Took my 2017 Lexus RX 350 in for breaks and oil change. Left with an electric parking break malfunction and only front breaks done. They didn’t know how to fix the issue and still charged me full price. They didn’t do back breaks because they messed up my sensor, causing the malfunction and couldn’t get my back tires off to do breaks. Now I have to go to my dealer and can’t afford that, which is why I didn’t go to Lexus in the first place but to them.

The manager was very helpful in finding ALL THE ISSUES with my car so I went and got my truck too. The manager inspired trust and confidence that he knew what he was doing at a reasonable price. I will be talking my vehicle's to him in the future.

I ordered 4 tires online and paid for them, then made an appointment online with Arden Fair Pep Boys to install them the next day (system showed they were in stock). I called in the morning and told them I only needed 2 tires, and they said they could change that when we came in later in the day for the appointment. When we arrived for appointment, we discovered the tires had not arrived yet from the warehouse (apparently in-stock on the website means that the tires are either in the store or will be delivered to the store). It was explained to me that since I had made the appointment online the night before, the warehouse did not have enough time to get the tires delivered. The staff person kept the order open, and sure enough, the next day the tires arrived and they called me to come in. Installation went great, and they changed my order to 2 tires per our request. High marks to the actual store for their customer service and installation. Process change needed on the corporate side to make sure to NOT let a customer book an appointment on a specific date UNLESS the product is delivered by then!

I scheduled an appointment for 9am and arrived 15 min early. At first I only saw 1 employee working on a car and he acknowledged me saying someone will be with me shortly . When the other employee arrived, I could see he was in a really bad mood. He didn’t even greet me or nothing. He asked for my keys left and came back and wanted me to sign the pad at the register for the labor that going to be done. I was so confused on what was going on because he didn’t even explain anything that was going to be done to my car until I asked him. Then he answered in a very bothered tone of voice. I asked him if there was anyone else that could help me and he answered no. So I asked him to give me my keys and left. I did let him know his attitude was bad before leaving. I had read the reviews before coming in and it has so many good ones , but my experience was awful. I won’t be coming back if he’s around.

I’ve been going to Pep Boys and bringing all my vehicles there for Repairs for over a decade although recently taking my BMW there for brake repair and new routers found them to be extremely expensive. For an example just the rear axle rotors and brake pads came out to over $800 and when I checked the invoice I paid over $575 for just the rotors which is ridiculous!!! I will not be taking my vehicle back there I will find another mechanic to do repair repairs in the future because of the high pricing. Just for your information I found quality rotors on eBay with ceramic brake pads for less than $200 for a complete brake kit!

Pep Boys website advertises Military Discount and the information is also posted on their store front, however was refused the discount, was told that coorporate announced it was no longer granting the discount. False Advertising!!!!!

The Pep Boys on Arden Way has been servicing my car the past two years after I relocated to California. They have been amazing, thorough, and very friendly. Also, can't go wrong with a free tire rotation with each oil change. I highly recommend them.

One wheelstud was strip out during installation, seem to have been put back on by force, the stud was bald out unusable.

The store manager was terrible, he didn't respond to me for more than 5 minutes and was busy with his papers. Even when I left, he didn’t ask why I came.
