I look at price,quality,and delivery and they were superb in all areas. Price was lower than competition, Sai it would take an hour and it did, and first class work. Also, communication was excellent from technicians to front desk. Thank you.

I went the as indicated in bith my bill of sales, they told me the first time that it went in that there was air pockets in my coolant system, they said that they "burped it " and it was ready for pick up , this all happend 12/27/2024, then 1/14/2025 i called platte woods precision auto, to state that my durango was over heating still, temperature gauge moving all over the place, these people told me when my suv was brought back in this time that it was the thermostat was not good, they never ran any test to see if it was in fact bad or not, furthermore I had a friend change it out, they said my friend could of installed it incorrectly, so they replaces it , and i called that afternoon after picked it up, and explained that the problem was not fixed, tired of it all i took it to a shop that said I was misdiagnosed twice by platte woods precision auto, so my head gasket was smoking , and it never did when I took it to platte woods auto, they told me at first they would make it right, nver did anything, said they would called a couple times, all sounded good, and this Friday I got a call saying they would refund me a thermostat by returning my old one back, that is so unprofessional af, I feel like they were just throwing parts on my car, and not really looking to fix the issue when would of been small at the time. Now I'm in at another shop 3800, I feel like they did not do right by me at all, I wasnt gonna make a review after all this cause rheu said they would make it right, and what they called making it right was no where near making it right, i wouldn't go there for a oil change, or brake change, period, bar none 💯✌️

Came in for a couple of leaks I had and they took very good care of me. Prices are quite reasonable and will definitely be one of my go to shops!

Very professional and knowledgeable about what needed to be fixed, as well as making sure the job is completed correctly even if a situation occurs in which the job performed has an issue.

April and the staff at Platte Woods Precision Auto are first rate! Even during a blizzard and the days that followed, April was able to take care of my car in quick order. Their work is outstanding and their prices are very fair. They are trustworthy folks!

I got my car inspection done here. The ladies were so kind and explained everything to me. They went above and beyond with my inspection, even pointing out things that needed to be fixed even though I passed. As a woman who knows just enough about cars I felt very listened to and did not feel like I was being talked down to at all. Best service I've ever gotten.

Insanely overpriced. Most expensive oil change around, which I dealt with for a while because they do a good job and they are friendly (hence the 2 stars) but they tried to quote me $600 for a new battery and install, which is OBSCENE. A battery for over $400 and labor and installation $170. Got it done for $40 down the street and will never be back. Seems like they should be embarrassed to be charging the prices they do - PLENTY of other reviews mention this - especially when they argue with everyone in the comments of said reviews. It’s all left such a bad taste in my mouth.

They performed excellent work at a fair price, and the customer service and follow-up was perfect. *Original review 5/5 from early 2024* New review December 2024: I've always had good service here until today. I left clear instruction on the drop-off form that half the problems were from me incorrectly pulling 3 fuses, and to please call first. They did not address the fuses or call me, but they sure did charge me $78 for a wrong diagnosis including the fuse-related error codes. Very poor service and inability to read or follow simple requests.

Took my subaru wrx sti here for a downpipe install went quick there mechanic Jason did a great job with the install was quoted a fair reasonable price for the work that I wanted completed I'm very pleased with them will definitely come back if I need anything else done

I highly recommend them! I got an oil change and had them look at my car. They were quick to find the problem and made it easy for me to understand. I didn’t feel pressure to fix and they broke down the cost of it all. They were quick to fix my car and very professional. I highly recommend if you are just getting an oil change or need your car looked at!

My 15 yr old car needs more than just oil changes now and the friendly knowledgeable staff here have been very helpful with diagnostics. Never any pressure to get all recommendations completed. Work that IS done is reliable, prices are fair and scheduling seems very flexible to me. Will definitely be returning to this small local business for future service. Thanks!

Platte Woods Precision Auto Care has always been super helpful! They are super great at communicating and keeping you in the loop on the status of your car. Ivy in particular is super helpful and really great to work with! I have used them 3-4 times this year (my car has been a pain recently) and they have been able to help me every time. I highly recommend them!

This place was amazing. I have only lived in the area for a short time and my truck messed up before a cross country trip. I didn't know where to trust and suddenly felt hopeless. Platte woods precision looked at my truck , gave me an estimate and price quote broken down. Didn't Try to upsale me and explained the warranty to me. Updates were given via text on a link and it was fixed on time. They even called me a week or two later and asked to make sure everything was OK and there was no other issues or questions. I highly recommend this place!!

I went in for an inspection, knowing I had a problem in the front suspension but not knowing what it was. They found the problem and was able to fix it quickly. It's my work van, so if it's not working, I'm not making money. Very pleased with the experience there!

Took the car in for an inspection to get it street safe. Came back with a quote for many overpriced repairs we declined. We were required to pay for the inspection & an oil change. We checked the oil before dropping it off & it was good but when we got it back home the oil was completely empty. Not sure what we paid for but we sold the car to a buddy who said he can do all the things listed in a day for a couple hundred bucks. He thanks you but I won't be coming back.

Platte Woods Precision Auto Care exceeded all of my expectations. Before I even picked my car up, I received a detailed inspection report (sorted by priority). The prices were reasonable and customer service was excellent. Everything from drop off to pickup was seamless and I will definitely be returning here in the future! I recently brought my car to Platte Woods Precision Auto Care to address a coolant leak. I paid $135 for the initial diagnosis, and they identified a cracked coolant reservoir. I agreed to have that fixed, but unfortunately, the car continued to leak coolant from an additional location. Despite the shop claiming they checked for leaks after the initial repair, the car still leaks at a substantial rate from another spot. I returned to the shop to have them check their work, and while they acknowledged the leak, they explained it wasn't related to their previous repair. Now, they want to charge me an additional fee for further diagnosis, which I refused. While I understand that multiple leaks can occur, I believe that the second leak should have been identified during the initial diagnosis. I don’t mind paying for the necessary repairs, but I don’t think I should be charged again for diagnosing an issue that should have been caught the first time. Given my experience, I am not confident in their ability to properly diagnose the problem and don't want to risk being charged repeatedly for incomplete or inaccurate assessments. I am disappointed with the service I received and would advise others to be cautious when considering this shop for repairs. Edit: I want to add context to the owner's response. Yes, I was able to drive the car ~100 miles by keeping the coolant reservoir topped off with a jug of coolant I kept in my car.

Went for state inspection. Price to replace rear brake light in back window was quoted $120. Went to auto parts store bought $4 bulb, opened trunk and changed myself. I’d have paid $25 for a 30 sec job. Hate rip offs won’t be back. After April response to this review, I must explain that after asking man on phone why the cost was so high, he explained that a lot of disassembly was required to get to bulb. He did not offer to adjust price, he just explained why it cost so much. Either he didn’t know how easy it was or he lied. Either way is wrong
