Michael and all the boys at Pep Boys of Tulsa on S.Memorial are very well trained auto technicians. They perfectly repaired my European German Import, a classic BMW 325i Sports Sedan. They are far better than those grease monkeys at the BMW of Tulsa dealership, that would have charged way more, and only to return my car back to them. I ❤️ Pep Boys, they are meticulous and very professional. I highly recommend you take your vehicle to Pep Boys on S. Memorial in Tulsa to have your car repaired right the first time at a fair price...

6714 S Memorial Dr, Tulsa, OK was a terrible experience. I was told to bring in my truck in at 8 AM for a 1.5 - 2 hour alternator replacement. I’m finally waiting to pay for it at 4:46. There is no time management at the shop. The mechanics have no sense of urgency. And the guy at the counter will tell you over and over it will just be another hour. Terrible experience. I recommend Googling mechanics near me or something like this. No one here wants to earn a paycheck, they just want to get paid for showing up.

After realizing replacing the thermostat on my Grand Cherokee Overland edition was more difficult than I thought, I went to Pep Boys. I was greeted with a genuine tone. We discussed the issue and made an appointment that was good for both of us. I was explained the cost and it was very reasonable. I dropped the Jeep off, and the service was done as projected and done well. I will be back.

Very nice guy at the front desk, however they left a bunch of lubricant on all 4 tires, did not clean it and I noticed some scratch on my rims...please do not let teenager do a men's job...

Front passenger tire popped. Brake pads placed on front don’t even meet OE standards of being ceramic pads. Tires are more out of balance than prior to them balancing them. Rear brakes squeaking/squealing all the time now instead of just at slow speeds. Will never return to Pep Boys. I will easily be out several hundred dollars just trying to correct everything and fix what was suppose to be fixed by them.

UPDATE: Car won’t turn on still after battery and alternator was replaced. Since my receipt said an inspection was done- I’m upset they did not find even an inkling that something else was wrong. Now I’m $1000+ down the drain and having to call a more reputable source to find the real issue since I don’t trust Pep Boys anymore. Was quoted that my repair would take two days. It’s been almost 7 and still nothing. They won’t even make a curtesy call letting me know they still haven’t finished it- I’M having to constantly call and check up on it. I’m now having to pay $80+ A DAY in rideshare because of this and it’s ridiculous. If they would’ve let me know- I would’ve taken to somewhere that can accurately help a customer, rather than letting my car sit in their parking lot. (I also have an AirTag on it and can see them consistently moving my car around their lot yet it still isn’t fixed?)

Was looking for a part next door to fix my undercarriage trim after I couldn't get the dealer to fix it. Pep boy Mechanic saw my car with the trim hanging down, told me to bring it in and just fixed it on the spot, no charge. So now I come here for scheduled maintenance, they are cheaper than the dealership, will actually listen when I ask about other issues and proactively notice upcoming problems.

I took my Cadillac to Pep Boys because the AC wasn’t blowing cold. They ripped me off for $250 and lied, saying it was fixed when it wasn’t. When I brought it back, they did absolutely nothing and refused to refund my money. This place run by incompetent and dishonest staff. Worst service ever!

Lousey Customer service! I booked an appointment, requested a Quote. Never heard back. Called 2 days before the appointment, a girl too down my information said she would call back. Never heard from anyone! Called the day before the appointment, called 4 times, to cancel! The never picked up! After reading the reviews, I am very Happy to bail on they're appointment. They Obviously do no need anymore Business.

Needed a stock trailer tire replaced on July 4th. Called Pep Boys and they confirmed availability. Tools the tire in and they worked me in. Was extremely professional and kind and although very busy got me taken care of!

DO NOT GO HERE. Liars and scam artists. I went in Sunday asked the spark plugs to be checked, all the ignition coils, brakes, and oil changed. Picked up my car was told the spark plugs were great, coils were changed, and the car should run fine. Left the lot close to closing and the check engine light came back on. I returned Tuesday (did not drive in between leaving the shop and returing) and was told spark plugs are burnt up and i need 3 more coils and a whole list of other issues I wasnt told about Sunday. The mechanics explanation was that car parts can "go bad" anytime and he couldnt tell me what happened Sunday cause he wasnt there..it was the same shop. How can you not speak for what your own shop didnt do? What? Parts do not go bad minutes after you leave the shop. I took it to another shop and was told theres no way those issues werent present the first time I took it in. Dont go here unless you want to waste your money.

Dropped of my car for a routine AC recharge. Was told there was no leaks and it was just a little low on freon and they filled it. Picked it up, car blowing nothing but hot air. I take it back, and they tell me it now has a huge leak and I need to replace the entire lower AC line for $800. I question the diagnosis, and they tell me to return the next day. I returned the next day and the manager (who was very nice) had a mechanic look at it. Then they come back and tell me there is no leak but instead a clog in the compressor and want $800 to fix. I told them to remove all freon from the car and just give it back to me at this point. I called a buddy (who is mechanically inclined but not a professional mechanic) and he said they likely overfilled it originally. We went to Walmart and got two cans of EZ Chill refrigerant, filled it up, made sure pressure was proper (he had the gauge/hoses to do this). Now the AC works perfectly. There is no problem with the compressor or lines. Just a horrible experience. I don't know if they just made two mistakes with the lines and compressor, or what, but either way I am glad I didn't have them do the unnecessary repair. They were very nice, but they clearly messed this up.
