Great people at this shop. They were super helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to make sure that everything about my repair was explained and had excellent advice. They also did everything as promised- contacted me when they said they would, had parts ordered when they said they would, and completed the work on time. Best experience I have had with any kind of service industry in years. I will definitely be using them for all my repairs and maintenance from now on.

One of the most honest and trustworthy mechanics in RVA. JR and Tim are completely transparent about pricing and always work to find the best deal on parts. Getting a 2nd opinion from Platinum Plus has saved me thousands by avoiding unneeded repairs. The service is always fast, and they provide details, pictures and thorough explanations of every item inspected.

I'm new to Richmond. Two 2 gents at Plat+ were professional, knowledgeable, polite. Furthermore, they were accommodating to my schedule. My vehicle needed multiple services & w/the relo to this area, I'd not had time. J.R. & Tim replaced a badly torn tire, did State Inspection & multiple other services. I will return for any future car servicing & recommend use this team of professionals at Platinum Plus at 7805 W. Broad St.

JR and the staff are always very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I feel 100% confident and safe in my vehicle whenever my car is in need of maintenance or a routine service. I appreciate that they are extremely thorough. Should you have to wait a bit while your car is being serviced, they make you very comfortable by offering a coffee station, Wi-Fi, TV and comfortable seating. Highly recommended!

This place is amazing! Tim and his staff are so helpful, efficient, and friendly. These folks are truly here to help. That’s so refreshing in this industry. I appreciate each of them. I know whatever work is needed that it will be done efficiently, correctly, and with complete care for my vehicle.

I love having a great local mechanic to go to and these guys at platinum plus are just the best. Unfortunately, I needed a new transmission for a relatively new car and they did a great job. Very helpful and got me back on the road quickly.

I brought my car in the shop for an oil change and ended up needing a new plug. All of the staff were helpful and very kind. If you do not know a lot about cars, take your car here!! They will help you out!

The general manager reached out and talked to my son. She also reached out to me. Ms. D was not aware of the situation. I must also state I was wrong in my original review. This is a large company with several locations and there is someone in charge keeping an eye on everything. They will be starting on this by weeks end. I am very pleased with this young lady and her business ethics. I will rate again once the job is complete.

I hate giving bad reviews, but sometimes it needs to be done. In all fairness, they MAY do amazing work, we did not have the work done. WANTED TO My son, on my recommendation, took his truck in to get checked here, I had heard good things. We figured it had a blown head gasket, wanted a real mechanic to tell us. $169 diagnostic, more than fair. Head gasket was blown, suggested a new engine. No sense in only doing one head gasket, just for the other to go bad in a month. They suggested a new engine, I totally agreed, I drove his Tundra and it was nothing like mine. Truck came from Maine and we could see underneath, it was used to plow snow. Figured engine would be best. We agreed to get a new reman engine. 1rst week, nothing happened, no biggee. 2nd week, engine supposedly arrived. 3rd week, employee quit didnt have the manpower. My son stopped in, asked them for a realistic time frame. He was told, they didn't know, and maybe they could take it to one of their other shops. This was Monday of last week, no call ALL WEEK. He went in today, paid the diagnostic fee and brought his truck home. Now luckily, this is not a huge deal to ME. However, he is driving my Tundra and making payments on his. Yes he has to make payments running or not. Just should have told him the job was too big for a small shop like this. I see it all the time in the construction industry, companies taking on work they cant handle. May be great place to get a battery or belt replaced, bigger jobs, you may want to go elsewhere.

They give finance options but they are from predatory lenders. But you have the option. Service was fast but expensive.

I walked in without an appointment to have my side mirror fixed after visiting 3 other shops. (Backstory: Someone smacked my side mirror & shattered the glass.) Heather came out to look at it, grabbed her husband, Alex, and after a great deal of prying (15-20 minutes), he got it replaced/fixed…and at no charge! Now imagine that NO CHARGE! Thank you Heather & Alex…you have gotten yourself a lifetime customer! You don’t see this level of customer service often!! I pray you get you mustang back good as new 🙏🏾

Great service, especially the girl in front office,she explained every thing in detail and made sure I knew all my choices. The work was done quickly and my car was returned clean. The service was great and the prices were reasonable. I will be going there for all my car needs.
