My wife’s car had a nail in the drivers rear tire. She took it in and they had the nail removed and tire repaired in an hour. Great service as usual!

Oct 27, weekend staffs were great. everything was explained well. they treated me with respect and courtesy as a person not just as a customer. Answers all my questions patiently discuss the process and what must be done and why. however, when i came back on Oct 28, Monday for "retorquing" the staffs-the lady and the one with embroidered name George or Gregory- tall dark man, treated me as if i was incovenience/nuance. these people ruined the all the good experiences i had with pepboys. they asked me what have been done to my car, since i am not well versed in car mechanics and jargon, i gave them the paperworks. none of them even looked at the paper. the lady instructed me to pull over inside their garage. when i was inside, the guy repeatedly told me, "we just print that need for re-torquing in all the papers". i explained that i clearly asked their weekend staff if i need to drive back from Madison, Indiana to Louisville, Kentucky, and the staff confirmed that i need to see them back for retorquing. He did not even looked at the paperworks which clearly said Tire Rotation, computerized realignment and rearbrake service. he repeatedly and rudely said "you do not need retorquing but if you want i can do it; do you want to do it??!" To you sir G, im not a car expert thats the reason i keep coming back to Pep Boys because i trusted people like you. i understand that Mondays can be stressful but you do not need to be rude and impolite. i dont believe in customers are always right. but each and everyone must be treated with respect. thats basic human principle. Pepboys Company, kindly take a look at your staff, you may loss frequent customers for experiences like these.

I scheduled an appointment for an oil change that should have taken 20-30 min. As I walked in there was fresh (possibly dog?) poop on the floor that I almost stepped on. Then I waited over an hour in a filthy customer lounge (with a toddler). The woman was not friendly. I was overcharged. $85 for an oil change AFTER a $20 discount? (The oil change is $89 before discount online.) I will not go back. Go to Honda world, it’s much cleaner and the workers are friendly, and will cost you less money for an oil change.

I had my car towed to Pep Boys as it was the only mechanic open on Sunday. They did “fix” the issue and got the car done that day. Originally, I was very satisfied. Monday, less than 24 hours later, my car began having the same issues. I called to report it to them and had it towed back. After spending nearly $2000 on the repair the day before, there was absolutely no urgency to correct the issue or even look at the problem. I had to call on Tuesday for any update. They said they still weren’t sure what the issue was and didn’t know when they would know. I pushed for a timeframe and they said they’d let me know within the hour. Hours went by. They finally called saying they didn’t know what the problem was and recommended me take it the dealer. After a 3rd tow fee to the dealer let me know that they had incorrectly installed the parts. Save your money and potentially more damage. DO NOT use this company!

Service was fast and well done, but we had a Ziploc bag of gift cards in the center column that we discovered we’re missing several days later. So either the Pep Boys contracted tow truck driver took them or a tech.

All you get is rude staff, long wait times even after pre-booking appointment. 2 hours and no one attended to the car.

Exceptionally long completion time. Went in for standard maintenance, including an oil change and was told that the front desk that would be in and out in an hour and a half. Took over three hours, which caused it complete disruption to the total day. Given the time That it took to complete the maintenance and the poor communication upfront as to the communicated time, definitely could not recommend this place

Went to fix a/c blowing hot and tpms sensor code. They were able to quickly to get me in and diagnose the problem and offer a solution. Pricing was reasonable and repaired in a timely manor. Ery pleased w/ the professionalism and diagnostic ability. Would recommend them to anyone. Update, started blowing hot air again. Needs new evaporator core and to do that the dash has to be removed and that is a big job they don’t do. Recommended taking to radiator shop for service. Too bad it wasn’t a cheap fix.
