I must admit that I was quite reluctant to give Poly auto repair a try after being traumatized by so many auto repair shops over the years L&M auto repair on Utica Ave, Kraft German Auto, MINHS of downtown Brooklyn, BMW of Bayside, Helms Mercedes Benz of Queens and M-Spec auto repair the dealers alternative in Glendale Queens the so called “mechanics mechanic” where other mechanics send their vehicles to get inspected & smoker tested, they said that my 2014 ML-350 basically had one foot in the grave and told me to either sell or donate my vehicle. However after reading Williams reviews I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. William did his own smoke test zeroing in on the root cause of the problem which was an incorrectly seated camshaft sensor and a misaligned air intake manifold which was badly damaged and causing my vehicle to shake during stops. Once he addressed those 2 specific issues my vehicle is now running smoothly & purring like a kitten again!!! I rarely have time to sit down and write reviews for anyone, unless they’re actually good and really know what they’re doing. William does not have these 5 star ⭐️ reviews for nothing, he’s honest, straight forward, professional, and his prices are fair and reasonable, he’s a keeper, the real deal, kudos to him and his team.I finally found a mechanic I can actually trust, I will be sticking with him for all my auto repair needs!!!

Great customer service skills, Does good work in a timely manner. I had two headlights not just the bulbs, but the headlights to be replaced, they replaced it in less than two hours rewiring the cords and everything, price was very reasonable.

This used to MG & Sons. I've been going to them since 2005 they were great ppl, and the new owner(Will) is definitely carrying on that tradition. Will and his team are amazing. Decently priced, honest, and will work with you. They stand behind their work. My wife, cousins, uncle and myself are always satisfied with the level of integrity and professionalism that Will and his team bring to the table.

My experience today was amazing, I went there to do an oil change, they took care of me. They were very professional and answered all my questions regarding other issues. FYI the seating area has AC too.

Hidden gem in the neighborhood! I’ve driven past this shop plenty of times and I can say I’m extremely happy that my car has been serviced here. William and his staff are very welcoming! He took his time to explain everything that needed repairs on my vehicle as well as options for parts. He provides excellent and reliable service. You won’t be disappointed!

Poly Auto Repair is a great auto shop that knows how to get the job done and more. The customer service is great and more help is also always provided when being taken care of by Poly and the guys. I also have recommended this shop to all of my friends and family members.

Met these Guys few months ago after I had it with Lincoln on a fail water pump after 11k miles... polly auto first job for me was taking care of that Lincoln bad water pump after it fails in such a short time on my MKZ , William made me feel comfortable, he knew it was a big job replacing the water pump. My car was ready in 3 days Lincoln tec took 2 weeks, poly Auto Repair became my shop I've went back few times for other jobs example,oil change replace rear shock Rear stabilizing bar bushing, replacement of clockspring replace new buttons on steering wheel and troubleshooting airbag light on Dash... I’m always happy with my service William did a great job at keeping me updated on what is needed on my vehicle. He is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. It’s nice to have the peace of mind, knowing everything is done correctly..I'm so sorry I couldn't give these guys a 10/10 ⭐

The mechanic was straightforward and really nice. Took his time to show me everything that was wrong. What needed to be done and the prices is very reasonable. I've found myself a new honest mechanic that's not just in it for the money and knows what they are doing they always have updated equipment.

My co worker spoke very highly of this shop considering he’s a man I thought he over rated it. But to my surprised when I first visited the shop last summer I was truly surprised and satisfied with the service from the entire staff. They took their time to show and explain to me about was needed to repair my car( speaking from a woman point of view can take some time lol) very patient and the atmosphere was comfortable.

I have been a new customer with Poly Auto Repair when the company has moved to Ditmars Ave. So far he’s been reliable, honest and efficient. He’s someone you can call anytime during his working hours and he will address all your concerns. My vehicle has always been repaired properly and never returned for the same problem. I will not exchange this repair shop for no one else.

Awesome service. I had an issue with my window; it wasn’t rolling up. He fixed it quickly and explained everything to me. He even gave me some advice if it were to happen again. I had a great mechanic but he switched shops and his hours are 9-5, M-F, which is so inconvenient for me as I work those hours and use my vehicle for work. So when my brakes failed, I googled the best mechanic in Brooklyn and Poly Auto Repair came up. Upon reading the reviews, I decided to try them, and thanks to William who was kind, professional, knowledgeable and very easy to talk to; I found a new and honest mechanic. The service was phenomenal. Try them you won't be disappointed.

I had an issue on my 2014 BMW 535i, were-as my antifreeze coolant tank n the hoses were finish and my guy William had it taken care of. within time for me to receive it, right after work. not to mention I brought it on my lunch break. If that’s not efficient I don’t know what is. Could not complain, also the care they took on my car, the beneficial information that made me see things clearer because of the issue that was happening. They showed me what customer service is. Words could not explain how appreciative I am on what he got done for me. You know how bmw’s are and his prices were extremely reasonable.
