This is a fine place to get basic inspection and maintenance done on your car. They are generally pretty friendly and helpful. They are really great about recommending coupons to help you save a little money. Even with an appointment, if you have more complex work than battery or oil change, their estimates are not great. Expect to wait a long time. If they tell you a time estimate, add 2-3 hours to it. I think they could have put more effort into going over the inspection report and authorizing each service item. Instead, they didn't really explain anything, gave me the report, and assumed I wanted everything done unless I told them I didn't. For a recent more complex service (oil change, full brake system maintenance), I was less than thrilled with the way the car was returned. In particular, the OEM pouch the wheel lock comes in was missing, and I found it on the ground in the maintenance bay - no permanent problem, but shows a bit of carelessness.

Shoutout to the team at Pep Boys Auto Service! They swiftly diagnosed the problem with my 2016 Chevy Malibu and ordered the needed parts right away. Jay was friendly and very helpful throughout the intake process, especially when an unexpected service change arose. I truly appreciate their dedication to fixing my vehicle!

Went for the vehicle inspection now (Monday). It says on the signs they do inspection Monday to Friday. but they said they don’t do inspection today. Bad customer service

Went for an oil change and tire balancing and the mechanic must have dropped something on my windshield at some point because there was a large crack when I went to pick up my vehicle!! The manager was incredibly rude about it. She claimed the crack was there upon arrival, even though it wasn’t noted in the visual inspection notes and refused to look at my ring footage from the morning clearly showing no crack when I left for the oil change. I asked to review the CCTV footage of my car while at Pepboys with her instead told me she would try to get to reviewing the footage on her own in a day or two. Mistakes happen but the lack of care to even investigate what happened is appalling. So I guess avoid this place if your prefer your windshield with no cracks lol. Edit: The manager finally got around to reviewing the footage on Monday and then claimed they couldn’t see if they had damaged the vehicle due to the “angle of the camera” 🙄 After much back and forth they eventually agreed to pay for the fix. The manager at this particular location was very unhelpful and borderline rude throughout the process and really only took action after I called corporate to complain. Mistakes happen, it’s just frustrating that there was a total lack of accountability/help from the office after they caused the damage. PS don’t believe the 5 star reviews they offer a discount for leaving a 5 star review 🫠

Went here to replace a part that the dealership identified as an issue but would’ve overcharged. They broke my AC/ heater, which had nothing to do with the original issue. Had never had any issues with it and it worked perfectly fine the morning I dropped it off, but the system literally doesn’t turn on anymore. They claimed that it was an already existing issue. Now have to spend more money to fix something that was working well before taking to this location.

fairly quick service and decent priced tires. David works a good counter , very courteous while very busy. Carlos helps out to get everyone taken care of too. Update: 10-12-24 Different car for fuel system cleaning, tire rotation , oil change, and tune up. Reasonably priced (600 for everything) Same day service , was ready by 2pm and I brought it in at 830am (w/ appointment) Friendly staff too
