Extremely helpful- my partner and I had problems with a 2 day drive home ahead of us and not only did they help us diagnose the problem with the car but sent us to where we could get help and let us and our doggo hang out in the lobby for a couple hours while calling and trying to figure out what our next move was, they were helpful, communicative, and clear- it was easy and they helped save us money.

If you want to over pay for everything you want done go here quoted 1,200 to fix a gasket that cost 87$ I have the work done in Florida about 2 years ago and it was 537$ and out the door. They did the repair in close to 2 hours. I won't ever take my car here and I suggest you shouldn't to. You wanna pay 2 weeks worth of pay checks for something that can be done less than a day.

2007 Honda Odyssey - went in to find out why my VSA light and oil light came on after putting 2 quarts of synthetic oil in the vehicle. Went to another mechanic who told me that the washer was missing on the drain plug. Went back to this Precision Tune and they changed my oil with a Honda filter that I supplied and after being a customer for approx. 20 years they charged me full price for an oil change (synthetic blend is all they use). and told me that there were other leaks that they could address. That was 20 years of service for four vehicles - I will never return. The new owners do not seem to care who is their customer base. I also complained to corporate because it was their mistake- no word yet it has been 3 months. I suggest anyone else.

This location has been my oil change location for quite a few years. Walked in today and truly should have walked out. One man at the counter never looked up and the other one had the personality of a rock....I had no idea at that time that the management had changed or I would have left. The price for a simple non-synthetic oil change was almost double from my last visit. And of course I "needed" several fluids that apparently are not part of the $55 dollar oil change, which I declined. Upsale attempts so be aware.... Because of helpful customers here on reviews, I have located the former management team and will take my future business back to the Covington family at their own location and business.

We are traveling from TX to NY and stopped in Knoxville to see family on the way. We got about an hour out and the wrench light on my dash came on & the cruise control stopped working. Not sure what was wrong, we looked up reviews and took the truck to Precision- they ran a diagnostic on it and went above and beyond to give us all the information we needed to be able to continue on our trip. They didn’t even try to upsell us even though we were in a vulnerable situation. A rare gem these days.

Used to be a 5 star, trustworthy and friendly place. New owners came and clearly only care about profit as they replaced the exceptional front staff and the last 2 times I've been for regular maintenance I've gotten the usual "upsale" pitch trying to get me to spend buckets of money on unnecessary things. Fortunately there's better places right down the street so I won't be coming back after being a loyal customer before.

They are nice people here, but can’t do an alignment. I purchased their Groupon for an alignment since my steering wheel was slightly off. After I left it was more off and crooked now. Just look at the pic. I’ll get another alignment to fix their alignment when I visit the dealership for my next oil change. They had to have seen this when they returned my jeep to me. I noticed it quickly after leaving, but when they can’t even do an alignment correctly and make the steering wheel more crooked, it makes me uncomfortable to return to them to try to straighten the alignment once again when they couldn’t do it correctly the first time.

DO NOT COME HERE! Went in today to get my car looked at, but the guy at the desk said their mechanic Danny that I have look at my car frequently was fired or quit, couldn't get a straight answer out of them. So I asked for one of the other guys that work there and he said they're all gone too! New staff was short and frankly rude. The prices are higher too! Won't be back.

Do NOT take your vehicle here. 1 hr easy alignment turned into a three hour issue with my battery being drained and the car still being out of alignment. Super fun as I had to have my two year old with me. Go ANY place other than this.

Don't take your car to precision tune! They will rip you off. I took my car in and had an oil leak checked. They said it was a Value Cover Gasket. They then quoted me a price of $381 dollars! I said no thank you and called around several other places. I ended up getting it fixed for $140!!! Folks thats $240 bucks lower than their rip off price! What is your value cover gasket made of? Gold Plated??? ALSO, they doubled the price of their oil change from just last year...It was around $25-30. Now its $50-$60!! They said everyone else was that, so they had to raise theirs! HOGWASH. Wal-Mart is still $34.99 for a basic oil change!!! Thats all I need. Why would I pay them $60? I would never take my car to them ever again!!!!!! My Car is 10 years old and uses basic oil not synthetic!! Dont use that as an excuse as to why you doubled your price. Just 6 months ago you were charging me 25 bucks for an oil change, now its 55!!!!! PEOPLE please avoid this terrible place. They are out to take your money.

I went to have my oil changed. A friend of mine had recommended it to me. She said the staff was friendly and did excellent work on her car. As a woman, I am fearful of being taken advantage of at auto shops. I noticed with all the men getting their oil changed, one of the mechanics would come in with their air filters to show them the state they were in. Asking if they want to get ahead and have them replaced or not. However, when it was my turn, the man at the desk informed me that both my engine air filter and cabin air filter were clogged. I had replaced my cabin air filter myself two weeks ago, so I knew something was off. I replaced the engine air filter not too long ago as well. I told him I could do it myself and asked for that service not to be done that day. I found it odd that they didn't bring in my air filters like they had with all the other customers. Probably, because they were not clogged. When I got home, I checked the air filters to be safe, and they were not very dirty at all. From what I can tell, the work they did replacing my drive belt and doing my oil change was well done. However, after that instance, I'm not sure how trustworthy they are. I am attaching photos of the cabin air filter they said was clogged.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. We’ve been going here for awhile before the new owners took over. They were the best people. They were friendly, helpful, affordable and they did great work. Now…I had to get work done and spent over $1100 and had to bring my car back 4 times bc they couldn’t do it right. Then when my car overheated, the owner came and drove my car back to the shop…overheated. This time I brought my car in today bc the antifreeze was leaking somewhere and the last time we went there they were working on the coolant and oil. My husband who know about cars, told the mechanic the overflow hose isn’t there. He said it doesn’t need one. Okay? When we got home, my husband looked at the engine and saw they didn’t put the engine cover back on. We call and they said oops…can you come in so we can put it on? First of all…our car is leaking antifreeze and you want us to drive it back? These guys have no clue what they’re doing. We found the old mechanics new business and we will go there. People were taken care of there…they treated us like family. When I called to make sure they were the same people, he remembered us. That’s how a business should be ran. I will never take my car here again. I will be bringing my business to Covington family car care in oak ridge!!!

Once again I came in for a oil change and left with a bigger smile then I came in with. Nathan took care of me and my coupon for the oil change. As of now I am up to four vehicles I have brought here, some multiple times as I do a lot of traveling. Today I overheard the owner working with a customer on the phone and was very impressed. While waiting I also heard multiple interactions with customers by Nathan, all courteous, polite, and very professional. Update, took our Dodge back in after a code came up. Got it diagnosed and fixed here. 16 new plugs while she waited. And its no joke what a rats nest it is under that hood. Literally. Considering it was while she waited drive in we didn't even have a coupon of any sort this time around still was what I consider a fair price over all and done well. Now to get one of the cars in for my air service groupon and a oil change. 8/22/23 they got me in for my air service, its blowing cold again, which isnt bad considering its a 2007 with 46k miles.
