After waiting for :30 min at Discount Tires just to have some assess my tire rotation/ balance request and being told it would be another 1.5 hour to actually get my vehicle on service bay, I headed to Pep Boys. It took me approximately :45 min. to check in and out and a wealth of service information. Angel {front desk attendant) was very knowledgeable and informative.

Came here through a warranty partnership twice with the same check engine light. They turned off the check engine light instead of diagnosing the car and when we asked why they did that they said “isn’t that what you wanted me to do?” They told me to take it to the dealership.

I’ve been coming here for over a decade getting my brakes done on our vehicles. On my last visit, they called to tell me I need new rotors as they don’t turn them anymore. They wanted $700 for the new rotors. I told them no, as that is way too expensive. I went to Discount Inspection and Brakes, independently owned, and they did the same rotors for half the price. Icing on the cake PepBoys left the reservoir cap off the reservoir and when I went back the next day to ask them for the cap back, they said a manager would call me the next day after he reviews the cameras to make sure they took it off. No one has ever worked on my trucks brakes up until now so you are the only one that has ever touched it. I’m still waiting on the phone call back from the manager. I won’t hold my breathe.

Best service I ever got at a car shop thru conscious manager Jose, quick response and attention from JR at front desk and honest clearness visual explanation of my car problem from mechanic Felix. 5 Stars thank you for taking time to get my car problem resolved. First time I didn't feel getting rip off from a car shop in my life

Had an appointment for 9:00am they service my car immediately I went to breakfast and as I was walking back into area they were calling me, that’s Service. I paid and left great timing.

I had a flat tire that could not be fixed. I purchased replacement tires and made an appointment online. Two hours after dropping off my car at the appointment time, they called to say they did not have the tires in the store so I had to go pick up the car; they were unable to provide an ETA for the tires. After two days of no updates I called the main Pep Boys help line and they told me the tire order had been cancelled by the shop. I wasted two days not being able to drive to work due to their incompetence. To boot, the person working the desk was rude. I ended up going to Discount Tire, got the tires overnight, at a lower cost and with much friendlier service.

Pep Boys gave me a great deal on tires! The service was fast and easy. I made an appointment online and arrived on time and was completely done in less than 2 hours! Attending representatives were very courteous!

Brought my car in for low tire pressure. They said they were having trouble with the wheel lock and they were scared to break it off. They stripped the wheel lock and one of the lug nuts on 8/13. Brought it back on 8/14 to the manager who told me his technician did not do this and I needed to leave. Called corporate and waiting on a response. Beware of this location!!!!

This team is very thorough and fair. Eli, Angel and Jean assisted me and all three were easy to talk to and clear in communicating to me what the process should be in resolving my problem. I would recommend PB and these gentlemen in particular.

2nd bad experience here. Called yesterday and told that they could test electrical systems to see why my battery light is coming on although the battery and alternator are new. I drove far because they were one of the only places open on a Sunday so I came early. I arrive and I'm told that they don't test electrical components but only test the voltage of the battery and alternator which I'd already had done for free thanks to my AAA membership. To top things off they wanted me to leave my car just to check those things which really shouldn't be a long process. Pretty disappointed that I wasted a trip there again only to leave without anything being done to my automobile. I think I'll stick to the smaller repair shops that have good reviews.

The team at Pep Boys North Loop Houston were amazing during my visit. I drive a company owned vehicle and experienced a flat tire over the weekend. When I arrived the gentleman overseeing customer service greeted me and understood how to process this type of repair. He let me know what to expect and provided an example of another customer with the same scenario and how long it took to service them. I greatly appreciated their service on a Sunday. They had a line of customers, the phone calls were coming in every few minutes but they ensured each customer was treated the same. I recommend this Pep Boys as a go to for anyone who wants a seamless and positive experience. Side note: this was the second Pep Boys I visited as the first one the individual was rude and seemed annoyed I wanted help on a Sunday repeatedly saying “on a Sunday?!” They then asked me to come back during the week because taking care of a company owned vehicle is “a whole process” and they need to get paid.
