Got my brakes done at pep boys on East Platte in CO Springs. Prices were a bit steep but they made up for it with great customer service. John did a great job of getting the job done promptly and breaking down my inspection for me. I will probably shop for pricing in town next time, typically pep boys is competitive but here they seem steep.

We came in close to closing time due to a popped tire, and they were able to get us in first thing the next morning which I was super grateful for since we had a long travel back home and didn't wanna go all that way on a donut. Phyllis took care of us and was super nice and friendly. She's a great face to have greet you when you walk in! Thank you Phyllis!

Went to get 4 new tires and it took 2 1/2 hours and the manager was being rude about everything and they broke active sensor and I told him that the factory rims don't take lip weights on the wheels and he said it's not his problem and I told him to change them and he said that it will be another 1 hour I don't recommend pep boys on circle and plate avoid this place and go somewhere else that will treat you right

Great experience. I called the N academy store and was told they couldn’t do my inspection and so I went to this location and I was in and out without any hassle. Great management all around.

Had a flat after tire rotation on complete Pep Boys purchase and install. After they informed me the flat was due to installer using wrong magnets to balance wheel-i was charged a road hazard repair!! I didn't HAVE a road hazard, I had an INSTALL hazard!! Its the principal, not the fee. They don't stand by their own work. Never again!

Sorry to put this comment. But they have a person on the counter who is the most rude I've ever met. He doesn't like to listen to people and I think much less work because I've been on a couple of occasions and I still don't finish talking and he says no or that he can't. They should talk to her and make her see what she's there for. It's the woman at the counter

I was told Pep Boys have accounts with rental agencies and was recommended this place specifically on Platte to look at a leaking tire. It came across it was too much effort to even call the rental place so they turned me away. I went down the road to the one on North Academy and they actually helped me

These people are criminals. I took my car in because it was running kind of rough. I thought it might be the fuel pump. As it turns out it was one of the ignition coils (essentially, these are spark plug wires). John Clarke, the manager said the I should replace all four of them. I agreed. He charged me $855.00 for all four parts (these are not OEM parts and could have been purchased for about $60.00 for all four). He put new spark plugs in as part of replacing the ignition coils and charged me $107.96 for four spark plugs. He charged me two separate labor charges to install three new belts. He charged me a $35.00 shop fee (any idea what that is ?) He charged me $374.79 in labor to install 3 belts, 4 spark plugs and 4 spark plug wires. BE CAREFUL! These people are criminals!

My boyfriend and I got stuck in his jeep with the engine overheating on our way in from Michigan. We were able to pull enough strings to make it in to Colorado and out of all the places I called the following morning pep boys agreed to get us in and checked out immediately. They did a thorough inspection and found the leak the auto shop in Michigan missed. Walked us through exactly what was wrong and what they planned on fixing without trying to talk us in to anything else! Super knowledgeable team and wanted to help us out anyway they could. Highly recommend!!

Pep boys on South Academy said they were out of glue to fix our flat tire when I called, but Pep boys on Platte Ave was awesome and Phyllis and John saved our first vacation day. Highly recommend this location.

When we pulled into town on vacation our car broke down. We had it towed to Pep Boys and they absolutely saved our trip. Their communication was amazing and they got our car back to us in time for us to enjoy the last day of our trip! We can’t be more grateful for the service!
