes later to inform me I needed a new tire, which wouldn’t arrive until the next day, meaning my car had to stay overnight. I agreed and was told it would be ready by 9:30 am the next morning. However, by 10:30 am the next day, I still hadn’t heard from them. When I called, they said they were aligning the tires and it would be ready in 30 minutes. I showed up at 11:30, and my car was still not ready. They were scrambling to check the mileage, and I ended up waiting in the store for another 15 minutes. What’s worse, I asked for an electronic receipt for the new tire, gave them my email, and never received it. Now I’m left wondering if they even replaced the tire at all. It’s absurd that it took over 24 hours to fix a simple flat tire and change another one. I would not recommend this place to anyone. They’re unprofessional, disorganized, and their lack of transparency makes me question their honesty. Save yourself the headache and take your car elsewhere. Update: Despite multiple follow-ups via email and contacting customer service, I still have not received the receipt. The customer service email provided in their response redirected me back to the store, which has not answered my initial requests. It seems that they are refusing to give me the receipt, making me question whether the services I was charged for were even performed. This lack of transparency and accountability is completely unacceptable.

So many issues without reasonable recourse. This was the most expensive oil change I’ve ever had. They did not put my air valve covers back on my tires, so I had to go back. They lost my wheel lock so when I went somewhere else to get new tires for a much better price, my wheel lock was nowhere to be found. In order to get a new wheel lock, I have to go all the way up to the dealership during business hours, match the wheel lock, order the part, wait for part arrival, then go back to pep Boys to attempt to get a reimbursement which I’m told it’s going to take three weeks to receive. They say they can only reimburse me for the new wheel lock, and will not compensate me for how much work I have to put in to getting this replacement. Then I have to go back to Costco to get my tires put on. This was a horrible experience, I will never go back to pep boys. With these anti-customer-centric actions and blatant negligence, I don’t know how they stay in business. I will consider taking this review down if they make it right.

This Pepboys is Amazing. Me and my husband came in from out of town and we got a flat. We came in right before they closed and they were able to squeeze us in. Anthony was so helpful and kind. They even informed us that we were low on oil and coolent so he filled it up for us so we can get home. Highly recommend this location!!

While on vacation, our tire started leaking slowly. After having to air it up a few times, but while also on a tight schedule, we called Pep Boys and Anthony was able to squeeze us in on short notice. Within minutes of arriving, he had our car on the lift and found our issue - a drill bit! Not only was everyone incredibly friendly, they had us back on the road within 30 minutes. Thank you guys for your help!

Great experience here today getting new tires!! The Kumho tires are not only top quality but care was also taken with installation, they even cleaned out built up dirt in the wheels and remembered the valve stem caps. Also, I had them change the serpentine belt as it was worn. Just after I drove off, the car began to overheat due to a radiator issue. Even though they were about to close, they had me drive back to check it, added coolant and let me drive around to be sure it was stable. While I’ll plan a visit to our regular mechanic to resolve the radiator issues, I’ll return to this Pep Boys for tires and other work. Shoutout to David and Pablo for their time, patience, and customer service! Edit #2: Regarding the below issue, Pep Boys was responsive and, in fairness to other people who had appointments, all I had to do was schedule a new time. They got me in fast considering I was running behind that day admittedly. The alignment was corrected and the mechanic also re-balanced all 4 tires as well. The car is driving much smoother. 5-star rating restored. Thank you once again! 👏🙏 Edit: The alignment is warrantied for 30 days, and from the first few days the car was shaking and the steering wheel was not straight. When I asked they said to simply bring it in and they’d realign it. Then, when I went back there was a snafu finding a time to redo the alignment even if I left the car there (an alignment takes 20-30 minutes max, and now our tires have been wearing unevenly as a result), plus they said the alignment machine was out of recalibration a few weeks ago which is likely why our alignment wasn’t correct. Meaning, our car seemingly wasn’t really aligned in the first place when we paid for it when we bought our 4 new tires?! So what’s the point of an alignment if the machine is out of calibration? While my initial experience of buying the tires was pretty smooth, I had just begun to wonder why the adjustment for the alignment (under warranty) was an issue, however it all worked out.

Terrible experience Their inspections are terrible My brake pads and routers were completely fine but thy forced to change them and since thy hav changed it thy are making noises. The actual sound was of struts which should have been fixed at first place.

Brought my car to get my front and rear bearings replaced. I scheduled for an appointment a week ahead and was told to bring my car in on the specified date at 830am. I got there and no one was there and the place was closed, doors locked. I waited until 845am and still no one came to open, so I left my keys in the drop box. At 1025am I get a call that for my bearings to be replaced they need to do a suspension evaluation or something for $99 and I agreed and asked that they call me after that. I do not get a call so at 315pm I call back and they tell me they won't get to it and someone will call me first thing the next morning at 830am for an update. Next day I hear nothing from them so I call twice at 2pm and no one answers. I go to the shop and the guy says he doesn't have my key, I told him someone read off the form I left my keys in yesterday so they are somewhere here. He takes a walk around the shop and finds my key and hands them to me. He then helps the guy next in line and gives no explanation. I have to ask another employee if anything was done on my car and he had to ask the guy who gave me my key and he just shakes his head no. So I got no explanation as to why nothing was done to my car. I've truly never had an experience like this in my entire life and I can't help but just laugh about the whole thing. What a joke of a business.

Came in with a flat tire on Saturday 3pm, 3 guys sitting inside and doing nothing, manager tells me they can’t get me in until Monday! Tire change takes 10 minutes with equipment they have. This is not a way to do a business chaps!

Metto una stella perché meno non si può. In officina sono degli incompetenti. Ci hanno riparato una foratura e col trapano hanno fatto un secondo buco. Quando siamo ripartiti e abbiamo preso l'autostrada a 300 mt dalla loro sede la pressione della gomma ha iniziato a calare notevolmente. Purtroppo non potevamo tornare xché erano le 5:50 p.m. ed avevano già chiuso anche se dal loro sito l'orario di chiusura dovrebbe essere alle 7 p.m. Dato che la pressione calava, siamo fortunatamente riusciti ad uscire dall'autostrada e abbiamo messo il ruotino di scorta per poter arrivare da un altro gommista che si è accorto della presenza del secondo buco creato col trapano. Oltre a questo ha verificato che la riparazione appena effettuata sul primo buco era pessima! Sconsigliatissimo!!! Abbiamo lasciato pure la mancia. Doppia fregatura. State alla larga

This location is the very definition of lazy employees and horrible customer service. On Saturday 07/20 I had horrible luck and had two flat tires in the same day. The first I was able to replace, however the second needed to be plugged. When the second flat occurred, I happed to be right around the corner from this location. Walking in, at 3:47 pm, I found one employee playing in his phone, another employee sitting on the couch in the lobby and a third in the garage working on the only car on a bay. Sign on the door is clear that the shop closes at 7:00. Long story short, they refused to help me with my emergency in fixing the tire, although to their credit, they did help refill the tire with air, which lasted for 4 blocks. I ended up having to drive 2 miles in a flat tire to a location that was able to plug my flat tire in 7 min. This is a clear case in lazy employees that simply did not feel like working. I would highly recommend going to a different location or business.
