They said the problem was my battery but I had a new one in it. I had to bring it back a second time. I finally called back up there and they said they couldn't find the part needed. Ummmm…. When were you going to call and tell me?

Went in wanted my oil and transmission builds changed told me the transmission tech isn't here then still tried to charge me $300 for a diagnostics on my transmission.

Came in late in a pinch about 30 minutes before they closed with a horribly low tire & a tight timeline with an upcoming flight home for the holidays. The two guys who helped me patch my tire were so generous, friendly and accommodating even though I came in towards the end of their shift. Great experience, and I cannot thank the two who helped me out enough!

No. Just don’t. I had tires installed on my truck by another shop but the guy for alignments wasn’t in that day so figured I’d run down the road to pro boys after and get it done. Not sure what was done honestly. The guy performing the work was arguing with somebody on his phone longer than he took doing my truck. Also, I’m pretty sure my alignment is out further than it was before I showed up. Why is this place still open? Why did I go to pep boys in the first place lol my fault.

The staff are friendly, competent, and went the extra mile for me, retrieving one rare part from a junk yard. You don't expect that kind of personalized service from a big franchise/chain.

I went online and scheduled an appointment for an alignment at 8:30AM. I arrive at 8:30 and was told the alignment tech doesn’t arrive until 10AM. Not sure why they even let you book an appointment for a time the tech isn’t even there. Waste of a morning.

After hearing some grinding, I took my car in to Pep Boys in Waco, TX, for a brake inspection. I was very pleased with my overall experience. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional and got my car in and out in a reasonable amount of time.

They did an amazing job aligning my wheels and tires. It was fast and didn't have to wait long at all. They also let me know what I needed to get done in the future. They were friendly and kind. Took my car in with a nail in the tire. I’d purchased the road hazard warranty, which Pep Boys honored with no questions asked. Tire was fixed quickly and efficiently and communication about progress was great. I’ll definitely use Pep Boys again!

Avoid unless you have no other choice. Too expensive with hidden fees. At least Thomas at the counter was nice so I am thankful for that.

Good old fashioned kindness still exists…Brady helped reassemble my key fob after I couldn’t figure out how to put it back together again LOL (weary eyes tell lies, don’t go to bed without finishing a project you might not remember what you did the day before). He gave all the credit to his Teacher Thomas…stand-up guys! Thank you!

I needed new tires and I decided to use Pep Boys because they were close to my home and I thought it might be easier. I looked online at tire prices and made an appointment online. I went to the first appointment and they did not have the tires in store. So they ordered them and Shaun asked me to call a week later to check if they arrived. I did so then had to wait an additional three days for an appointment. I went to second appointment and the tires were there and I waited for them to be installed. It took much longer than I was originally told but I believe they were short staffed. Shaun actually helped out in the shop and my tires were installed. It was much more than I had been led to believe but at that point I just wanted to get it finished. I think they did as I asked...I got new tires installed but it took too many days and I was completely unsatisfied with the price but that might be my fault for not going somewhere else. I probably wouldn't advise going to Pep Boys unless you don't have other options. Next time I will probably go to another place. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't excellent either.

Overall a good experience buying new tires. Staff was friendly and professional. Vehicle was ready when promised. Would come back here again.
