I scheduled an online appt (as they suggest on the phone) and input all the info about needing an alignment. I even checked the box asking for them to call me beforehand. I received no contact whatsoever. When I arrived at the location for my appt, I was told their alignment machine was not working. When I asked why did you not contact me then, the employee said the machine has been broken and he couldn't get someone out to fix it. So why not notify your customers?!?! Frustrating. This feels like a lie as I've had other pepboys not want to honor my lifetime alignment before.

made an appointment and it was confirmed on the tracking link they sent me. when i showed up they told me they didn’t have any more appointments for the day and that they couldn’t service my car. waste of time.

It’s very disappointed Your store closed on Saturday but why let’s me make and appointment on the day u close ? And this is second tine try to use your service since the first time i make appointment but when i am there you said ur pretty book can check my car ! Will never again with Pep Boys So Done

Made an appointment for a pre-purchase 120 point inspection. Took the used car for a test drive to PepBoys and they said they had too much to do and couldn’t honor my appointment. Their communication was very poor, as there was another person working the front desk who never called to tell me they needed to cancel my appointment. Did not end up buying the car because of this. Very disappointed.

Needed a flat tire fixed in a hurry. Corey (Store Mgr) was ready, willing, able to take me right away! He went to get the correct tire for my Prius & I was in & out in 45 min! Super friendly, pleasant & didn't try to over-sell me. Will give him more biz, as he does most everything, except transmissions/engines! Give this guy & his shop a try!

I was struggling to change my license plates because the bolts had rusted over and I stopped by seeing if someone could help. Everyone here was so kind and willing to help. They changed my license plates, and when I asked how much they said no charge. I was so pleased I decided to return here for my oil change. Thank you to Richard & the pep boys team!

A good experience. Drop off was pleasant and car was completed early. They let me know the condition of my brake pads as a courtesy but were easy going when I declined because I already have an Audi mechanic. Tires were installed properly and balanced and inflated correctly. Tires were purchased from Giga-Tires which uses PepBoys as one of their preferred installers, I recommend choosing them if you have the opportunity.

Came to the Broadway (sister) store because the bigger one was short staffed and my appt. I made was going to end up taking all day. Ever since then I will only come to the “sister” store. They are much more reliable and less busy. The techs. All do a thorough job and Richard the asst. manager is very helpful. Come here, don’t waste your time with the larger broadway location

Richard took me in with 5 minutes notice because my new tires had not been put on correctly by another shop days before and were going flat fast. They were very helpful got them fixed and ready to go quickly.

I'm a woman in my 20s and feel taken advantage of by Pep Boys. The splash guard under my vehicle was bent. When I picked up my vehicle, I was told for nearly 15 mins how zip ties were put into place to keep the sheathing from hitting the ground. I was explained how cut the zip ties off in case I wanted to do more work on it myself, and how this would help my current situation. After I paid and left, my boyfriend looked under the car to find that NONE of this work was done and the piece they supposedly zip tied and made flush under the car was completely gone. No one advised me of this. When we returned to the store to complain of the problem, the man at the desk told us "it was a misunderstanding" and that he actually didn't do any of the work that he told me he did and just took the piece off without replacing it or informing me it was gone, or telling me how to order a replacement. When asked why I was charged, he said "that's just the cost of doing business nowadays." I feel intentionally lied to and Pep Boys has lost my trust. I'll tell my non-car savvy friends to go elsewhere or risk being taken advantage of. Even after I asked how to replace the part, if we could order it to Pep Boys, or how to find one, the man at the service desk told me that he would not order the piece from Honda because he doesn't like working with them. When asked where I could buy the piece, he told me to go to O'Reilly. When asked if I could buy the pieces there and have him install it, he said no. Pep Boys is very close and convenient to me and I'm trying to give them my business and it just doesn't seem like they want it. Paid for alignment that was not done. Went in to get an alignment and tires rotated. After I picked up, noticed zero change handling of car, air pressure warning light was still on, tires visibly at wrong PSI. Turned around and went right back. Richard rechecked tire and adjusted air pressure quite a bit. Within a month, got new tires and went to another shop for an alignment. Turns out an alignment was not preformed at pep boys, tie rods were rusted/frozen shut (29 days later). Tie rods had to be replaced before alignment could be preformed. Manager issued a refund for alignment, but highly doubt any of the other work was done. Pro tip: online appointments are literally worthless cause online doesn’t “talk” to the in store computer so your appointment will be cancelled.

The service manager was polite, but I spent just shy of two hours waiting on a tire patch. The techs had my car in the bay for 90 minutes and said it was a simple repair, which really makes me question what was going on back there for so long. If the service manager had just told me it would be 2 hours, that would have been fine and I’d leave 5 stars… but he said it would “be out quickly” so I wasted 2 hours waiting in their lobby. I had the first appointment of the day too. Definitely wouldn’t return.
