I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at Pep Boys today. I brought my car in for two new tires, and when I got my vehicle back, I noticed significant scratches on my rim. This rim had been professionally repaired in August and was in perfect condition prior to the service. It is clear the damage occurred while my car was in Pep Boys’ care. This level of carelessness is unacceptable, especially from a business that prides itself on automotive expertise. I trusted Pep Boys with my car, and this experience has left me frustrated and dissatisfied. I urge the management to address this issue and take better care of customers’ vehicles in the future. This kind of oversight reflects poorly on the company’s professionalism and respect for its clientele.

SCAMMERS!!!!! I came in for an oil change 3 days ago and they decided to replace all my air filters and cabin filters because they were “dirty” I had it done 3 months ago at another Pepboys mind you!!!! I called the next day when I found the receipt from when I went 3 months ago and the person who answered said they need to be changed every year not 3 months. The service manager refused me a refund and whoever worked on my car didn’t even take pictures of my old filters to show me they were dirty. The service manager told me that when the person comes in tomorrow he will show me my filters like what???! Why would you keep dirty filters, they can literally show me any car filters and say it’s mine. This place is literally a joke 😂. Also last time they put synthetic oil in my car and this time they used regular oil. I definitely learned my lesson and will never come back.

The service manager, Jeffrey Casey, was very helpful and acquiring a new battery. He gave me the details of the battery the estimated costs and the time it would take to be installed. I truly appreciated his patient manner and his polite nature.

The worse place ever! Only place open on a Sunday and they never have any available time for a quick tire change. Trash I would never give this place any money.

I just had an oil change done and the service was excellent. The mechanic was very friendly and thorough with his inspection report of my truck. He actually spoke to me directly about my truck whereas my previous visits I would only see the mechanic drop my keys off at the register and walk away.

Went in for oil change on 11/29/24. Had an appointment was seen right away. Was also advised needed new tires and alignment. However the gentleman who I believe is the Manager was very informative and nice at telling me my bill would be $1K! Nonetheless the service was quick (minus me not getting the tires today). Will come back.

Made an 0830 appointment and dropped my vehicle off at 0815. Gentleman at counter verified appointment and work to be completed (oil change and front brakes). Told us an hour to an hour and a half. Within 30 minutes we got a text summary of things they suggest I have done to vehicle, so I believed it work was underway. 1045 I called to check on progress as it was 2-1/2 hours since it was dropped off. Representative told me they couldn't do brakes because they could not get tires off. Was informed they would do oil change and call me back. 30 minutes later I get a call saying that I can pick up vehicle but the oil change was NOT done because they couldn't remove drain plug. So vehicle was in their possession for 3 hours after appointment time and had no work done.

Two days to change brakes. Parts sent to wrong store, car sitting in lot for over an hour before service begins, wasn't told about the parts till 2 hours past then had to wait for parts to arrive. 4 hours later it done. Was told would be done before 11am, was there at 9am it's past 1pm. Not happy with today's visit at all. Seems like parts are never there Or delivered to wrong place.

I went to this shop to change my tires and waited for over 6 hours. At the end of the day, they told me that they had hired a student to work and he didn't know how to do the job. I would have to pick up the car the next day. That's what happened. I went to pick up the car the next day and they had simply broken the machine that moves the driver's seat. When I asked them, they were extremely rude and impolite, saying that it was none of their business. Now I ask myself: how can I leave a new car, which is working perfectly, just to change the tires, and they want to give me the car with the seat completely removed and locked? This is unacceptable!

Pessima, Fiquei 4 horas aguardando pela troca de 2 pneus , cheguei as 10 e saí às 14 horas , isso por a loja estava vazia, muita falta de comprometimento em relação ao valor tão alto cobrado pelo trabalho, não recomendo e nunca mais volto neste local

Stay away unless you want to waste your time. I came back after making an appointment so they can finished what they started but they could care less. Now I’m going to dispute all the charge and go somewhere else! Be respectful to your customers time!

Bad experience and bad customer service from the manager and staff and they didn’t respect customers’s time. I will not come here anymore even they will do it free for me. I will recommend my family and friends to not come here also.

I scheduled my state inspection service appointment the day before and they took my car in for the service as scheduled. The tech was friendly, prompt, and thorough with an explanation of the inspection, for which the car passed.

On 8/19 my car broke down in the Bustleton Ave shopping center in front of Pep Boys service center. Jeffrey was at the front desk and decided that since trying to jump to my battery wouldn’t work, it “must be the starter.” Andrew M was the technician, and when I received his inspection report, none of the codes that showed up indicated anything about a starter issue. Unfortunately, it was not the starter, as my car shut off on me while I was driving just 5 days later. When I finally got the vehicle back to my house, I called Pep Boys and explained the situation. The woman on the phone told me she’d get Jeffrey; after 15 minutes on hold, I hung up and tried again - this time no greeting, they just picked up and put my call on hold again. I tried a 3rd time, and same thing. The next day I was leaving for vacation and had to rent a vehicle, on top of the $600+ I spent with PepBoys for a part I didn’t even need, to safely get to my destination. I took my car to my Ford dealership when I returned from vacation, and they discovered the issue was actually a blown #9 fuse and bad purge valve. My car has not broken down since Ford serviced it. For the past month I’ve called Pep Boys regarding this issue and have been told a manager reviewed my case (#154026) and will call me - I’ve still have never heard back from anyone. I’ve also emailed them at least 2 times and those have gone unanswered as well. The same day, there was an older woman who came in just minutes after me with the same issue, her car wouldn’t start. Jeffrey said that was a starter issue as well; also before her car was even inspected/put to a code reader. Coincidence, or were starters a sales push during that time? Considering no one has had the decency to return my calls or emails, I suspect either a guilty conscience or willful ignorance. I’m currently filing formal complaints with various entities.

Horrible. No point of making an appointment because your service won’t be done until hours later, they honor walk ins before appointment times, and they over book appt times. Got different information from each employee. Had an appt at 8am, arrived on time and service still not started at 845am. Employee informed me the workers don’t see appt times until the same morning causing them to take walk ins first and/or over book. Makes no sense. A big waste of time.

NEVER AGAIN! YOU COULDN'T GIVE ME A FREE TIRE TO COME BACK! Checked my car in at 3pm for 1 tire change. Was told it would be at least 1-2 hours. It was busy so I accepted that. At 5pm my car remained sitting up on the lift untouched. Asked how much longer was told like 30 more minutes. 7pm my car was still on the lift untouched. 7;45 they tell me they can't get the tire off and could I leave it overnight or come back in the morning. 5 HOURS LATER I left without a new tire and had to stop to get air just to get home. If I could give ZERO stars I would. But guarantee I'll never be back and I'll never recommend anyone to go there.

I rarely post reviews but I've never experienced such terrible service in any business ever. I booked a time online for 4pm today. The guy takes my key and says it might take a little bit. One hour later they have not even looked at my car or given me a price. I just took my key and I'm leaving. If you can't serve me just say that, don't waste my time like this.

Worse experience at this location, waited 2 hours for an oil change and they came back to me saying we dont got the oil and filter for your car, well thanks for letting me know after 2 hours
