Hi! So I came here last week to get my oil changed, and that itself was fine. What I'm not okay with is being told that my brake pads and battery are bad and needed to be replaced when they didn't. Turns out that my brake pads were great, and my battery was fine. So I'm not sure if the mechanic that day just wanted to make some extra money. I was also charged additional money for a "coolant check" to be told that my radiator needed to be replaced, and I'm also not okay with that.

Worst auto service experience of my life. My cabin airflow tube got disconnected and it was causing my car to turn off. I didn’t know that’s what the issue was I would’ve fixed it myself. For the diagnostics and for twenty minutes of work they charged me THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS because the manger told them to. I’m beyond pissed and didn’t expect to get hustled today. I will never shop at Pep Boys again much less come to them for auto work Edit: I actually broke down next to a breaks plus but had my car towed to Pep Boys. Breaks Plus said they would’ve charged 140 for the same exact service so I truly did just get scammed. Don’t EVER come to pep boys and if you do make sure you know your cars

Broke down on vacation, got us in same day and fixed the next even tried to help us find a rental car. GM and mechanic Michael were very helpful saved our trip and even got back home on time. Highly recommend it

This PepBoy is the best I have ever been too. As a Widow it means a lot to me to have a Female at the desk that is so mechanically knowledgeable and the entire staff is amazing. They are patient and efficient. They tell you everything before they do anything. And, will find away to discount the cost. I have been so happy with the results. Convenient location and great service. I recently needed a road hazard tire replacement and did not have an appointment. Aneco worked me in to the schedule and got a replacement tire from across town to get us back on the road same day. Excellent service!

I took my car in for AC diagnostic. They quoted me at $907 for $300 labor and the replacement of two parts. I replaced the two parts in under an hour and they only cost me $71.20. I just needed some simple tools and youtube. My AC works great now and I saved myself $835.80!!! They really tried to scam me. At least they gave me a decent diagnostic (?) -_-

I was in town from Alabama for a ball tournament and had a caliper fail. Even though it was on the 4th of July the guys at prep boys got me in and had me back on the road in no time!!! I would recommend to anyone!!

Staff makes sure to take care of you. They can be short staffed, so if you schedule online make sure to call as well to ensure they can service your vehicle.
