I took my truck to this location out of desperation, i was leaking oil from the drain plug. I expected that it wouldn't be able to be tapped and the pan would need to be replaced, they quoted me $1200, I approved the oil pan, they took two days to replace it. I took it home and it was still leaking, I thought maybe it was residual oil from spillage, but a week went by and it only got worse, so I take it back and now they're saying it is unrelated and it's the timing cover leaking not the oil pan. Luckily or not they snuck in a labor warranty they didn't tell me about the first time (separate grievance) so maybe that will help. But they are now actively trying to find ways for the warranty to not cover the work done. The only good words I can say about this location and my experience is Charlene, she was the only person willing to help and be honest. Apart from her it's a snake den.

I was lied to about the cost for a wheel alignment on a 99 suburban and when I got there the technician was unqualified to align it and then refused to work on it because I had completely rebuilt the front end and they didn't..... Big Chief Tire was not afraid and had no problem with the new parts

I want to Thank Anthony here at Pep Boys for helping me out in a bad situation that I had during my drive from Ga to Ft. Pierce, FL. My car over heated on 95 and I had it towed to them. They were quick to DX the issues and had it ready for me the next morning! I’m grateful for him and the staff there for their knowledge & kindness! 👍🏻🙏🏻😀

Poorly trained employees. They were trying to charge me for telling me my battery was bad when I already knew it was bad. I came in asking for a battery. Also, battery testing is a FREE service. I had to take my business elsewhere because of this.

Horrible customer service. manager wrote the wrong address on my receipt refuses to change the address on my receipt , i can't get reimbursed from my insurance company, called the customer service number 4 times already. no callback, no offer to help stay away from this location and from this company Answer to response: you already have my information. Just do the right thing

Congratulations to Benn and The absolute worse Manager Anthony, Had towed a car belonging to a CHURCH because Ben lied and stated he didn't hear from anyone for a week when we have recorded calls and emails And the total lack of professionalism from the Manager Anthony who hangs up on customers and then when you go to confront him in person want to call the police Astonished that we gave them another chance when last year we were charged 300 to get a misdiagnosis on a car that cost 2000 for headlights when only needed a balist and bulb Now we need to spend 300 on illegal tow

Thanks for getting my car back on road but you all need to do better I brought my car to yall with nothing on floor and yall also left my door unlock after you check it out to what was going on with it I know because I came there to check the status and my boyfriend went to test doors and car was unlocked I told the guy about it he locked it but it pisses me off how I pick my car up and everything I had In the cubby holds was put on floor looks like someone was searching all through my car for something to steal the only thing that was tooken was a red fossil and a towel we kept in car to put oil or other fluids if needed. Even my car registrations was on floor. Yall need to do better cause if I had left anything more expensive in here and it was gone somebody was gonna have to take responsibility for it.

Worst place ever do no go there it started February 4 2023when my car wouldn't start they towed it and said it was the battery sold me a battery for $209.99 after a discount after all the extra stuff I paid $279.54. 3 days later I have a dead car again. Towed to pep boy now they say it needs a new alternator total $814.67. I was good for 6 months. Then dead car again towed to pep boy another $80.61after a week they still can't get it to start so I go in to get my car because I know it will start with a jump and the guy is telling me that it will not start with a jump and he will show me he gets in and tries and nothing and he gets out and says see it will not start mean while the guy from the front desk walks out with my key fob gets in and it starts right up so I told the guy my car just started and he said no it didn't and as he was walking back towards my car the guy who started it started backing my car out and he all he said was I guess they got it jumped. (No you need the key fob in the car to start it.) Come to find they tore off my decoration button I had around my start button and never asked or told me and when I called in they first said i was already off and when i told them i know it was on there when my car got towed in the manager just blew it off and said that the mechanic thought that was what was causing it to not start. It was attached around the outside of my push start button. Never offered to replace it or even apologized or anything just said it could be glued back on SO NOT THE POINT YOU HAD NO PERMISSION TO REMOVE IT FROM ME THE OWNER. I drove it home drove to work car died a old mechanic friend was working there and he came to give it a jump he hooked it up nothing happened he said hold on it something electrical so he went got a wrench and what did he find they never tighten the bolt all the way when they sold and installed a new battery. Now it died again and this time I knew it needed another battery because it would not take a charge or jump so I call in and im told to bring the battery and my paperwork and they will replace it. Take it in 3 days later and My husband have to pay another $85.89 mind you when I bought the battery from them I got a 36 month warranty. They tell him its because they don't carry that brand of battery anymore. But I got charged for a 3 year warranty. I called today 7/24/24 and the manager said that he told him it was because battery's are more expensive today then they was Feb 4 2023 and its the difference my first battery was $209.99 this battery is 239.99 that is a difference of $30.00 Not $85.89. So not only did I not need a alternator they ripped me off on my battery also

Fleet maintenance can be a hassle in my industry. The 2 gentlemen working today on 6/04/2024 Anthony and Benjamin had me in and out in a very reasonable time. Both were kind and polite as well as the mechanics. Thank you!

I went to have them check an oil leak. They came back and said I had a cracked oil pan and needed a new one Cost $1300-$1400+. I paid $44 for the diagnosis. I said I would think about it. Called my brother who sent me to his guy. He didn't see a crack in the oil pan. He did see that the drain plug was loose and stripped. So I got a new one at the dealership $15. He put it on and I paid him $40. The leak continued a bit. So I took it back to him and he looked again and saw that the oil filter was old and worn. I got a new on for $14+. He put it on and I gave him $20 (he didn't ask for any money). The car is not leaking oil at all. I've been checking. It's been a week. Total cost: around $100 to fix the problem. Pep Boys wanted me to pay over $1400 for a simple repair. Never gave me the option of a drain plug nor filter. Just a story of my oil plug falling out and me losing all the oil. I'm disappointed. Maybe it was because I'm a woman. I don't know. I hope not. But don't do this to a customer who would be a returning one. Do better. You need to do better. I won't be back, and will tell others of my experience.

Omgeee my car battery wouldn’t start at work so I cranked it again and it started … It was acting iffy on the way so I called Pep Boys to see if they would change my battery they said yes and I asked them how much it would cost and he said $20 I was like okay I can work with that I’m otw …. When I got there he went out to look at my car and came back in and quoted me a MUCH HIGHER PRICE SMHHH THE PRICE WENT UP TO $110 😮‍💨😮‍💨 I wish they offered discounts or something (For the inconvenience/misquote) … I’m a bit disappointed about that but this is my ONLY transportation to and from where I need to go … Thanks to the mechanic Christian for changing this out for me he’s always soooo nice 🙌🏾🙏🏾 The battery diagnostic part of this document is false I wasn’t offered this service trust me I wouldn’t have declined this 🥹🥹 …

Scheduled an appointment online. Got a price from them to change my front disc brakes. When I got there, they attempted to more than doubled the price. When I said that that's not what they said when I scheduled the appointment, they didn't care. They give you one price to get you in the door, and then change it once you are there. I would never suggest them to anyone if this is their common business practice. Waste of time.

Not very appealing. Automotive section only part open. Pricey. Paid over $200.00 for a Ford Fusion Car Battery. Waited over 2 hours. Store is no longer available & per workers will not be returning. Won't be returning.
