I went in for an oil change and everyone was extremely friendly. Halfway through, I got called over because the interior part of my front tires was about to split. I was given my options and had everything thoroughly explained to me by Edwin. As someone who knows essentially nothing about cars, I often feel like I'm being scammed or lied to when getting work done, but this was not the case at all. I want to give a huge thank you to both Edwin and Dom for their amazing customer service and for going above and beyond what was expected of them!

I came in needing new tires urgently with only an hour and a half before they closed. My tire blew and this location was the only place open near me. Johnathan was very helpful and was able to get my tires changed in a timely manner. I definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Very happy with the service and so grateful for the mechanic Josef. The price was what it was. I’m sure it wasn’t the most expensive nor the cheapest but yeah highly recommend. #FLwhite16soul

tried to rip me off, went to another mechanic and they said i didn’t need half the work they told me i needed. pep boys was going to charge me $750, only ended up paying $170 for everything. worst experience with a mechanic. condescending and terrible communication

I had a disgusting experience before I even left my car. I made sure my available credit was enough which it was when it was time to pick up the car I was quoted $1034.06 my available credit was not available according to their system. I called customer service they verified my available. Credit was indeed available the Pep Boys location said I did not have available credit so now I’m stuck at a Pep Boys in a state different from where I live. I was going to get tires put on my daughter’s car so she can make it back safely to her college campus, but I was unable to leave with the car because they said the balance was too high so they can’t let me leave with the car. I had nowhere to go. I don’t live in this area. I don’t know anyone in this area. I was only meeting my daughter. She has a friend That live in this area I’m unable to get the car and they said they would just lock it in the shop so what am I supposed to do? And how am I supposed to get home?

Brought my car in for service. Needed an alternator and battery. Knowing that the service and parts would be ridiculously expensive, and they were I at least thought I would get a good courtesy inspection that comes free with your service. I was told that the inspection was complete with no findings, and I would receive a text with a link to the inspection findings. Link showed that everything on the courtesy inspection was N/A. They actually did no inspection, and I suppose thought I wouldn't look at it. Place is a rip off!

I had a great experience here and received exceptional customer service from Fernando. He was professional, kind, and prompt in addressing any questions or concerns I had. The technician did a great job with my flat tire repair and alignment, and the service wasn’t too long of a wait. I’ll definitely be back if I need any more work done.

The best of the best , the crew at Pep boys at 67th & El Cajon BLV as soon as you walk in they greet you with a smile, from the Manager Fernando to Jeff the adviser and not to forget the Mechanic " Jason " who is the most important person when you drop off your car for repairs, watching Jason work on my car is like having the best Doctor , I give them 10 stars not 5

Hello! I want to leave a complaint and ask you to take action on customer service! Store address: 6714 El Cajon Blvd, San Diego, CA 92115. I booked an appointment a week in advance for 10 am. I needed to replace 2 tires and get a wheel alignment done. The car sat for 7 hours at the service station. It was my only day off, and I had plans with my family. I ended up having to cancel all plans and just wait for the technicians to finally finish my car in 7 hours!!! I think this is absurd! It’s not such a long procedure to keep my car there for so long! please take action and give me an answer!

Amazing customer service by Jeff and the Tech there. The dealership wanted to charge me almost $1000 for things my car didn’t need. These guys were honest and just did the necessary stuff. I am so thankful!

The "WORST SERVICE EVER" I brought my car in to get rotors and brake pads. They only did the front and said the back was okay. They had my car for way over 24 hours. When I picked up my car, it was WORST!! I told him it was still doing the same thing and he said I can leave it but the next day it's going to be swamped. I asked him did he test drive it and he said yes and he felt the rotors and it must be the rear. If that's the case why not fix the rear instead of the front!! Also charged almost $500 dollars. I will never go back there and they will NEVER touch any of my cars
