It’s unfortunate that I need to highlight that a shop conducts its business ethically. But in addition to my shout out that Priors can be trusted (whereas at least one other formerly reputable SC tire shop cannot), Priors staff is warm and friendly, they diagnose problem accurately and honestly, charge fairly, the waiting room is actually comfortable. I don’t write many reviews, but I like to support upstanding businesses. Excellent experience. Thanks, John!

2 Angels in the form of human men saved me ! I had a rental Toyota 4 runner with tire lights on and had to get on the 17 to San Jose! They took my car right in and within 30 minutes I had it back. They said all the tires were low (Thanks Budget). No charge! As an 80 year old woman on the road that was such a gift. Thank you Priors Tires

Absolutely amazing!!! Came here after being recommend by Glen’s Auto Repair and they replaced all four of my tires in 45 minutes!!!! They have a comfortable waiting room even equipped with drinks, a bathroom and phone charging station! 100000/10 will be coming here again for tire needs and will recommend to all friends and family!

I was ready to go to the place I've gone since Holser's closed down and Kim at AAMCO gave me Priors Tires Card. I trust her 100% and thought I'd give them a try...I called and John who pretty much does everything there and he quoted the 2 tires I needed and they were almost 100.00 less than the other place so of course I ordered them. My tires were there the next morning . It being New Years Eve I figured I'd have to wait but I got there and withing 40min. I drove away with 2 new Michelins for my 99 Yukon..I will be sticking with Priors Tires from now on..I hope if the owner see this, he acknowledges the great ,fast ,personable and professional employees he has..And, the couch was so comfy while I waited. I highly recommend Priors Tires..Thanks everyone at Priors Tires..Happy New Year.. Trina

This is hands down the best place to get your tires changed. John offered me a price $200 cheaper for the specific tires I wanted compared to 4 of the other dealers I called. He took the time to walk me through the pros and cons of tire choices and was not pushy at all. My tires were changed in less than an hour and the waiting space was comfortable and inviting. Honest and friendly, the entire experience from start to finish was a genuine pleasure. Can’t recommend them enough.

These guys fixed my tractor tire fast and Affordable! They are super professional and easy to find. Easy to reach by phone. Clean and nice little waiting area for people! Will back But hopefully not TOO soon. Thank You!

We were on a road trip and got a low tire pressure warning in our car. We went to Costco to fill it up and happened to pass Priors on the way. After filling up the tire at Costco, I heard hissing so gave Priors a call. They told us to come right in, and 2 minutes later we were there. They were friendly, efficient, and fixed the tire at a very reasonable price. We were back on the road in no time, great shop, I'm glad we happened to stumble on them, would recommend to anyone.

Prior tires is our new go to tire dealer. Service is outstanding. John at front desk takes care of his patrons! Went in for a tire flat. They fixes it in a timely manner and I was on the road again. Previously used Prior for new set of tires. They had great prices and delivered on time as promised. Prior Tires has earned my trust!

Onsite house call on 9 ton tractor tire. Repair done fast, technician was well equipped and experienced. Removed the huge wheel, removed the tire, cleaned it thoroughly, performed interior patch and put it all back together. Very reasonable cost. I’m feeling like I have tire insurance on my tractor tires with these guys on call. 👍🏼

These folks are a real "find". Fast, efficient, economical and respectful of the client and of his or her car and its contents. Professional staff who are a real pleasure to work with. Quite a contrast to some of the other larger tires stores in Santa Cruz. My wife and I recommend this place to anyone needing the services Priors provides.

Update: Priors is my Heavy Duty Truck place in Santa Cruz county now. After a spotless simulator replacement and brake job following a tire rotation and some tag axle tires, I'm driving as well as I look now. Gabriel was super patient, informative, and busted his behind in the sun and broke a sweat like an adult to do it right promptly. Clean, efficient operation, fair prices, and outstanding customer service and support. The last of the Mohicans! ... Original: Honest straight shooter, does 19.5s, and speaks English! Looking forward to working with you Sir!

May be as well the best tire shop I ever went to - they did a great job flipping, balancing and rotating my Sprinter's big tires, all done quickly and with graceful attitude, for a totally reasonable fee. I'll definitely go there again for any tire work!

Affordable, honest, and fast. I Had a flat due to a screw in the tire. Brought it to the dealership for a patch and they gave a bunch of reasons why they couldn't patch it and said they could only get a new tire. Our company uses Prior's for our fleet vehicles and I once had tire patched on my work truck. So I called John to see if he could help and he got us in within an hour and patched it in about 15minutes. Only $20! Saved us about $250 on the dealer's unnecessary new tire. Thankful for these guys.

Priors is a great place to have tires mounted and balanced. They were able to order and install the tires I wanted the same day. Unreal turnaround. Great local family owned and operated business. Had me in and out of the shop in about 30 minutes.

Ran over a staple on the way in from Berkeley, TPMS activating off and on. Brought it into Priors on a Saturday morning, they had me cruising again in less than 15 mins. Apparently it was superficial but they dunked the tire to check and didn’t charge me a dime. Checked my spare too just in case. They even offered snacks and drinks for the road! Travis and the team were awesome. Thanks y’all!!

Disappointed. Went looking for good used or inexpensive new tires. Was quoted $185 each mounted. Way more expensive than other places. Then was told maybe cash price would be lower. Said I was willing to pay cash but the boss wasn't around to negotiate so I left. Did I get it wrong? I thought it was called Priors because they sold tires that were used. Huh. Bad experience overall. Was really surprised. Was trying to shop local. Ended up ordering online.

Shoutout to Priors Tires - had a slow leak from a roofing nail in one of my tires - drove over to Priors and they got the jack under the car before I had stepped 5 feet away from it. Did a proper patch on it in minutes and had me back on the road. Even filled up the spare which would have been completely useless otherwise. Very reasonable price too. I'll be going there for tires when the treads on this set are worn.

The Absolute Best place to get tires and service. Price was as good or better than even the box stores, and the customer service and treatment is above and beyond. Keep your money local at the best shop in town. And I almost forgot to mention: you won't be waiting around all day. I recommend Priors to Everyone: friends, family, and You looking at this google review. I will not go anywhere else.
