⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently took my 2013 E 350 to Pete’s for the first time, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience! Booking my appointment online was a breeze, and when I arrived, the staff greeted me warmly and made me feel right at home. They took the time to explain everything my car needed in simple, easy-to-understand terms, which put my mind at ease. Their professionalism and transparency were refreshing! As an added bonus, I loved seeing all the beautiful vintage Mercedes they work on—it’s like a little car museum! I will definitely be returning for any future car needs. Highly recommend!

Greg and Lucia are absolutely wonderful to work with. I had been taking my car to MB of SF for over 15yrs until in a pinch, I brought it to Pete’s and had a great experience. My new service spot from now on.

Very polite on the phone and got me in within 24 hours. Got a detailed work proposal via text. Got my car back the next day even though they had to order a part. Very professional and even washed the car for me. I will use them again.

All staff at Pete’s were so helpful and kind, they did an amazing job replacing my car window after having my car broken into. They gave me the help I needed, doing an amazing job for a fair price compared to other places I had looked at.

I have had consistently great experiences at Pete’s over many years. They provide thorough explanations of what needs to be done, do it on time and on budget, and there are no hassles or drama. I especially appreciate that I can usually get my car in and out relatively quickly, even though they are clearly a busy shop.

My car is 84 Mercedes 300 CD with 155,500 miles. The pastime I brought in the car for oil service, there were things like the fuel filter not replaced. I mentioned the roughness and was blown off. Apparently the owner who has driven the car for 40 years, doesn’t know when something is wrong with his car. There was more but to sum up I don’t trust the owner, Greg Arkus. He should never have let his Shop Foreman, Kevin O’Donnell, and service writer, Mario Serrano, leave the shop. The quality of work has fallen too much and I will not take my car back.

If you actually want real service in San Francisco, this is where you go. I came in. I had a small repair that needs to be done. I left the car with them. They got it taken care of then they had a specialist that was coming the next day to take care of a little dense for a couple of cars and I got into that line and I got everything all done and I got my car back in 28 hours, so you don’t need to drive to Mercedes in South Francisco if you’ve got issues with your Mercedes just go to Pete’s

I requested a simple oil change and got an invoice for $280+ 30min of labor @$225 per hour $122.5 of oil which is a 100% markup This is San Francisco but holy cow. This is not a shop for quick and cheap service.

Pete's is an amazing alternative to the M-B dealer, who moved out of SF. The personal service, thanks to Greg and his great staff, is outstanding. They understand German cars inside-out and top-to-bottom. I recommend them unhesitatingly.

I have always had great service from Pete's, and highly recommend them for Mercedes car repairs and service. Greg is particularly friendly and helpful, and has gone far out of his way to help. Really, Pete's deserves much better than the maximum 5-star rating!

It's always a challenge to get a 33 year old Mercedes serviced and repaired in San Francisco or anywhere else. If you have a problem with your car and many other repair shops have tried unsuccessfully to fix it, look no further because you've found the right guy. I'm talking about Greg Arkus, the owner of Pete's, Inc. and his team at 1745 Clay Street in San Francisco. I got an appointment on short notice, brought the car in in the morning and was done that evening. I feel they still have excellent and knowledgeable mechanics (old school) who know their job like no other. I highly recommend Pete's Inc.

They were professional honest and reasonably priced. I was given my options in detail, and I felt confident about leaving my car with them. They went out of their way to subcontract out some of the work because I wanted my rims done as well. They were great every time I talk to them, everyone I came in contact with their was professional and Knowledgeable. I will definitely be a return customer.

The dreaded check engine light came on just before needing a smog check. The dealer wanted to replace the turbo charger for over $7000. I got a second opinion at Pete's and they fixed the problem by changing out a $250 part. The check engine light went off and the smog check passed.

I’ve always been given excellent advice and care at Pete’s. I drive an older model Mercedes (‘84 300CD) and they’ve been really helpful in maintaining service, replacing parts, and helping me save money whenever possible. Couldn’t recommend them fast enough to anybody in need of their services.
