The glass in the waiting room has been blacked out so you can’t see what the mechanics are doing on your car and if you go out to the parking and look at your car the girl comes out and tells you to go to the other side of the parking where you can’t see anything. Don’t go there they will make you feel like you’re a little naughty kid

Took my car in for an oil change, I did have other issues that I wasn’t able to address due to $. So they did the oil change I left once I got onto the freeway my car started smoking bunch of white smoke now I can’t even drive my car. It was not smoking prior to the oil change So I called and they couldn’t help me over the phone which is understandable I get it but he wouldn’t answer my question I asked if possibly any oil spilled would that cause white smoke? Now my car in not drivable 😡

It took 3 hours to complete my oil change, even with an appointment. Also had to get Lyft & uber inspections….$20 each for 1 min inspection that’s the same inspection. The guy writing the form’s handwriting was illegible so the forms could not be approved by the apps. So I’ve had to fill out the papers on my own anyway. A scam and a rip off. They also tried to tell me I need 4 new tires for $800 when my tires have been replaced a year ago. 🤯 incredible

Avoid like the coming plague. They had my vehicle for two months and never ordered the part they needed despite me following up twice. Every time I have brought vehicles here there have been issues. They will try to sell things you don’t need. Complete incompetence.

Beware of this place. They ruined my car and have ruined my Christmas. Since bringing my car here for a brake check they decide to supposedly do a full inspection without my permission. When I left this place my car started shaking and my radiator is damaged. My car is still vibrating and I have to call my mechanic again to see what they did to my car. I am warning everyone to stay away as they will purposely damage your car engine thinking they can trick you into fixing it with them. Shame on Pep Boys and what you are doing is illegal. I will get an attorney and sue you for what you did to my car. You have caused emotional distress to me and have not taken initiative for what you have done. shame on you for damaging someone’s car. May God see what you have done. I have spent so much since I left Pep Boys. I miss my car before I took it there. My attorney will talk to you. Shame on you

🚨❗️🆘 I had the most terrible experience I've ever had in automotive care. I came here initially to replace two tires, tech found I needed oil as well as a new air filter. I proceeded to add those on. The next day, my engine light came on. I came in for a diagnostic ($99.99) and was provided with suggestions totaling $2,083 which is absolutely insane. I declined and went to Affordable Care of Hollywood instead and they fixed the issue for $175 total including a $45 diagnostic. PepBoys mechanic suggested I needed new spark plugs, valves, fuel injectors, and battery (!). Turns out all of the above were completely fine, all I needed was valve adjustment. Unbelievable scam/fraud happening at this PepBoys location trying to rip me off for $2,000. Also, the employee named Ashley here gave me the most condescending attitude, tone, and seemed upset with me when I asked for a breakdown of the quote as well as breakdown for tire replacement cost quote. Truly the worst customer service I've ever experienced and have told everyone I know to avoid PepBoys at all costs. I'm a small business owner and over my dead body would I treat a customer the way this employee Ashley spoke to me. Please avoid this place like the plague, there are other HONEST auto shops nearby to support instead. 🚨❗️🆘

Accidentally made an appointment for an oil change at another location but this location took me on a particularly busy Saturday morning and had my vehicle completed in about an hour. I will be back.::UPDATE:: when they rotated my tires they kept my wheel lock. I got a flat tire a few months later and had to pay an extra $50 to have the wheel lock broken off (on top of paying for a tire repair). Not very happy about that. I will not return to this location

I originally just gave this shop a good review for the discount. Turns out the 400.00 I paid them to fix my engine coolant leak did absolutely nothing to resolve my car's problem. I diagnosed the trouble myself after some internet searches (wish I would have done this before taking my car to Pep Boys). I returned to Pep Boys to see if they would make it right and repair my car (a worn out coolant tank that costs 40.00 from GM) - they checked my car and confirmed MY diagnosis and asked for ANOTHER 300.00 plus dollars to replace the coolant reservoir. I purchased all the tools and parts I needed to fix it myself for 53.00 on Amazon. It is literally 2 bolts and 2 pipe connections. A 10 minute fix for me - and I am no mechanic. Thanks for nothing Pep Boys you won't be seeing my car again.

I showed up they were very welcoming. Took my car and then they text me to inform me that I needed tires which I kind of already knew so I got new tires and the whole service was smooth . I will be going back to pep boys

I went without an appt, and one employee checked my tire for a slow leak, and added air to it. Very courteous and it helped me a great deal! Great staff!

This is a fine place to get basic inspection and maintenance done on your car. They are generally pretty friendly and helpful. They are really great about recommending coupons to help you save a little money. Even with an appointment, if you have more complex work than battery or oil change, their estimates are not great. Expect to wait a long time. If they tell you a time estimate, add 2-3 hours to it. I think they could have put more effort into going over the inspection report and authorizing each service item. Instead, they didn't really explain anything, gave me the report, and assumed I wanted everything done unless I told them I didn't. For a recent more complex service (oil change, full brake system maintenance), I was less than thrilled with the way the car was returned. In particular, the OEM pouch the wheel lock comes in was missing, and I found it on the ground in the maintenance bay - no permanent problem, but shows a bit of carelessness.

This is the worst Pep Boys location, with SUPER slow service and ZERO customer care/service. Made and appointment for 12 noon, was there at the right time and been told to pick up the car after 1.5 hours. After that 1.5 hours, when I went to check how long more would it take they told me another 45 and the keys of my car were still on the desk near the PC and not in that order pocket. After spending usles 2.5 hours I took my keys and went out from that shitty place. Tire rotation, which takes MAXIMUM 15 minutes, they keep you waiting 2.5+ hours. When I was about to grab my keys back I saw a guy taking the car inside to start the job, I asked how long will it take, he answered 30 minutes)))))) Maaaan 30 minutes????)))))) That is JUST a rotation, no balance, no repair...nothing but rotaion!!! That's why wherever you go you wait and wait and wait, if smth can be done in 1 hour this will take a whole shift and so on, this is America! And no sorry no regrets, ai said I need my keys back the answer was - SURE, without why, what's the problem. I don't recommend anyone useing this location!!!

Went for the vehicle inspection now (Monday). It says on the signs they do inspection Monday to Friday. but they said they don’t do inspection today. Bad customer service
