We purchased a used car from Pete's Auto. After a few days some minor mechanical issued surfaced that should have been repaired prior to the sale of the car. We called Pete's Auto and they apologized for the mistake, took full responsibility and repaired the car without any additional charge to us. They could have easily said that the car was sold "as is", but they did not. Pete's Auto earned my future business for that act alone. It is difficult to find an "honest" mechanic.

This place recently had gotten a bad wrap I recently took my truck there to get a wheel alignment and thanks to a their due diligence and them doing things the right way by taking a look at all the reasons why my truck could potentially have said issue led them to find a number of issues that they showed me and knowing my truck very well at first I thought they were going to try and sell me a bunch of stuff I did not need because I had just had the vehicle looked at by the dealership I work at by the 2 master techs there ! With hope they would not be shady I listened to them tell me every part that I actually need and nothing more ! Talk about honesty I was very surprised and happy that this company was honest and standing true to their 40+ year reputation ! Good work guys and thank you ! Keep in mind if you go in and ask for a wheel alignment you have to understand that their is a ton of moving parts that make up your wheels being aligned and these guys will find the true issues and present them at a reasonable price ! Thank you to the owner , mechanics and the store manager they are all awesome !

I called to explain a problem with my 1993 Buick Park Avenue Ultra supercharged and "Ray" said it sounds like your coupler is giving you issues and he said that coupler and everything in there can be probably long gone and he did say with 17 years experience on his belt that it's better if I just get a Buick Park Avenue regular belt and bypass the supercharger and drive it like that until I can get the repair for the supercharger or just until I get a different car he was very knowledgeable with 17 years experience. I highly recommend anybody that needs a mechanic to go to him at Pete's Auto repair.

Shop was very kind, friendly, and honest. My company truck needed an alignment. Somebody else dropped off my truck. The spare keys had damage to them. But I did not know the spare key was dropped off damaged so when I picked it up and there was a huge chunk missing. I suspected damage from the mechanic. The mechanic was sure that the key fob came That way so I checked with who dropped the truck off and The mechanic was correct. Those were not my original keys which were in good condition. It was a spare set of keys with damage. Even after all that, they're very kind in knowing that a mistake has been made. 👍👍👍

Great shop for all automotive needs!! They're worked on my daily driver vehicles and my custom Camaro the past few years and they've been absolutely awesome with communication, pricing, scheduling and parts. The owner is a stand-up guy that will bend over backwards to help you get back on the road! Highly recommend these guys to anyone that needs auto work from simple things to custom work. 2000 s10 wheel alignment after I lowered it 2 inches all 4 corners. (Xtreme stanced). Found where my lowering parts weren't the highest quality and made the adjustment to make it safe and maximize ride and handling quality. Rey was communicative and transparent about everything he did; even educational. I'm glad to have taken to this shop, as my 17 year old daughter will be driving this truck and they will keep her safely on the road in a 25 year old truck. Job well done. Thank you.🍻

Shop was clean. I got to see the bad parts. They ordered the parts and I took it back for repairs. I would have liked a call letting me know they had an issue. But all in all it was professional.

We were starting a road trip after having a suspension upgrade on our Sprinter van RV and were advised by the installer to have a mechanic re-torque the new bolts and the wheel lugs after 500 miles. We entered Tucson and read the many positive reviews about Pete’s. After calling and explaining our situation the service manager agreed to help us without an appointment. The staff at Pete’s took our vehicle back quickly after our arrival, did the service that was recommended and finished within an hour. I didn’t think businesses like this existed anymore. Their professionalism and willingness to help someone in need is refreshing and made our day. I give Pete’s Auto Repair my highest recommendation!

We flew in town and needed repairs on a vehicle purchased. We found this place and are extremely satisfied. The owner assured we did not need an appointment to render services. We requested a diagnostic, and ordered an alignment. Two visible issues were discovered a faulty radiator and an oil seal. The shop worked their stations staying very busy. We heard and talked to repeat customers who shared their continued long term support for this business. It was appears thats Pete's Auto Repair has a personable and enviable old fashion approach to business. I was impressed with that!! We were in and out in several hours. We left as satisfied customers. If it would be necessary, I would return!!!

Receptionist was very nice and answered all my questions. The mechanic took the time to explain to me what was wrong with my car and help me understand in simple terms what was necessary. I would definitely go back to them to and recommend to family and friends. Good professional people.

Sold my sister a vechile for 4500 dollars broke down first week he supposedly repaired it and charged for towing n repair and was still the same when she got so sad. You would think a 4500 dollar car would last a little longer then that!

This used to be a great shop for alignments that I used several times with great service at a reasonable price. The original owner sold the business and I decided to give the new owners a try. I was quoted $120 for a four wheel alignment. I took the car in and was quoted almost 2k to change the struts and rear control arms. I paid $60 for the attempted alignment. Spent $300 on parts, 1 hour to install them and saved myself $1,700 in labor. When I went back to get my alignment done I was charged an additional $200 to adjust the camber on the rear control arms. Wasn't that part of the alignment? I won't be using this shop for any work going forward as they seem to be more interested in price gouging than providing a service at a reasonable price.

We were impressed with Pete’s Automotive. We had trouble with a bicycle tire and although this wasn’t their business, they fixed it and got us on our way. Very good people!
