Took my vehicle there on a Sunday morning without an appointment after having a nightmare at a different shop the day before. Michael was super friendly and they fit me in during the day and took care of the issue with a reasonable fee. I would recommend making an appointment but it is not necessary or required but I am really happy with everyone encountered there and will be back.

My daughter Andrea Soto bought life alignment deal few years ago. She has getting this service in different places like Houston, Austin and Mcallen. Her car is a Toyota Corolla 2017. And She needs this service now in San Antonio. Surprise Pep Boys does not have any record on the system. And now She can not do anything. This is really frustrated, because this is Pep Boys issue. She has to pay for alignment again. Can you believe that? Finally, She has to call to customer service and try to find a solution. But, She has not receive any information about this matter.

Absolutely outstanding service! I needed an oil change and tire rotation. Jake greeted me early on a Saturday morning, told me how long it would take and the cost. I went for a walk run, came back and Gonzalo had just finished the maintenance. I always look for a place I can call the only spot for these kinds of services and I am glad I found this place. I will continue to come here. Thanks guys!

Nothing is wrong with the staff but why do you post tires online that's available but don't have it in stock at the store? Whats the point of me choosing a tire and an appointment if you don't have the tire in stock. Waste of my time.

Took my truck in for brake inspection due to noise. I got excellent customer service! Ryan was very professional and thorough with inspection results. His repair estimate was very reasonable. It was so reasonable that I decided to get a complete brake job at a fair price. Extremely great service!

Called on a Sunday, dropped off my vehicle at 9:30am and job was completed by 11:30am… same day service is one of the reasons i go with Pep Boys. excellent customer service

If they had a negative number i would definitely give them that, this is the PEPboys on Bandera. For a replacement hose in my air conditioner in car to take 6 hours plus is unacceptable. I even made an appointment at 8 AM, from what I could see there were a hand full of customers in the 6 hours plus, so far, I’m still here waited. I felt the more I asked how much longer, the more time was added. I am paying off their credit card and never coming back to any of the PepBoys. I know some of these part are time intensive but an all day is ridiculous. I am still here in the shop waiting while I write this review, so it could possibly be longer. Don’t do what I did, and give them your business, it’s not work it. Don’t expect any empathy from the employees, it will just upset you more. I am scared to get my care back and it’s worst or doesn’t work like it should. The killer is I am paying all that money. NEVER AGAIN! PEPBoys keep in mind, word of mouth goes a long ways you should do better!

The bandera location is definitely a great place to go for all your car needs always answer the phone easy to schedule appointments very professional any job needed is done swiftly l made this my go to place for all my car needs also refer them to my family

We take our cars to Pep Boys for all of our maintenance and small repair work, new tire installations, A/C check and recharge, windshield sprayer and wiper repairs, head light lens rejuvenation, etc. We have three cars of different makes. They have done an excellent job of doing the work at reasonable cost. Their staff is professional and courteous. I strongly recommend them.

took my car in, radiator was leaking, the radiator was fixed, no problem, they had no problem taking payment for services, advisor "said" that everything checked out good, we tested the car, everything is good to go, so tell me why, when i drove down the street to the traffic light that my car have the same issue. IF the car was tested, and driven, more than to the traffic light that was not even a quater mile away, and still over heated, took it back, advisor took a sample, not sure if it was from my car, and said that there is another issue, there is a crack in the engine block somewhere, well so much for testing it car, and who knows if that happened when driving the car back to the shop.

I made an appointment online for an 8am Saturday morning. My car needed a battery check and ultimately, a replacement. I was in and out by 8:30, new battery installed. Waiting room was clean and comfortable.

I love Pep Boys because I'm a girl and they can't jack me around in prices. Learned my lesson long ago. If I can't go to my dealership or its too expensive? I go to Pep Boys for parts and or service.

Took my wife's Honda Odyssey in due to AC blowing hot air. Compressor needed to be replaced. Went to pick up the vehicle with a 10% discount from the website. At checkout I'm told by the manager that he needs to call this in because he is only authorized to process 5% discount coupons. Why would you post coupons on your website that cannot be processed at your locations? So he calls it in and he is put on hold for ten minutes just to get somebody on the line. Then it's alot of back and forth just to process the coupon with customers waiting behind me. It took 40 minutes just to check out. Two days later I had to take it back for the same issue. This was at 1230 pm and did not here back for the rest of the day. From 6pm to 630pm I called three times with no answer and the store closes at 8pm. Next day I get a call letting me know the vehicle was ready. Turns out a defected compressor was installed. When asked why I wasn't notified about the issue and the unaswered phone calls all I was told "I don't know" without a single apology.
