Came for a “Free Engine Light Code Pull Service Package” then they proceed to tell me it will be $99??? $99 just to plug something in to my car and tell me what the issue could be if there is one lol that is highway robbery. Maybe don’t offer free deals on your website if it’s a blatant lie

Fui a cojerle un ponche a una goma me dijeron 3 horas, a las tres horas llame y me dijeron 45 mn más ,a las dos horas fui sin que me llamaran y me dicen k no podían arreglarme la goma por x motivos ,5 horas para k no resolvieran nada ,muy mal trabajo

Apparently the price they quote you for a set of new tires doesn’t include the LABOR to install them. Had no choice but to go here due to punctured tire, won’t happen again.

Called to ask about TPMS and they reset it for me right then and there and informed me if it comes back on and there’s no obstruction to tires it’s a sensor issue and I’ll need it replaced. Very informative and didn’t make me feel like an idiot over a simple button I didn’t realize I could use to reset.

I had a terrible experience at this Pep Boys. They didn’t fix the original problem with my car, and on top of that, they actually broke other parts of my car while trying to fix it. Their work was sloppy, and they clearly didn’t pay attention to what they were doing. When I went back to talk to them about all the damage they caused, they didn’t care at all and didn’t even try to make things right. If you want your car to come out in worse shape than it went in, then go here. Otherwise, take your car somewhere else.

Manager told me it would be 323 for 2 new tires out the door before tax and then hit me with a 69 dollar installation fee after the fact but what can you do 6 hours from home

Service here is terrible. Staff here doesn't communicate anything. Had to get my window motor fixed on my drivers side. Got the referral from the actual warranty company. I come here, gave them the keys and waited. About a half an hour to 40mins later. One of the workers tells me that when they contacted the warranty company, they said I wasn't on it. I called the warranty company that provided me with the referral to be here, they were confused. Come to find out, they didn't give the warranty company correct information. When that got squared away, I was sitting and waiting for an hour, almost, two hours and some change. I saw people come and go, as well as the time. So I decided to ask how much longer it was going to take. Another worker then tells me I have to wait, two more hours. That the warranty people haven't even submitted payment yet. I'm just confused at the fact that I had been here more than 3 hours and no update on what's going on or anything. Worse service I've ever had at a shop. I will never come back here again. I also saw them with other customers. They don't work well with others. Have ugly attitudes like they don't want to be there. I don't see any initiative to want to help the customers. Just there to barely do the job right.

The attitude of the supervisor or manager is disastrous, he has very little empathy, I don't know how this man is the face of this establishment, he has zero customer service skills and I am referring to Fritz

They were incredibly helpful and were able to figure out why my car wasn’t starting. Jose at the front was super nice to me and they got my car done in a very timely manner on such a busy day without an appointment!

This place scheduled my service appt for 10 am Saturday, just so when I get there at that time (10:05), they told me there’s 3 cars ahead of me. It’s like this place doesn’t know what the term “appointment” means

Had an appointment at 9am for a diagnostic. They held my car for 8hrs and didn’t diagnose it until I called them to see what was going on. All of a sudden the diagnoses could be done in 30 minutes. Got the car back at 5:00pm right at close. Zero communication until I reached out. Pretty sure if I didn’t call they wouldn’t have reached out and kept my car overnight despite needing to make a second appointment to actually get my problem repaired. Only plus is that I didn’t get charged because they realized they screwed up. Usually love Pep Boys, second bad experience at this particular shop.

I went in for a wheel alignment 8/15/24 early morning, everything was cool. Dude at the front took my keys, told me to wait and handed them to someone without uniform to do my alignment. I didn’t think much of it other than he probably just came in late. After about 30 minutes I get told that the bolt that spins to lock the outer tie rod in place was “stripped” I told the guy behind the counter that both side inner and outer tie rod are brand new so there’s no way they are stripped, I installed them. After everything is all said and done I get my keys back and pay the 118 dollar bill for the alignment. I drive out and I kid you not NOTHING has changed in the alignment of my car instead of the wheel being clocked center it is clocked to the right and heavily drags to the left. I never received the alignment status ( it shows your toe caster and camber ) when I payed and they charged me shop supply for a bolt that NEVER GOT REPLACED! I got the chance to go under my car today and everything is the same. Same bolt, same cotter pins same results. Very unprofessional and very upset with the work that was never done!

I went in to get headlight replaced, they found just a loose wire and so no cost at all. Felt urge to give a good tip as i was expecting at least a quick service fee.

I would like to say I had a nice experience but I didn’t. 1st to start off I scheduled an appointment but when I arrived they told me I had to wait 1hour & 30minutes to be seen. Clearly that was not what I was expecting. So I came back the next day to drop off my vehicle but I had to get my own transportation to get to work. They called to give me an estimate of the cost for repairs. Great, and they can get it do that day. When I arrived to pick up vehicle little Jose was amazing. But then I left, unfortunately I had to return the next day for a correction. They were very busy which I waited 2 hours for a correction that was not fixed right. They asked me to return the next day. Still my issue was not resolved. Called to make sure they would be able to complete the work. Then I spoke to Big Jose who was rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. There was a service worker by the name FRITZ who I would never engage with. He was very condescending, I hope he has sisters, mother, aunt’s & nieces that service workers treat them the way he treated me. I will never go back there except for the parts that are under warranty with them and then I might just take it a lost. ✌🏾

Should have read the other reviews. They own up the the mechanics code of JIPPING you. Helpful tip: you NEVER need to replace your rotors unless your break pads are metal to metal.

$165 for one new tire. Within 30 min of leaving all my dash warning lights came on. 9 whole codes! Car wouldn’t accelerate or reverse so got stuck at a 4 way intersection. Super embarrassing! I called but no one answered. Called the next morning and Jose wouldn’t take any responsibility or offer assistance even after asking for refund. Said it’s not their problem. Didn’t even go ask a mechanic what happened just completely brushed me off saying changing a tire isn’t related to my issues yet none of these lights came on until right after I left! Don’t come here go to mom and pop shops from now on.
