Follow-Up on Nov 19 I’ve spent about $10k last and this year at this auto shop. While they were friendly at first, my experience has been disappointing and frustrating. My car had serious issues, and I initially relied on this shop due to its proximity. Unfortunately, the problems with my car kept recurring. For instance, they charged me thousands of dollars to fix an oil leakage issue, but the same problem resurfaced just weeks later. Each time they claimed to have resolved an issue, minor problems would crop up soon after, requiring additional visits. Over time, I began to lose trust in their services. Recently, I decided to visit an auto shop in Mountain View, where I used to go years ago. They provided a much more reasonable and transparent assessment, revealing that this shop had likely overcharged and possibly misled me multiple times. To make matters worse, when I tried to contact this shop to address these concerns, my texts and calls went unanswered. Advice: Please be cautious when seeking service here. Always get your car inspected and obtain quotes from other shops to avoid the kind of experience I had. I’ve learned my lesson the hard way. To the shop: I’m asking you to take accountability for the repeated issues with my car, the overcharges, and the lack of communication. I believe I deserve a partial reimbursement for the unnecessary repairs and recurring problems. Please respond to my texts or calls and address this matter promptly. If I don’t hear from you soon, I will have no choice but to pursue legal action.

He was very nice and kind and convincing. I spent a ton of money to fix my car along with my warranty company. Went to him on 3 separate occasions. So he sucked over $25K maybe $30K or more out of us combined. The last time he said it needed an engine when he knew it needed one to begin with but he wanted to suck as much money out of us as possible obviously. He made so many promises that my car would run for years to come when he was done putting the engine in. Well my car drives horrible if at all. My husband and myself have tried to call him and my husband left messages and he will not respond or answer. He sent a mass text to his database requesting people come have work done and i responded. He didn’t even reply. My car is trash now. He talks a very good game DONT TRUST HIM. I’ve almost gotten hit because of my car almost choking in the middle of an intersection. I’ve been stuck in front of the kids school and in the middle of a street. He won’t answer his phone. I live out of town or I would just go over there. So I have tried calling and no answer or return call.

This was the worst shop I have been too!! They pretty much scammed me. I went in because my car was making noise, it was supposedly the left shaft that needed to be replaced. The mechanic told me to go home while he fixed it. It was a mistake. Once he supposedly fixed it, it was still making noise. I called to let him know, he had the nerve to say I need to get both sides changed. I took it to a few mechanic shop and my predictions were right. They did not change my parts and they charged me for new parts. I do want take a step in to getting my money back by any means necessary. If you are a woman stay away from this place!

Huge thanks to Ali at Preferred Auto for his hard work and expertise. After weeks of dealing with an ongoing issue with my vehicle, I finally decided to pay a visit to Preferred Auto and they were able to resolve the problem once and for all. Their prices are fair and they know what they are doing. Will definitely be back to give them more business. Thanks again fellas. P.s will say that Fernando //who is answering the phone could do a better job of picking up and returning calls.

I had to spend more than I wanted but the work on my SMART car was extensive and repairs were necessary to continue driving my favorite car. I brought it in late in the day and took it home 24 hours later. I was provided pictures of the engine and brakes along with a detailed explanation for the issues and repair. It now drives like it always has, perfectly.

We needed a new transmission called around and got the best price and service from Preferred Auto Repair! They called gmc and made sure I had every part I needed to get the 3year 100,000 mile warranty. GMC themselves would charge nearly 7k for the job I paid less with this shop. Everything was done in a timely manner with great communication. Thank you !

BEST AUTO REPAIR AND WONDERFUL STAFF ESPECIALLY JOAQUIN! booked an appointment supposedly just for my brake pads, but before my appointment my car won't start, I got a text from Fernando that they are ready for my appointment but I told him that my car wasn't starting and he offered to send a mechanic to get it started for me. they did my brake pads and suggested to change my brake fluids (that hasn't been changed for the past 10 years) and battery as well. they did it fast and professionally!! the price was reasonable, too. and as a person who doesn't know anything about cars, I haven't change my windshield wipers since I got it, Joaquin also took care of it and changed it for me for free. (I really appreciate it) they don't just do their work, they go above and beyond to really make sure you're safe on the road after they fixed your car. highly highly recommended!

Brought my Subaru in to have some new headlights installed and a general inspection. Fernando texted me with photos of some issues he recommended be addressed, and i agreed to have the additional work done. (After all, the car has 110K miles and not much work had been done prior other than routine maintenance) The car was ready the next day. It was a sizeable amount of work and I’m impressed with how quickly parts were acquired. Great communication throughout the repair process.

Fernando has taken care of maintenance on my cars when I didn't have time to work on my own cars. Transmission fluid flush (3x on 3 different vehicles), brake pad replacement (1 car), and engine mount replacement (1 car). Top notch service and i would recommend Fernando to be trusted with any car brought into him.
