Extremely professional. Let me know my car was leaking and was fully prepared to take care of it. She’s purring like a kitten now. My oil change time was in and out faaaast. Idk that I’ll go to any car place ever again for car work. Not just oil changes… car work. I super appreciate you guys. They need more days off. Not that I could tell by the work ethic or anything though. GIVE THEM DAYS OFF!

I gotten a flat tire on the way to drop my daughter off to school the other morning so I went to PEP BOYS to have my tire changed and also my oil changed. The manager Mike is super friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The auto mechanic that serviced my car, CAM was phenomenal, very nice and personable, and was also extremely quick and efficient. I had a very pleasant experience at that location. I will definitely be going back and referring others.

I’m never someone that posts reviews, but I had to shout out the guys at this Pep Boys location. As a woman, taking my car in is always a toss up and I often prepare myself for condescending tones and judgement. Michael and his team were the kindest, most informative, respectful, and non-judgemental folks I ever met. Talking with Michael throughout the process was like talking to a family friend. I had procrastinated on getting my brakes done until one day it started grinding horribly on my way home from work. I called first thing in the morning and Michael answered I immediately felt at ease taking it in. Once the initial inspection was over, Michael called me and walked me through the cost, talked to me about my oil and other inspection items. He was so kind and compassionate when I panicked a bit and said I’d have to call him back to see what I could afford. He even made sure I knew about a coupon that was online (and pulled it up himself when I came to pick up my car later that day!) In addition to the brakes and rotors, they also ended up fixing a slow leak I had in my tire and giving me a LONG overdue oil change. Michael also made sure to walk me through the lifetime warranty on the brake pads. You could tell he cared so much when he walked me through the lifetime warranty, like he knew that it would be a huge benefit to a procrastinator like me haha. I will bring my car for anything else I have in the future. I can’t recommend them enough. Huge huge thank you to Michael and his team!

The guys at the store were awesome, they replaced my car battery and the price was less than 1/2 of the car shop down the street. Everyone was nice, service was quick and the price was right!

This location on 3 different occasions have beat competitors' pricing by 100s of dollars. They didn't try to upsell us services we didn't need. I have been extremely satisfied with the counter service, and on 2 occasions they were able to do same day service because we would have been stranded. I am very grateful for their integrity, and they have a lifelong customer with our family now.

I had to be jump started one morning, so I went by my regular mechanic and they didn't hacmve time to test battery or replace. But I called Pep Boys and they could get me right in, no waiting. I will come back!

Came here for an oil change only, turns out I needed new rooters and brakes the works.. All I have to say is the Mechanic, ‘Cameron and Micheal were absolutely amazing! They truly cared about my safety knowing I had a long drive and needed the work done asap.. great men! Thanks guys!

Went in to get my battery changed in Oct. of 2023 and had a good experience until this past weekend when my battery die and it died so hard I was not able to jump start it. AAA had to use their heavy duty battery box to get it started and after it running for close to 30 min when I shut the car off it was still dead. The battery was so dead that I couldn't even turn on my hazard lights. turns out then they had changed my battery previously they had replaced it with a lead acid battery and not a AMG battery as the manufacture requires. I left my car with them for an entire day. costing my $80 in ubers to get to and from work. When I showed up at the end of the day although they had attempted to jump it (unsuccessfully) they hadn't even looked to see if they had the correct battery in stock. as well as left my car unlocked in the parking lot in an area that is not the safest. The best they could offer was to provide me with a free battery that was installed in the parking lot by one of the advanced auto parts store workers that I had to help quite a bit. Over all it was a very frustrating experience. in the end I did get the new battery for free. But this entire problem could have been avoided if the correct battery was sold to me last year.

I recently had an unexpected breakdown on a scorching 110-degree day, and it seemed like my day couldn't get any worse. However, my experience at Pep Boys in Rancho Cordova completely turned things around and left me with a renewed faith in exceptional customer service. Upon arriving at the shop, I was greeted by a woman at the counter who couldn't have been nicer. Her warm and friendly demeanor immediately put me at ease, despite the frustrations of the situation. She listened attentively to my concerns and assured me that they would do everything possible to help. The manager, whose name unfortunately escapes me, went above and beyond to accommodate me on what was undeniably a hot and busy day. Despite their garage being filled with vehicles, he took pity on me and my terrible day, having already driven for 8 hours. Instead of leaving me to wait indefinitely, he personally worked on my car to ensure that I could get back on the road and reach my destination by the end of the day. I was amazed by the efficiency and effectiveness of their service. In less than two hours, my car was repaired, and I felt like I had made friends in the process. The personal attention and care I received from both the woman at the counter and the manager made me feel valued as a customer and turned what could have been a frustrating experience into a positive one. I cannot recommend Pep Boys in Rancho Cordova enough. Their outstanding customer service, even on a busy and sweltering day, is a testament to their commitment to going above and beyond for their customers. If you find yourself in need of automotive assistance in the area, this shop should be your top choice. They not only provide quality service but also treat you like family.

I took my car in about a year ago for alignment service. While I was waiting in the waiting room, I noticed the technician was driving my car with something hanging underneath the car and being dragged on the ground. I soon noticed a big piece of undercar shield at the shop floor. The technician eventually noticed the issue (probably by the noise) and took the car on jack again and started using zip ties to put things together. I went to the office and asked them to investigate. Eventually the technician and office worker both started making any excuses they could, from the manufacturer's fault to these days materials that they use to build cars! At the pick of their irresponsibility and rudeness, the office worker said that my car is not a "Lamborghini" (the office worker's exact word) and the damage is underneath the car and won't be important at all! Fast forward, I got in touch with Pep Boys customer service and they got me in contact with store manager (named Anthony). Long story short, in the past year Anthony did any trick that he could to make me too frustrated to follow up on the issue. In the past several months , he is not even communicating anymore.

Fresh and D are fantastic. Brought my 4runner in because toyota told me the rotors needed to be resurfaced and they let me know they were just fine! Didn’t even charge me for the inspection. How rare is that to find a place that’s NOT trying to overcharge you?? will definitely be back!
