Horrible customer service! I took my vehicle to the Pep Boys store for a wheel alignment . Then about 2-3 weeks after, vehicle started to make a clunk noise on the driver tire when backing up and turning left. It brought concern, since my wife drives this car to commute with our kids back and forth to school. Long story short, I started to google reasons as to why a vehicle can make a clunk noise when backing up and in most cases, people had experience same issue after a wheel alignment. The reason came down to having one of the control arm bolts loose. I took a picture and show it to the gentlemen in the from desk. He automatically stated that they do not touch the control arms when doing a wheel alignment and wanted to charge me to do an inspection on the suspension. I then mentioned that I’m not a mechanic and that I was assuming that clunk noise was coming from the control arm. He still insisted in charging me to inspect the car, instead of making sure his mechanics had followed all proper steps to assure everything was in place with the work they did. But NO. Keep in mind that my vehicle is a 2022 with 29k miles. So I decided to take it to the dealer and make sure they fix what ever they did wrong. Since this is a safety concern. I will not be taking any of my vehicle there anymore, since they had zero concern on safety. Ohh I also forgot, he said I had crashed the car, and basically calling me a liar. Without even looking at the vehicle. Not sure how such company can have people like this working in-there.

Machanics are not good. Place wants to rip you off. They are good at tires n allingments. Thats it.

Más de 30 mtos esperando que la persona del frente termine de conversar y estar en la Santeria con una mujer y después que se cansaron de estar en la bachata y se digna a atenderme me dice que ya no puede hacerme el servicio porque ya no va a dar tiempo , coerrran a las 7 pm y estoy esperando que me atiendan desde las 5:10 pm , nada que no hay respeto por el trabajo

Had a 1pm appointment. Arrived on time, then proceeded to wait 30 minutes to speak to someone due to the backed up like and lack of staff. When I finally did speak with someone, was told my appointment couldn’t be honored and I would be waiting for 2 hours for them to start work on my vehicle. The appointment was for a tire rotation - a 20 minute service. Needless to say, did not wait. Save yourself the time & drive & take your vehicle elsewhere.

I've been going to that Pep-Boys and Phelippe, and his other they are awesome knowledgeable. As far as the work on my cars, it's been 5 stars always. Pricing as always been fair, and it was even cheaper this time around. People don't forget your coupons, they do help.
