Made an online purchase for 4 tires to be installed and alignment done at the Petersburg location. Two hours before appointment time guy calls, no tires and alignment machine is down. He calls Midlothian location and they say they can do it. I say for the price we were quoted? “Yes.” Janie won’t honor the price. Bad attitude. Thankfully Emmanuel honors the tire price, but alignment machine just happens to go down. Says Wistar location can do it. Go there. Serenity says $110. $6 more than Petersburg. Ask if we can get it down to honor online purchase. She said it didn’t happen at her store, not her problem.

By far one of the BEST experiences I’ve had when dealing with an Auto Shop. EVERYONE was friendly, not just one or two employees and Emmanuel & Jamie are very knowledgeable, making me feel like a part of the PB family as well as a student eager to learn about my vehicle. I walked away with the peace of mind in knowing that what I asked and paid for, I was getting (nothing more, nothing less) as well as prices that are actually VERY reasonable. I was informed of options to help pay for my repairs and really feel well taken care of. I end this with a SINCERE THANK YOU to everyone involved in helping make this experience as wholesome and effective as possible. Great Job PepBoys but especially great job to my Tech who helped stopped the noise Conor the Corolla was making and Jamie for helping me feel 10x more comfortable with the experience as well as the great information shared with me about payment options but more importantly (only because he set the tone) thank you to Emmanuel for setting up a successful Alley-Hoop of amazing customer service for your team! You all certainly have a repeat customer in me AND I’m running to spread the good news! Take your car to PepBoys on Midlothian Turnpike in RVA!!!!

I spent over $500 on front rotors (no break pads) they did my break pads about 3 months ago..$35 shop fee..$156.50 labor fee.."1416783"(guess pads) labor fee🤷🏾‍♂️ = -$53.49. Plus a $50 coupon & it still was $533? I can't do these name brand commercial services no more. Everyone out to get ridiculously paid. I really don't believe the cashier put my $50 coupon through. If so, where on my receipt👇🏾 would it be located? Won't be back, got me for over $1k in all in less than 4 months. Where's honest George at..the rest of these jokers idk about. #My experience.

This store is very unprofessional. I took my car in for a simple inspection and oil change. They first called me with the required items to get authorization. 2 hours later they called me again saying that they won't be able to pass me for inspection because I need my whole high beam replaced. They were able to price out the high beam since they conveniently have an auto store next to them but I refused their services because this was not told to me up front and because they always gauge their prices ( a lesson I learned last year). I decided to get this fixed on my own but saw that they did not even indicate which high beam needed replacement on the receipt. I called the store back, and they didn't have any notes on which part needed replacement and told me to call back on friday when the guy who did the inspection was in. I waited a whole week to get a part number just to find out that the guy who did the inspection doesn't even know what part and that I could bring the car in again and they could tell me the part. The rejection sticker is good for 15 days, after that I have to get it re-inspected. I have no idea how long this part is going to take to come in and we are even coming up on the holidays. On top of that I asked them to check my tires because my tire pressure light was on, they said they checked it but when I went to turn on my car the light was still on. the receptionist GUESSED that there must be a malfunction. they didn't even bother figuring it out or telling me about it when they had my car FOR THE WHOLE DAY! This is just completely unprofessional and inconsiderate service. you are honestly better going to a mom pop shop since pep boys like to gauge prices and labor. the same wheel they sold me last year, i could've bought at a momo pop shop for $500.00 less, but thats on me because i didnt see through their dishonest service. Ridiculous ! Avoid at all costs and will never recommend this place to anyone !

Was unexpectedly stranded due to a tire issue in Richmond. The Fleer Management Company sent me to Pep Boys. What a great experience with Ken at Pep Boys. They got me squared away quickly and efficiently. Great customer service. I definitely recommend them.

Emanuel was great! He took care of my tire replacement and handled all the customers coming in in a timely fashion. I was impressed with the way he handled each customer and the phone calls seeing that he was working the desk by himself.

Such a wonderful experience! They were able to get me in within 24 hours and fixed me right up. I had torn up my tire from a pot hole and they fixed it in no time. Ken even made sure to call around and get my brake pads on the same day so I wouldn't have to miss work the next day. Truly the best service!!!!

My first time going to Pep Boys was for a brake issue. When I arrived they had already closed for the day. Janie was standing outside when I pulled up and she heard the condition of my brakes and was courteous and professional enough to check my car in so I could leave it overnight to get the work done the next day. She said she didn't want me to continue to drive with bad brakes. Janie and Mickey also helped me find the coupons I needed to help me reduce some of the cost. She was a great help to me and she is a huge benefit to Pep Boys.

So I needed tire services and came here , when I tell you that the lady who helped me out was one of the rudest, most sarcastic people I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with in my life...I got home after speaking with her AGAIN regarding my wheel lock key (which she was also sarcastic as well on the call). So much to the point that I immediately got on the internet to look for alternatives, I found out that Discount Tire will match any price and I called PepBoys back and said DON'T TOUCH MY TRUCK...ironically enough I got the only polite employee apparently on the phone when I made that call, so I was nice to him about it. Moral of the story....DON'T DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE. Also: This isn't my first RUDE encounter with their employee's. Trust me, I will never come back here.

This Pep Boys is always very helpful and has a great selection of car cleaners. Has great mechanics who have fixed every problem with my car. I will always go to Pep Boys for everything my car needs and any mechanical problems and any routine maintenance. This Pep Boys is the best Pep Boys ever!

First of all sad customer service Ken doesn’t know how to multitask the slowest site of pep boys site I’ve ever been to and while he was calling cars in for service while ignoring customer bcuz he has either color issue or he thinks he’s above everyone smdh
