BEWARE******** Summary Time Line follow 11/26/24* Still Waiting on Parts 11/12/24* Still Waiting on parts 11/01/24 * waiting on parts 10/21//24 * vehicle Back at Pep Boys to fix faulty Repairs made. They agreed to fix the faulty repairs but they have to order parts. They said there is no telling how long it would take. 9/26/24. * Initial reviews made -back in September 2024 . On 9/26/24 Finally contacted by Pep Boys and told to bring veh. Back in to fix their repairs 8/15/24 * In for tune up/ Repairs (50 miles later/ veh.Fails due to faulty repairs) * Detail review follows I was called last week and told to bring the vehicle back to see what they can do. Vehicle in their hands as of yesterday. Stay tuned for developing outcome and possible review upgrade. 2months later nothing done! Read on. Took my Vehicle here almost 2 months ago on 08/15/2024 . I reviewed here on google (Read Below), sent all information they asked of me and as 10/11/2024 Pepboy Social is yet to contact me. It seems like a waste of time. Read below Original review!!!! BEWARE!!!!!!!!!! Took my vehicle here for a tune up, oil change. They would also perform a comprehesive inspection and advise me of any other findings. In addition to tune up and oil change, their comprehensive inspection recommended I replace all engine mounts and a Rear Pinion Seal. After approximately $2600 and about 50 miles driven, a loud rattling noise coming from the rear prompted me to bring the vehicle back. Few days later I was told the vehicle is ready for pick up. I was told the seal they replaced the first time was twisted and pinched and oil leaked out. They would replace it again and fill it up with Gear oil. They also recommend I replace the Differential. As soon as I drove my vehicle out the shop it started making the noise again. In fact; it got worse. I would return to speak with the manager who was not there and left numerous messages for manager to please contact me to explore options; Since this vehicle did not make any rattling noise or gear play prior to this occurence. I'm still wondering why nothing was mentioned about this on the initial comprehensive inspection I payed for. Further, It mentioned nothing at all about any worn gears, gear play or a recommendation to replace the differaential. I feel Pep Boys drop the ball on this one. Dodging me may be ok with you but it can not stop my review. Way to go Pep Boys at Nacogdoches, thanks. Follw up Journal Below: Order= Last entry 1st.. 26 Sept 2024 I was contacted by Jose C. from Customer relations. Ref; Case opened. 24 Sept 2024 I responded to Pep Boys Owner more than a week ago with my contact information at the email he posted in his reply to this review. I will continue posting weekly follow ups to this review pending outcome stay tuned.

Check engine light was on in my daughter’s car. Wanted to be sure the car was safe for her to drive until we could get it to the dealership., where it was under warranty. JC was so helpful! He got us is in and out quickly!

I've been working on getting Ford F250 HD/All terrain tires. Rosie had found just what I needed for my truck on my budget and travel plans to northern Michigan Unfortunately I was unable to take advantage of her special deal of the day. Lucky for me "JC" was working when I finally got finished with an electrician working on a home issue. JC with calm and professional took his time to find me replaced tires for my trip. JC took care of everything from getting the tires to military discount for me. I'm very happy with the team work and attention to the customers. I'll continue to get tires from this Pep boys. Thank you

Got an oil change a couple of weeks ago and they were quick. Went back yesterday and they were awesome again. Staff is very friendly. JC is the best. They always treat us good and their normally very quick

Alignment went well. I did some DIY repair after getting an alignment from them. I needed another and they upheld the warranty period on the alignment even though I did the front end work.

Amazing customer service! John and his team are the best! I made a mistake and took my car to Take 5 for an oil change. The car started acting up immediately. The Take 5 team could not figure out what was wrong. Came to Pep Boys, and they were able to pinpoint the mistake immediately. They had my car up and running in no time. I will definitely be back for my future car needs. Thank you!!

The manager and Tony went above and beyond the call of duty. My husband is not well and can not drive at this time. The manager, Rosita Pacheco, came to pick me up and took me to pick up my car. When our second car needed service, Tony, came and picked it up and brought the car back to us. I call them our 2 angels. It is difficult for older people like my husband and myself and Rosita and Tony made it possible for is to get our cars in working condition. We have been get service at Pep Boys for years and plan to continue. Thank you, Robitaille and Tony and God bless you both.

This was my first time to Pep Boys and i was glad to find out that they were open so late. I had a low tire and wasn't sure if i was going to make it. I googled and found out that they were open till 8:00 pm. Thank you for your help.

AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE! My alternator went out half way through my cross country road trip on a Friday afternoon. I called around to 10+ dealerships/car shops. I was helped by JC who was amazing!! I went in for an inspection on Friday night and they ordered the part. My alternator was replaced and I was back on the road by 1pm the next day and it was HALF of what I was quoted by Christian Brothers Automotive!!!

John and his crew were amazing! My daughter's car wouldn't start after work, by the time we had it jump started it was 7:00 p.m. and we needed a battery. We went to this location because they are (luckily) open until 8:00 p.m. We walked in, without an appointment and were greeted by John who was very knowledgeable and friendly. He had the battery we needed in stock and it was replaced and ready to go before 8:00 p.m. He reminded us about the car's required calibration and offered to assist the next day if there were any issues. In a time when customer service is non-existent John and everyone at this location have it in spades!
