Mr. Michael, the Manager, is a real leader. The rest of the staff are as polite and attention to detal as Mr. Michael himself. I recommend this place because when employees work in such rush and drama free environment, the good outcome is potenciated.

This time my experience was terrible, on 11/16 I took my 2015 tacoma for a coolant flush, I mentioned that I needed the Toyota pink coolant , when the technician started I noticed that he was putting yellow standard coolant, I went to remind Mr Michael that I need a pink coolant as I requested, the technician Walter B responded saying if I want pink coolant for Toyota , I should take my truck to a Toyota dealer and not to pep boys, after all he got two gallons of pink coolant, I believe the customer deserves respect, I have been a pep boys customer for years, to me the technician should not get involved with the costumers that way he did and much less provide a poor service as the technician Walter did, the next day I checked the coolant in my truck and was mixed yellow and pink, to me the first gallon of yellow coolant that he put in my radiator wasn’t flushed correctly and he poured the pink one over that yellow coolant, I thought the service would be more professional. Thank you

I recently experienced poor customer service after visiting a repair shop for an engine heating warning on my dashboard. They performed a dye test and asked me to return if the issue persisted, but when I went back, they demanded an additional $100 to diagnose the problem, giving the impression that they were unwilling to properly inspect my vehicle.

Manager Michael at Pep Boys on N. Dale Mabry 8705 33614. He was Professional and Service Counter jean listen to my problems concerning my vehicle 2009 Focus SE and did a excellent job in replacing the Battery, Engine filter. They didn't looked down on me as woman and many rip off doing repairs. I would highly Recommend this Pip Boys Location.

Stopped by here to get quick tire patch until I can get to Costco were they’re insured and was told that he couldn’t patch because it was to close to the edge and that it would be 183$ for one tire and that I needed two tires not just one, I literally started laughing, I drive a Toyota Camry SE btw, I’m going to attach a picture of the unmatchable tire below, DO NOT go here.

I dropped off two vans for an oil change and one of them also needed to get fixed TPMS. The time was 7:30 am and they didn’t have any business going on when I got there. They never called to give me any updates and when I called them I was told that they would be ready around 5:30pm. Mike the manager was very rude and try to blame me for his own actions.

If there’s something wrong with your car, don’t take it here. Maybe they’re good for oil changes, tire rotation, alignment, etc. I don’t know.. but we took our car here and they wanted to charge us $700 for something that doesn’t even need to be fixed. We knew they were wrong as they didn’t even notice we changed the coils and spark plugs the day before (they recommended we change them smh) We just fixed our car because another company keystone Plaza Firestone was nice enough to look at it for us, tell us what was wrong and not charge us too (this place charged us $60 and they gave us a guess, obviously didn’t even look at it) We just fixed our car and it wasn’t what this place said it was. They deserve zero stars.

I requested an oil change and tire rotation. Had to drive back to the store to have the tires rotated because the mechanic said “it didn’t need it” the first time I was there. Requested a safety inspection on my vehicle that was never done, never received the paper work or the car fax and was still charged after requesting it 3 times. It is clear this shop will skip corners and still take your money.

Attempted to scam my friend $1100+ for a battery and a starter. Absolutely nothing was wrong with the starter. She just needed a new battery…had called Tires Choice who advised something sounded fishy. We called Pep Boys and advised we would not be needing their services. When we arrived, her car was still in the garage… the mechanic looked shocked we weren’t going to let them “fix it.” They pushed it out of the garage so we could jump her car and one of the mechanics said to another, “Oh.. they’re going to jump it and see that it actually starts.” We were able to jump her car, take it to Walmart, and replace her battery for $89. WE FIXED HER CAR FOR LESS THAN $100 AND THEY WERE TRYING TO CHARGE HER OVER $1100. Insane. Don’t trust their b.s.
