I took my car here for the first time last week for some routine maintenance. Very efficient and good pricing. John took the time to explain what he was doing and why and he called me with an estimate before he started working on the car. John goes above and beyond for his customers. I will only bring my car here moving forward.

Maybe the most honest mechanics I’ve met. Had an issue with a heat shield rattling under my Subaru (common problem with Subarus) They clamped it up same day and didn’t charge me a cent. No silly upselling just a true honest auto service center.

Took my car in to have the break light switch looked at. Changed it and sent me on my way. I’ve taken my car there in the past and every time these guys have been honest with me and fair. Real people for the community and I genuinely love them.

Definitely the most reliable and trustworthy repair shop in the neighborhood. No intention to rip you off (they once took care of a minor glitch in my car’s operational system even without charging any fees just because no parts had to be replaced and the treatment was a relatively simple one). Highly highly recommended.

Let me start by saying I’m new to LA and in general one of the hardest things to find is a trustworthy, reputable, and honest mechanic. I was driving back to LA when I started to have car trouble. I asked my neighbor if she had a recommendation and was sent here. When I called, instead of getting straight to the car issue, I chatted with one of the owners about where I was from and what I had done that weekend! We connected on where I grew up and the fact that I had chosen to drive on a holiday weekend! After that I let him know what I thought the issue was and he told me to bring my car down as soon as I could. This place is owned by two brothers, Kenny and John, both extremely nice and helpful! When I got to the shop, Kenny took my car around the block while I talked to John. When Kenny came back he knew exactly what was wrong with my car (even thought I thought it was something much worse and way more expensive). He proceeded to fix my car and send me on my way!! Honestly, I couldn’t believe the customer service, care, and genuineness that these men had. It’s not common and you really don’t find that often in any city. It’s so easy to be taken advantage of at a mechanic, especially as a woman. I cannot recommend this shop enough!! I will only ever take my car here! Thank you again, I thoroughly enjoyed the conversation and appreciate the care and helpfulness of you both! Thank you thank you!

Our car's check engine light appeared on the same day after we took it back from dealership service. Unfortunately, they were no help with the issue. So we find Piechowski and called in the morning, they got us right in! John was very helpful, descriptive, and honest. It turned out to be nothing and they didn't charge us for that. We are very grateful! I highly recommend them and definitely will come back for the maintenance. Honest safe pair of hands deserve respect and a good earn!

My family has used the brothers for a decade maybe two. Couple weeks ago the clutch master cylinder went out on my Tacoma. Had it diagnosed and repaired in a day and a half. Shocked at how honest they were about the repair and the cost. This is something I've personally done before and I know the part cost as well. Straight honestly in an auto repair shop is sadly rare.

I was looking for a good auto place to get my general maintenance done, as I had paid off my lease and didn't want to deal with the dealership's prices. So a friend recommended this place and said his wife had brought her Prius in for years and loved the service. The volume of enthusiastic Yelp reviews and the fact that it was reasonably close to where I live had me convinced. I called the shop and spoke to John (Piechowski, brother of Ken) one morning and he had me in the next day. John was simply wonderful. A very affable guy who's been at it for decades and clearly really cares about doing great work and giving people an honest price. He explained things in valuable detail and patiently answered a number of questions for me as well. And when I saw the invoice, I thought I had been undercharged. He even helped me with some windshield buildup and managed to remove the dealer sticker that had been welded on forever. I'll certainly be back for future service, and I would absolutely tell people to trust this team as well. Thank you so much!

I went to Piechowski Auto Center for 4 years. The mechanics are very experienced and honest. Would recommend very highly. One telling experience was when I found that there was sometimes some smell while using the AC. They checked the AC and the car, and said they didn't find any issues, and so didn't charge me a penny. It turned out that the problem was not with the car. It was just that when I went through Carson, which is quite smelly, the smell would enter the car. Had I went to some other mechanic, they would have extorted hundreds if not thousands of dollars.

All the reviews are true. These guys truly are the best out there. They are reliable, efficient, price fair, and do a great job maintaining my car. They deserve every 5 star review. My only advice is to come as soon as they open at 0730 because demand for their services is so high you'll probably have trouble getting serviced if you come later. Maybe I shouldn't have given that away.
