Do not go to this specific location they WILL scam you. They don’t fix the problem most times if anything they make it WORSE. Rude workers and doesn’t seem like they care. I have been to other pep boys and they’re nice and try to give you deals to save money. When I’m asked about car service I specifically always say don’t go to Avalon park pep boys and many other people have said this too.

Called at 10.30 jose say we can fix replace rear rotor and pads by 2pm and has all parts with him. gave us 399 package price. so went and dropped off. called at 1.30 status update jose says working in will call me soon. my wife calls at 2pm hey need the car he says ohh we don't have part it's in the way. so my husband says sorry I need my car back with old parts reinstalled as we have to be somewhere that's we need car at 2pm. jose and will says we trashed old parts cannot and new parts we r picking up from oriellys so out of no choice we had to wait deal with all nonsense from this shop which I will never go back ever. no status update given. and how dare you throw old parts what if I needed back they are mine. Then all of sudden 2.45 tells me car is ready at this point I don't know if correct parts are installed or not. this is a very bad experience never go to pepboys in avalon Park blvd 32828.

I went in for a oil change and a tire rotation. Overall experience was pretty good. Customer service was very good. I was in and out in a very good time, but I would think with the oil change. They would ask me if I would like to change out my filter and/or even with a tire rotation, they would check the tire pressure. When I got back into my car, my tire pressure was very low, but besides that, it was a pretty good experience

Will was very courteous and helped me out when I came in looking for tire air caps. Even though they didnt sell them he did me a solid and threw me one for free which I highly appreciate. I got service in this pepboys once before but that act of kindness honestly made me a big fan and a returning customer

Brought my car in a while back To a pepboys it’s on 351 Avalon Park S Blvd, Orlando, FL 32828 to fix a coolant leak, they stated they fixed it and other issues such as a bad thermostat and charged me around 1,723$ for it. I went to another, mechanic to fix an oil leak because I felt Pep boys over charged me for previous services I had with them in the past, but I had no choice at the time. In addition to the oil leak the other mechanic found that I had a coolant leak, meaning my problem I paid Pepboys to do was never fixed and my car was still leaking coolant the entire time. I tried getting my money back, but the guys at pep boys asked for proof stating pictures would prove if they messed up, but when I told them I had the pictures on hand and the faulty parts they neglected to fix. Suddenly having physical and digital proof no longer counted and they refused to give me a refund while constantly lying to avoid disputes I've been having regarding the charge on my card. They sent receipts of another service with a completely different person and car to my bank to "show" they provided the services I asked for. I have sent two disputes now trying to get my money back because I have proof they never provided the service I brought my car over for and they have refused to look at it both times and lied about it. I tried talking to customer service, but they also just ignore everything telling me I need to bring the receipt from the other mechanic and the parts they fixed to the pepboys to look over. He told me this while threatening to close the case regardless if I did or not. I asked the customer service rep that if I didn't have the receipt or parts from the second mechanic would that mean the pepboys are allowed to do this? and he told me over the phone that if the team at a Pepboys decided to not fix the car and still charge full price, there is NOTHING they will do if I don't have the details on how ANOTHER mechanic fixed my car. Basically its alright to scam people and take their money without doing their jobs and the team at pepboys as well as the people at "customerservice" are all ok with it. I do not want to pay them for a service they factually did not provide me. I am arguing that they charged me for a problem that was never fixed and I want a refund on the grounds that I never got my problem fixed from them, so I shouldn't have to pay for a result I never got. However I have yet to hear back from them. These people are not a mechanic franchise, they are a bunch of con men and scam artists. Gamble your money and your car's future on them if you want and pray they care enough to do their job or not.
