I tried for an hour to call them, but they never answer the phone. Seems like they don't want our business. This is a non-holiday, at 1:30 in the afternoon on Monday.

Kendal, the manager was very rude whenvI brought to her attention that the website hours are incorrect. They say close at 7, but the store actually closes at 6. I was not able to get my car. She indicted, not her problem,that's for corporate. Told me, I should read the sign on the door, which is in small print and continues to go back and forth with me in front of all the cust, trying to embarrasses me. A simple, "I'm so sorry for your inconvenience. I'll let corporate know about that" instead she tried to make it my problem and told me to contact corporate. I did call corporate and also filed a complaint because it's a serious issue when your website says one thing but the store is practicing something totally different. As long as Kendal works there, I will not be using Pep Boys!

Took my car to Pep Boys for an oil change. I had my husband follow me because there always is a wait to have your oil changed. To my surprise they had us in and out within 15 minutes. I will definitely be back for my next oil change.

I recently had a frustrating experience at Pep Boys that I feel compelled to share. My car key was stuck, and it wouldn’t turn in the ignition. When I called Pep Boys, they assured me that they could fix the issue if I brought the car in. I had the car towed to their location. After four days, my husband and I visited the store to check on the car. To our surprise, they hadn’t started working on it yet, but we were told we needed to pay $350 for a battery replacement and diagnostics. Since we didn’t have any other options at the time, we agreed and left the car for repairs. They kept my car for ten days, and then called to inform me that their technician refused to work on it and couldn’t fix the problem. I was forced to tow my car to another shop, only to find out that Pep Boys had damaged parts of my car during their work. Throughout this process, there was no apology or accountability from the staff. I had called the manager several times, and while they assured me the car was being worked on, nothing was resolved. This experience has been extremely disappointing. I not only lost time and money but also had to deal with additional repairs due to their mishandling. The guys at this shop were amazing! Even though their shop was busy and full of customers they were friendly and personable. They helped me with a 120 point pre-purchase inspection and had the car completed in about 1 hour. Thanks to their hard work and attention to detail I was able to purchase a used car with peace of mind. I would highly recommend these guys to service my vehicle again. Thanks Pepboys!

3.5 hours to change tires with a reservation, and never mentioned how long I'd be waiting so that I could go get food or anything.

I am very happy with my experience at Pepboys Northgate. Kendall, was on it. She does her job efficiently, with a great attitude and smile to go with it. Kendall didn't try and pressure me into nonsense services like other lube and oil places do. Quick and easy. Highly recommend!

I came from Arden location because they don’t do Uber/Lyft inspection fyi. So they sent me to Northgate location to see Kendall the manager. She was kind, helpful and professional. I was in and out in about 15 mins on a Saturday. Recommend this location!!

We called ahead and set up an appointment. Kendall remembered us and set everything up to get a trailer hitch on our vehicle. They were a little understaffed, but they acknowledged it and did the best they could in their situation. Honest work is something I can respect!

2 hour wait to plug two tires. Every person coming in was told the same. The manager didn't know how it got over booked, but there it was, overbooked. No discount offered.

Kendra and Sophia were great! Looked up my account, very solutions orientated, accommodating, ans friendly. Also a great deal for an oil change with tire rotation INCLUDED! Very happy and highly suggest going there.

I had an appointment for 12pm to fix a nail in a tire. We dropped the car off at 11am. Called at 3pm to check on the status of the car since we haven’t heard from them and they said the car would be ready by 5pm. I saw on my Tesla app that they didn’t even start on my car until after 5, then they called after 6pm (closing time) saying the car was done. When I asked why it took so long to get to my car they said that they went in order of appointments and they made it “VERY clear” that they were behind and what the wait was going to be like, which was not true. Saying you’re backed up is not the same as, we aren’t going to get to your 12pm appointment for 6 hours, especially for an appointment that only takes 20-30 minutes to complete. If this is what it was like for my 12pm appointment, I wonder what happened to the appointments after mine since they “went in order of appointments.” Just don’t go here. Don’t do it. The service sucked and they didn’t even apologize for it.

I made an appointment during my hour break at work to get my tire patched. I show up 15 minutes early and when I asked how long it would take they said an hour because there is a car in front of me. What is the point of having an appointment?

They were really great that they replaced my tire with an hour from closing. Not cool-they left the spare in the back of my car.
