The staff was very knowledgeable and patient. They seached different suppliers to find the best parts for the lowest price to help me save money. The brake job which they performed was done in a timely manner. Myron was especially helpful.

Woke up tuesday morning with a slit tire, drove it here at 8am. They said it would take a few hours to fix the one tire because of the type of vehicle it is, here it is 2pm and its still not ready or even being worked on smh

Estoy decepcionado con esto de Pep Boys. Compré mis llantas hace un par de meses. Me ofrecieron un seguro de que si algo le pasaba a mis llantas me las cambiaban por otras. Resulta que fui y no me dijeron que las leyes habían cambiado y que tenían que arreglarlo. ¿Cómo es posible que si ofrecen seguro hagan esto? Y ese gerente que tienen ahí es un racista que se enoja si alguien se queja como si el dinero que se pagó no costara ganarlo.

I went here out of sheer desperation, had an hour+ commute home and my tire air pressure light came on, after I just had my tires serviced at an American tire 2 days ago lol. What a pain. Came here and Lupe helped me out. He was extremely thorough and found a sidewall leak that AT had likely completely overlooked. They replaced my tire and I made it home safe. Their prices were reasonable and everyone I interacted with here seemed like good dudes, if you need tires I'd highly recommend this location.

Myron and Ricardo were great. This is the third time I’ve been for tire service either replacement or patch. And I’ve always gotten great service. This time was even better than I could have expected, I found a screw embedded in a tire but it hadn’t lost pressure yet, drove to them and after removing the screw they tested the tire and confirmed it hadn’t been punctured yet. They did not charge me for anything even after having to go through the trouble of testing my tire for leaks

Hugo H. Ricardo and The manager on shift really turned my whole day around. My car died in between a job interview and returning to work in the middle of the intersection. My car died with just enough momentum to leave me in the bus lane stranded couldn’t even put my hazard lights on because everything was dead. Turns out I needed a new battery and alternator, the tow truck guy was great and then everyone else there did whatever they could help me.

It works better when you make an appointment. It isn’t the cheapest price, but I like the accidental damage insurance for tires. Also I went there because it was close and was one of the few places recommended by Michelin on their website.

I caught them at around 2:30 or three they said that they are not having same-day appointments when I asked could I get a wheel alignment today so when I went online and looked at the openings they did have openings for 4 o’clock and 430 so I made an appointment. They called me back and told me we’re gonna have to cancel the appointment, so what is the point of having online appointment scheduling if you can’t even use it. At this particular Pep Boys they are lazy.

I have been here three hours for an oil change and one tire. We were told an hour and a half. We came back in two hours and the car had not been touched. Then the tire that was put on my car looked worse than the tire they removed and after paying over $200 there is no warranty. Being pissed is an understatement.

Just disappointed on the service I received from this location. Came for fleet service on brakes I had done here a couple days ago. Front brake pads & rotors were replaced. 2 days later making noise. Called and schedule appointment 2 days ahead of time. Tech said it’s under warranty so it want be a problem. Get there 2 days later at my scheduled time. Technician had hard time finding me in the system. Finally found me in the system. Then he says I don’t know if we can get to it today. Because it’s not your vehicle and we will have to get authorization from hertz to work on vehicle. And I would be able to get a hold of them because their closed today. I told him I told you it was a hertz vehicle that had service here a couple days ago for this issue. And was told it wouldn’t be a problem because it’s under warranty. So now rescheduled service again for the next day. I think they were so behind schedule that day, an didn’t have time. Get in next day and explain to the manager Miron about what occurred on my schedule appointment. Didn’t feel as if he cared or not about the situation. Made excuses for his guys. So I told him the the brakes we’re making noise after two days of driving. He tells me ok we’ll get you in and check it out. 20 minutes later he calls me outside and says from what I told him, it’s the lower control arms. So he’s seated inside the vehicle and he tells me to keep an eyes on the front wheels as he pulls forward and rapidly press on brakes while in motion. The movement in between braking indicates that it’s the lower control arm. So now I have to try to get in touch with Hertz to get a ticket open for this; which is not easy to do. But was told that brakes are fine. Just the lower control arms.

Larry and Myron were amazing, very good customer service and explained everything in details so that I would understand because I'm just a girl that doesn't know anything about cars lol but I would recommend everyone to get their car serviced at Pepboys, just make an appointment and you'll be done in no time. I also like how they keep you updated with text messages.

The manager Myron is amazing. He takes care of everyone with patience and grace even when he's not always met with it. He also does NOT upsell like other places tried. I was told my brakes needed changing very soon, but Myron said I had plenty of material left. I will keep coming back to this Pep Boys.

Unfortunately, I need to edit this review to reflect new information. Shortly after my brakes service, a loud repetitive noise occurred. I called this location and asked them to check things out, which they did. They said they couldn’t find the source of it and when I rode along with the tech, it seemed to have stopped. Until days later, when it began again. I took it to a VW dealer who discovered the rotors that were machined by this location were now warped and needed replacement. The brake pads that I paid for also did not properly fit my vehicle according to VW standards and also needed to be replaced. I’ve paid 3x the amount than I did this original day to rectify the issues with my car and am very disappointed. I will not return to this location and cannot recommend it after all of these issues. OLD REVIEW: The staff is communicative and pleasant. They also want to ensure the safety of their customers. Though things took a little longer than I expected, they were empathetic and kind which was helpful. They even offered me a slice of pizza after I mentioned being hungry. These are good people.

I was in California for a short trip. My tire had a slow leak, but was planning to drive over 1,000 miles back home the next day. I called Pep Boys tire shop and the young Gentleman I spoke to was very helpful. I dropped my vehicle off and they took care of me in a timely manner. They were so awesome at communicating. I would highly recommend this place located on Crenshaw, in LA.
