I made an appointment 2 days in advance to get new tires put on my van. I drive 30 minutes to this location with a spare tire on just for them to tell me they don’t know why the website allowed me to make an appointment and that they didn’t see they had an appointment coming at 5PM and they don’t have enough people or time to do my tires and sent me away with a spare tire on my car. Clearly unreliable….

Had a great experience my last visit. It had been a while since I was there last, and grew tired of dealership pricing. Pep Boys took great care of me and my car. They were very quick and reasonable. I will be taking my car there from now on.

I do not recommend going to this location. Larry and Tom screwed us. We got our breaks repaired here in May. Paid overpriced, but was lucky to get 12 months warranty. Or were not lucky? Here we are in November and our breaks are shaking again. We made an 8am appointment. Tom wrote down drop off when we made it clear we will wait for the car. Keep in mind we planned our day around this appointment and anticipated the timeframe to be a couple of hours. We arrive and Larry says, "It will take all day. " The appointment said drop off when we told Tom we were going to wait. He also, told us to go to another location due to short staff. Tom also mentioned he would get us in and out. Our car wasn't even looked at. So we were on the bottom of the list because of our warranty? I can't forget to mention that Larry tried telling us that our warranty is 6 months not 12 months. These guys were so rude and I'm so disgusted how they treated us. They need to be held accountable for all of this.

I went to Pep Boys for a large job to replace the water pump and the timing belt. Ben helped me and definitely took care of me more than I could have asked for. I really appreciated his honesty and help. I would definitely recommend this Pep Boys. Still good but the retail is gone.

Yo fui a cambiar las llantas y el empaque del motor porque liquidaba, y ellos me jodieron el carro, a otro dia mi carro se quedó en medio de la carretera. Y fuimos a reclamar y ellos se niegan de cualquier cosa y aparte tienen una actitud muy mala. La verdad no les recomiendo para nada este lugar.

Had a great experience at Pepboys with purchasing a set of tires. The sales associate, Tom, was able to find a better deal on tires than I was quoted at a competitor and called me to let me know. I was able to get my tires installed and alignment done the same day at an affordable price.

I don't usually go to Pep Boys for my car to be serviced, but I did on October 7, 2024, because Toyota of Tampa Bay were going to charge me over $200 for a brake flush. Yikes!! I contacted Pep Boys on Dale Mabry and spoke with Jose. They did the service for under $85.00. So far, so good. If I have any issues, they'll hear from me!! Jose was terrific!! They seemed to have done an excellent job. Thanks, Pep Boys, for treating me with kindness and a job well done!!

I had an excellent experience at Pep Boys! The service was prompt and courteous, my husband got a ride home from one of the service managers, and the Michelin all weather tires are the best—such a smooth ride and you can feel the grip that they have on the pavement when you stop.

My car started to decelerate and not go over 10 miles an hour luckily I could pull into Pep Boys. I made it there on Saturday just in time before they were closing so I waited until Monday called in around 3 o’clock. They told me that it was a throttlebody issue and they had to order the part. It would be $1000 Plus labor so I said OK Tuesday night and said the car was ready to be picked up when I arrived Wednesday afternoon. I paid the bill and went to leave with the car and had the same exact problem took it back and they told me it would be a 45 minute wait and I had said to the guy that part must not be the right part because I’m having the same exact issue so I hope they kept my old part because evidently I did not need that thousand dollar part so I am still waiting to hear something still have not heard anything it is Wednesday at 1:42. I had to head home in an Uber another $40 charge altogether. I have $120 and Uber bills just going back-and-forth to the Pep Boys so I’m hoping this time when I have to call them because they never call me only time they called is when they said the car was done all the other times I had to reach out to them. Need an appointment at my local Pep Boys a rotation and balance at 1 o’clock dropped it off. The guy said are you leave dropping off the car? I said yes and on my line I was waiting for it after an hour of waiting and nobody has said anything he said they were running four hours behind and did not tell me that in the very beginning, I do not recommend this one at all and this is not the first time that I’ve had problems with this location very dissatisfied and not recommend you guys to no one

Good prices, they always had the parts i was looking for. Tends to be good idea to check online first for part and arrange to pick up and pay 20 mins or more later as a sizable discount is offered for doing this.

I was in desperate need of some new tires, I tried booking an appointment online with some tires that had a discount, unfortunately the store didn’t have any in stock. I walked into the store and was greeted by a friendly gentleman, I explained my issue and he was able to find the tires and even had them ordered, delivered and installed all in the same day! He even honored the online discount and told me my car would be ready at 5pm. I walked into at 5pm and to my surprise the car was ready to and my new tires looked great! I will definitely come back in the future for other repairs.

Outstanding Service and Results at Pep Boys, Carrollwood! I was dealing with a persistent and frustrating issue with my 19-year-old car—a major water leak that left the interior ceiling falling apart and the front floorboards soaking wet with nearly an inch of water on both the driver’s and passenger’s side every time it rained. It was driving me crazy! I brought my car to Pep Boys in the Carrollwood, Florida area, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the service. Tom at the front desk provided excellent customer care and handed my car over to Bob, a skilled mechanic who went above and beyond to fix the problem. He thoroughly cleaned out the roof drainage near the sunroof, as well as all the rain drains around the engine area. Just a few days later, we had massive rainstorms with hurricane-level winds and downpours—and my car stayed completely dry inside! Not a drop of water made it in. If you’re dealing with a similar issue, I highly recommend Pep Boys in Carrollwood. The service was well worth the cost, and Tom made sure I got the best deal possible. They saved me both money and the hassle of dealing with a swampy car floor. Huge thanks to Tom and Bob—you’ve made my life so much easier!
