Dear hiring manager, You did well in hiriig your staff. Friendly outgoing & helpful employees! Zane was helpful with me regarding my brake light and other services . He is so knowledgeable and helpful I will continue to go to Oreileys for my auto parts needs and receive superb customer service .Also Isaiah was helpful as well. There are other staff that were helpful too, a tall gentleman..I like leaving a store feeling good about both my shopping experience and and the geuine helpfullness of the customer service that I receive !!

PAUL FROM PEP BOYS IS A LIFE SEND!!!! Saturday afternoon about 4:00 when someone pointed out that my passenger front tire had absolutely no tread and they were actually wires coming out of it I called around many places but it was only pep boys on Stevens Creek road that got us in ASAP they even were done early. The customer service was impeccable and the waiting area was very spacious and Uber clean as well as the bathroom. This is not usually the case at places where you get your car fixed. The man that wound up helping us over the phone and in person has worked there over 25 years. That must say something about this place and the integrity that they have. Since I'm new in town, I definitely will be bringing my car there if I have any problems and I would highly recommend them as opposed to any other tire place.

Alfredo was wonderful. From the moment I spoke to him on the phone to the completion of my tire installation in person, I give them an A+. Professional, kind and understood my needs and the urgency of getting the tires that I needed for my SUV. I have 4 cars and I will definitely buy tires from Pep Boys again. At some point a lower price doesn’t cover the time lost or the lack of communication to get routine maintenance done. I knew going into this Pep Boys is not a fast turn oil changer. However, 4 hr estimate with no communication is excessive. I even called for an Estimate time only to be out on hold for over 20min with no answer. I finally returned the store 6 hrs later to find the job done. My recommendation- Don’t ever go in and wait for the job to be done. Your appt time is meaningless. Always call to get the estimate, web site is not necessarily accurate. Don’t expect prompt service; always check the results before you leave. Ask to see the removed parts. Ask the rep to go over the report- they are usually rushed and will skip that part if you let them. Otherwise, the work I experienced was completed, fairly well.

Extortionate prices. Take your money somewhere else. Came in to get a tire swapped - cost was double what I found online. Came into get it installed and was told I needed front brake pads and rotors…nearly $600. Upon checking other options, I realized that I was over paying by nearly $350 for the parts being installed. You can find considerably cheaper parts from other sellers and I would have never agreed to the service had I looked into my options more carefully. Save yourself money, learn from my mistake, and buy the parts yourself..this place is an absolute ripoff.

I gave 3 stars because of how frickin long it took. I arrived there shortly after 1pm. Didn't get out until 6pm..... Just to replace 4 tires and do a wheel alignment. The "free inspection" wasn't necessary and should of been an option from the beginning because I was on a serious time crunch. I should of gone to America's tires instead. The same tire over there at least has a warranty unlike pepboys and was cheaper. that's what I get for rushing.

They did my oil change within a reasonable time 2hrs. The only critiques I would give is they always seem to forget the sticker, had to stop and ask for it before I left, and the high mileage synthetic is about $40-60 higher than competition.

They had the tire in store which saved me time to wait for the shipping but their time management is shitty! They told me it would take 2 hours. I waited at the shop and it eventually took 4 hours!!! I could’ve uber back or asked my colleagues to pick me up!!!

This is my 6th time coming here with 2 different cars. Being female, I often feel like I’m being talked down to by mechanics and/or someone’s trying take advantage of my ignorance with cars. At Pep Boys, I appreciate being spoken to as a customer, given timely updates, excellent service and reasonable prices. This time, I just had service done at the dealer - slow air leak from the tires. Four days later, a flat tire, so out air in it. Next morning, another flat tire. I brought it to Pep Boys and in a little bit over an hour, my tire was patched and I’m back on the road for less than $22. Every step of the way, my counter guy kept me informed every step of the way, I didn’t even notice it was an hour later. I’m sorry I forgot his name, but I will not forget his smile and excellent service!

Took my wife’s mini cooper here to check a sound it was making. They said it’s the serpent belt that needs to be replaced and charged me $400 for it. I took the car and drove 5 minutes there was an error reading engine temperature too high. I drove the car two other times and after 5 minutes the engine would overheat. I took it back to the shop and told them the vehicle didn’t have this issue before they touched it and they wouldn’t take responsibility. I’m out 400 dollars and I can’t use the car. Please do not go here.

Frustrating experience. Got here at 12pm for a wheel alignment. Was told it would take 2-2.5 hours. Sat down. No communication after that. After 3 hours, I went and asked about the status. They hadn't even started working on the car, wasn't even on the rack yet. I had to leave without the service. Waste of time

I’ve tried to give this Pep Boys the benefit of the doubt multiple times, but the fact is, it’s being managed very poorly! I had an appointment for oil change and tire rotation that I made online. I arrived at 10:15am, checked in and told them I was waiting. They quoted me 2 hours, which is a lot for a simple service, but I decided to be patient and wait. Around 12:00pm, I went to check in on the status to learn that they never even took my car back yet! Nothing was even started! They said they can’t determine how long because of yesterday’s work and drop ins so they were backed up. But why not tell me that from the get go instead of having me sit there when I could be going about my day?! They totally didn’t even care about my time and three guys in the garage weren’t even working on cars and were just standing there chatting! Will never go back! They lost my business! Beware if you are on a schedule because they don’t respect appointments that people make or your time!
