I recently went to a new to me Precision Tune Auto Care store to have my truck battery replaced, as they carried the brand I needed and I had gotten the old battery at another store that is now out of business. The battery was still under a 42 free replacement warranty, with 7 months left on the warranty. At the new PTAC, I learned from the manager that I needed the invoice for them to honor the warranty. He helped me contact the corporate office, and within a short time I had an electronic copy of the needed invoice. I was only charged the installation fee, and left with a new battery for under $40! The manager was very helpful, and I would highly recommend doing business with this shop. AS 11/20/2024

I have brought 3 cars (Audi, Mercedes, Chevy) here recently for various reasons, and the crew here is always quick to diagnose and repair the issue. They are thorough in their investigation and explain everything clearly, and gather consent before starting work. They even saved me from costly quotes on unnecessary repairs from other shops. This place is awesome! Ken was super helpful and a really nice guy. They got me all sorted out and for WAY less than the other guys. I live in San Marcos and will be making the drive to Precision Tune every time I need to service my car.

When I first called Precision Tune they told me I could be seen straight away. They stayed true to their word. The process was quick and got started right away. My situation was that I was traveling and my car overheated. The attention to detail during diagnosis was excellent. They quoted me a time and a price and met both. I was underway and driving with confidence as fast as humanly possible. Professional, reliable, and cost effective are words I would use to describe this business. The kids were happy there as well with the TV (and some snacks that were provided) and there were plenty of various types of magazines to read. If I am ever in Austin, I will be visiting this establishment once again if I have need.

Ken was absolutely wonderful and trustworthy. I brought my car to Firestone and in 2 days of having the car said they found nothing wrong and made me feel crazy. Ken and his team were able to get my car in in before my warranty expired in 24 hours and identify the problem almost immediately. I no longer have to stress about why my car suddenly turns off while driving. Thank you to Ken and everyone there!

I’ve been going here for 12 years which is longer than the ppl who own it now have been there so atleast twice a yr I bring my car here and this last time I thought my insurance was in my apple wallet and to my surprise it was just my triple A roadside card so I apologized multiple times while trying to find my insurance then when I came back a few hrs later a piece of paper was taped to the door informing the dumb public to have their insurance ready before walking in due to the 3 mins I wasted of their time. Now if your like me a long time customer you know there’s one spot you don’t park in and it’s the spot by the door with all the bird poop under the tree by the door well guess where my car was cover in bird poop. Guess what I was told when I thought if I bring it up politely by saying pls don’t park my car there cause now there bird poop all over it. I was told well just remind me next time, as if ppl who work here don’t know birds poop all over that spot. Never again will I come here. Sad to my brother once worked here. I miss the old management. They would have atleast gave me wipes and water to clean it up. Sorry to of wasted your 3 mins looking for insurance.

Great customer service from start to finish. Being new to Austin I was not sure where to go. I’m glad I visited Precision Auto Care. The guys had great communication along with being friendly, they got me in and out much quicker than I anticipated . I will definitely be going back for all my maintenance needs. I recommend checking them out.

Great service! I’m glad I chose to come here to have my breaks changed. I considered going next door to Austin Automotive Specialists but after I talked to Jason from Precision, I felt most comfortable choosing them for the job. They had the job done fast and although the price was a little higher than I expected, they did a great job.

Brought my car here because it needed an engine. They put the engine in I have a burning oil smell but considering they forgot to put a bunch of bolts back in the vehicle before they finished it and returned it to me. I don't want to take my car back over there and get charged again for repairs that they didn't do a very good job on the I shouldn't have oil leaks on a brand new engine Especially since they charge me ten to twelve thousand dollars for it

I drive an old truck so I’ve dealt with my fair share of mechanics. Definitely the most pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful staff I have encountered. Everything has been great, from putting a new engine in to simple state inspections over the years. Highly recommend. And their front of house main man, Steve, is beyond helpful!
