I recently stopped by to have my tire patched, and the entire team was amazing from the moment I walked in, until I left. Hailey and Jake were especially helpful even though everyone I came contact with was amazing!

Very professional business from the front counter to the employees in the shop. I could not have been more pleased with the service. I had 4 new tires done, and Justin, the tech, was so friendly and very knowledgeable. I will be taking my car to them from now on.

The folks at the Pep Boys on Capital Blvd are the best! They repaired previous work done at the Triangle Town Center location that was done incorrectly ( plugging a tire). They repaired my tire properly and spoke with the manager at the other store to let her know what happened and secured me a refund for the work done incorrectly. The Capital Blvd team are professionals and really care about providing outstanding customer service! I will be going back and recommend them to anyone looking for fair and honest auto repai and service. Thanks again for all you did!

They are so helpful here! All I needed was a state inspection so I went to the Jiffy Lube across the street...I was told that the individual who completes inspections was on break and that I should come back tomorrow. A bit strange but I'm not even going to pretend to understand this industry so I just looked up the nearest alternative and BOOM, Pep Boys came up right across the street. I just bought a house minutes away so they have gained a customer for life. Everyone was so friendly and helpful! Thank you Pep Boys!

I made an appointment for an inspection. When I walked in, I was ignored. When I told them I had an appointment, they didn't seem to know what I was talking about. When I asked how long it would take, they only would tell me "not long" It took over an hour for a simple safety check. Front desk was gruff and rude. The waiting room is disgusting. Chairs are all torn up, it's cramped and it looks like it hasn't been cleaned since the store was opened. Would not recommend.

I stopped in today on my way home from work cause I noticed my tmps light was on. The guy at the front checked it to make sure there wasn't a nail or something in it. He had a tech check the air and it was low. They put air in it for me and I was out the door. They were nice and helpful! I'd come back for repairs if needed! (: Thank you!

Got tires and alignment on August 27. Discovered damaged rim while washing vehicle next day. Pep Boys had it repaired at Auto Recon Pros. On September 26 had NC inspection done at BMW of Raleigh, 29 miles of driving later, all four wheels out of alignment. Back at Pep Boys getting another alignment. Michele at front desk very professional and helpful, but technicians seem questionable. Had new alignment finished within one hour. Given alignment report( none provided with initial alignment). I’m satisfied that I’ve been treated fairly, although not impressed with having to deal with getting rim repairs and proper alignment. I’d not known about that if I hadn’t had the vehicle into BMW of Raleigh.

Had a great experience here thanks to Michele, David, Jake and Patrick. These folks made sure I had the information I needed about my vehicle, and the turnaround time was impressive. I'll be coming back to this location again, and I recommend it if you're in the area!

Horrible horrible place. The people at the service desk will rip you off and do not care about their customers or employees. WATCH OUT!! Especially if you have a car either a rental like hertz or enterprise! THEY DO WORK THAT IS NOT NEEDED ON VEHICLES!! Especially on hertz vehicles. HERTZ and All Other rentals and regular customers, DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE. Manager will lie to your face, try to fast talk you and make it seem like it's you. All while recommending things that are not needed. DO NOT BRING ANY VEHICLES HERE

Originally took my car to Hendrick Chevrolet to have basic service oil change and tire rotation, was told that they were unable to rotate my tires because I needed to replace all 24 lug nuts because they were swollen, my husband told me to take the car back to Pep Boys on Capital Boulevard which is where I bought my tires from and they installed the tires for me. Took the vehicle to Pep Boys on Capital Boulevard spoke with Jake who rotated the tires, and said that my lug nuts were fine they were in good shape nothing was wrong with them. I am thankful for Jake and the fellows for not taking advantage of me as a female. I think anybody wanting to have good quality service, I highly recommend Pep Boys on Capital Boulevard I found them to be full of Integrity , and very professional and they did a great job for me!!

Had an oil change and tire rotation. Upon getting the car back I checked the tires (which I had marked) and they were not rotated. Now I have questions whether the oil change was done (I hope so).

These people are the worst. I went there on 08/21/24 to get an estimate for installation of a camshaft position sensor and oxygen sensor. I didn't mind the wait because they were clearly understaffed. But when I got my estimate they wanted 1,000.00 for installation. The service tech couldn't find on the computer what a camshaft position sensor was. Then I was told by the manager that I should take my car to a mechanic that specializes in imports. The mechanic that usually does the work was able to provide me a quote for nearly half their price. DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE. THEY WILL OVERCHARGE YOU!!

Went in to get a tire patch, and I waited much longer than told it would be. Finally got my truck, and now I either have a broken sensor, or they just dont care about proper tire inflation. Also, when a person says they are in a rush, it is not the time to take the vehicle for a test drive down the road.

In terms of tires pep boys has always been the way to go for me. But mechanical services….thats a completely different story, they rlly tried to gouge $1500 outa me without even addressing the actual issue. Talked abt how when they go in to do the repair there might be more damage but they’re unsure rn. So I went and talked to a trusted mechanic friend and they said a completely different repair was needed then pep boys. So to any parents, teach your kids about cars so they don’t get gouged for money by these kinds of places.

This business is taking money from the hard workers in the community. I spent almost 3 hours there. They charge me $35 to change the front turn signal. They said it took 12 minutes to installed the front signal and charge $20 for labor ( $15 for parts). We all know it didn't take 12 minutes and they are thieves. Ladies save your hard earn money, go to auto zone and buy bulb $7.99 with free installation. I would give no star it was an option.

If I hadn't purchased a 3 yr/36,000 mile alignment plan I would never use Pep Boys again and definitely won't use the one on Capital Blvd in Raleigh, NC. Clearly it doesn't matter if you have a scheduled appointment or not. My car was basically held hostage for 8 hours for an oil change, tire rotation and alignment. I incurred extra expenses for a Lyft to pick up my vehicle (missed 2 people who could have driven me to pick up my car!) because when I called at 1 pm my car was just being put on the lift (my appointment was at 9:30 am). At 4 pm I was told it would be another hour! When I arrived and requested an explanation I was told another guest waited 2.5 hours...Uhm was that supposed to make me feel better? I waited 8 hours for my vehicle to have standard services!!! I also asked for a manager over Joel and he told his associate to tell me to call the General or District manager Brian at 1-800-PEP-BOYS (You can't get a human on the phone). Nice work team at Pep Boys - Capital Blvd, Raleigh NC. Way to service your clients.

As with most repair shops, the prices for parts and repairs is exaggerated. They charge you to figure out the problem but do not fold that cost into the cost of actually fixing it. I do feel they tried to "get over on me" because I'm a woman. Nothing seems urgent to them. My car was ready for 15 minutes and no one said anything to me. I had to go to the desk and ask.
