I originally took my Ram 1500 to another shop, thinking I had a cracked CV boot on the front axle. They inspected it and told me nothing was wrong, but I was skeptical. There was a significant amount of grease accumulating in the wheel well, so I decided to dig a bit deeper myself. After confirming the crack in the boot, I reached out to a friend who works for Snap-On to recommend a reliable mechanic. Without hesitation, he said, 'Take it to Andre at Prestige Auto Works.' I called Prestige, and they got me in the same day to drop off the truck. They diagnosed the issue correctly and ordered the part immediately. In less than 24 hours, my truck was back in service—and at about half the cost of what the dealership quoted. The entire process was seamless, with regular status updates and even follow-up check-ins to make sure everything was perfect. The team at Prestige Auto Works genuinely knows their stuff, and they’ve absolutely earned my business from here on out

This shop is always busy anytime I bring in my car, but I see that as a good sign for a mechanic shop. The staff is good at communicating the work that needs to get done and they complete the work within an expected amount of time. I’ve been happy with the work this shop has done on my vehicle.

Yes, they took the time to make sure my parts where good before applying them to my vehicle.... it took awhile for my parts to arrive however they are great calling and informing you the process. They are pretty good. I will Give them a try. Thank you

I needed a place to get my car serviced now that my dealership service plan was expired. The dealership quoted me a price for my 60K mile service that seemed high to me, so I looked around for a family owned business that I could support. Prestige not only was more reasonably priced, the customer support was excellent, great communication, and friendly staff. They didn’t try to upsell me on anything I didn’t need and I feel confident my car was taken care of professionally. I loved the detailed report with pictures they provided me. I found my new service shop!

The best experience I ever have at Prestige Auto Works. Stephanie, she’s the service manager in this auto shop, she’s awesome. They took care of my car with excellent service and made me so happy. If you have problems with your car, this is the right and best place to go. It’s highly recommended . I am so happy that I finally found a place for my cars to be taken care of. I have been taking our vehicles to Prestige for the last 5 years and always have a positive experience. Andre and his team are down to Earth, honest, and very reliable. They diagnose quickly and provide a great write up with pictures of what needs fixing. We won't take our cars anywhere else! Both Stephanie and Ramses will take great care of you!

I have taken my cars to get their Prestige checkup done for the last few months. I have the cars on Turo which adds some urgency to the repairs. All my expectations have been exceeded by their attention to detail and to customer service. It is nice to have an option for my Tesla other than Tesla itself. I can't remember the last time I was as enthusiastic about writing a review for a business as I am about writing this one. I brought my 2015 Honda CR-V in w/ a performance issue that the dealer was unable to find after three separate attempts. I left the car overnight w/ Andre at Prestige and in the morning, he had the problem solved. The drive to South Sacramento from Arden Town is a very small price to pay for the all around outstanding service received from Andre and Stephanie.

Absolutely wonderful automotive repair shop! Very thorough inspection of my car, that included pictures, fair pricing, excellent communication and wonderful staff. Mechanics placed paper mats over my carpeting, for cleanliness and my car is running perfectly now. I would recommend Prestige Auto Works to friends and family. A+++++++ Service. A cut above the rest.

This place did an excellent job repairing my car. Had a bad axel and my car had a really bad rumbling problem. But brought it in and Frank and his team were able to fix it up like new. Really good people who are welcoming, give detailed feedback, and will work with you closely within your means. Highly recommend these guys!

I looked at all the reviews before I made a decision to trust there work. I talked to Stephanie, I told her if she treated my car right with quality parts and professional work and under price of what car dealership cost. You will have me as a loyal customer. I love it that they gave me texted pictures of what the problem was and memos as well. I don't mind giving good recommendations but if there is a problem, I don't mind stating them.

I’m always a little particular skeptical about my car and mechanics and after working with a few other businesses, I’m so happy I found Prestige. I’ve been taking my car here for almost 2 years now and they have taken great care of me, prices are reasonable, and most importantly I never have to second guess their recommendations for work. They really do have my car, and my wallets best interest. Can’t recommend them enough!

Highly recommend Prestige Auto Works for your auto repair needs. I’ve brought in my Mercedes Benz a few times now & every time I’ve received great service. Service Manager Stephanie is friendly, professional & stays in communication on the status of your vehicle. She will take the time to thoroughly explain what’s wrong with your vehicle and go over costs as well as emailing you an easy to understand invoice. The technicians seem very knowledgeable and although I don’t get to talk to them, I want to give a huge shout-out to them for all the hard work they do! Andre has always been great at explaining & going over the invoice and charges again before you pay. Just recently had my daughter bring in her Chrysler 300 for repairs and again, great service! I truly trust them with my vehicle repairs. Thank you guys and keep up the excellent work!

I'm blanking her name but, the woman who works the front desk is always very kind and her customer service is fantastic!

Their pricing is decently cheaper than most repairshops and they offer variety of repair/ car maintenance services here in South Sacramento. I would recommend this because of its service, commitment, and very good and wide location. No hustles.

This place is over priced and has shady business practices. Quoted me one price over the phone, tried to charge me $300 more when I came to pay in the shop and then charged me $100 more than what they quoted me over the phone. They also aggressively upsell you on other repairs you don’t need.

I own Muffler Tech and we often need help outside of our specialty’s in repair. Prestige Autoworks has been invaluable in many areas for us including alignment, electrical repairs, specific suspension problems, and ECU replacement for cars that have had stolen catalytic converters. I highly recommend them!

Prestige has been the only choice of auto care for me since 2007 when they were off of Fruit Ridge. Andre and Stephanie have always been friendly, as well as most importantly knowledgeable about my automobiles over the years. They kept my car in peak condition after having it for 15 years. If it weren’t for an accident I would probably still be driving it as a second vehicle to this day. Due to the loss of that car I purchased a used 2012 RAV4 in 2015. At the time of purchase it had a little over 40,000 miles. It now has over 100,000 miles and I have never been concerned about trusting it on the road. I know I can trust on its performance as my only vehicle from one end of California to the next. Lastly, as a woman needing an auto repair shop know you can trust in Prestige to live up to their name. You will receive excellent service at a fair price, which is priceless.

Don’t waste your money and time with Prestige. I took my 2004 Toyota 4Runner into Prestige for AC work on 8/31/2021. They diagnosed the AC and charged me for a Blower Motor, A/C Blower Control Unit, Diagnostics, A/C Compressor Drive Belt replacement, and labor coming out to $917.42 before taxes. The following year, the AC was not working again during the summer but due to money issues, I was not able to take the car in until October. I took the car back in and on 10/24/2022, they diagnosed the AC and charged me for an AC condenser plus diagnostics coming out to $639.48 before taxes. I had not used the AC unit since it was not hot during the fall/winter. The following year the AC was not working again (First time trying the AC since the repairs), and I took the car back in on 4/27/2023. They replaced the AC compressor, Hoses, plus diagnostics coming out to $1,287.68 before taxes. I tried using the AC two weeks ago and it was not working again. I took the car back in on 1/9/2024 and they diagnosed the car with a bad AC Evaporator with an estimate over $2,000. I asked for any discounts for a fourth diagnostic but was not given any. I again paid for the diagnostic ($195) but did not have $2,000 so I could not get the work done. At this time, I am very upset with Prestige. How can you charge a customer for four AC diagnostics? In addition, the representative that helped me last year assured me that I basically have a brand-new AC system that should last me for several years. When I questioned the representative that helped me on 1/9/2024, he explained that “you have a 20-year-old car. Things will keep breaking.” Um no, had you completed a THOROUGH diagnostic the first or even second time then I would not have to keep paying for diagnostic inspection fees, Freon, and Freon recharge. The lady next to him explained that “well we did not want to replace the entire AC unit and give you a quote for $5,000.” Okay, so instead you fixed what you THOUGHT would be the issue. That way the AC would continue break down and I would return again to be charged for additional diagnostic and labor. Not once, not twice, not even three times but now four times. Way to con a customer into returning. Prestige took advantage of me to make money and I cannot believe I trusted them year and year again. I fell for the old mechanics con and learned my lesson with Prestige. Edit to the business response: This 20 year old vehicle is more reliable than most newer vehicles. The issue is not the vehicle as it drives amazing. The issue here is how your shop scammed me over and over again to make money off me by fixing one part of the AC system at a time in order to charge me additional diagnostic fees, labor, and freon for each visit. I got a second opinion. Looks like you were purposely chasing the ac unit to have it continuously break down so that I would end up bringing it back to your shop for a bogus "warranty" replacing every part of the AC assembly. Horrible business practice.
