I brought my car to them due to my check engine light coming on. They got me in within 48 hours. They gave my vehicle a thorough inspection and texted me a very detailed estimate in addition to calling me and going over everything. They are very quick and have excellent communication! Really great place to bring your vehicle!

They were very nice and informative with competitive prices. Will be using them again for any other automotive issues I have.I only needed an oil change but they gave me a detailed list of items that I would need to have done with price estimates for them to complete the needed service.

This is my go to shop when I’m looking for first class service. These guys have figured out what it takes to keep customers coming back. Very knowledgeable on all makes and models. Pricing is fair and turnaround time in most cases is same day. This is one of the first independent shops in town that I know of that has their own fleet of brand new loaner vehicles.

I have coming to ProAuto care for all of our cars needs for over 10 years. I trust the team at Pro auto care to do quality work, fair prices and reliable service. The one time we had a job that was not within their expertise they referred me to where I needed to go to get the work done (this was a major issue). This made me trust them even more because I knew they weren’t going to try to fix some thing that they didn’t feel comfortable with. They have handled everything else for our three cars over the years.

So, I don’t want this review to come off as condemning of the business as a whole, because it may be an honest mistake or misunderstanding. The staff is friendly and helpful, and I have zero complaints in that area. That being said, I do want to share my experience because it was strange. As I was at a stoplight, my car overheated and coolant spilled out all over the road. I called a tow and took my car to Pro Auto because they were recommended to me and I saw they had hundreds of five-star reviews, so it seemed like a good shop. Upon arriving, I told them what happened and asked if they could have my car finished by Friday (it was Tuesday) because I needed to drive out of state this weekend, and they said they would try their best to finish it, which I appreciated. Finley gave me a courtesy call on Wednesday saying they couldn't get to it that day but would definitely look at it Thursday, and I appreciate that there was steady communication. I received a call Thursday saying my radiator had basically busted open and that I needed a new one, as well coolant hoses, the thermostat, etc., which made sense to me considering what happened. The issue was when they told me it was going to be $1500. I’ve never heard of a radiator replacement costing $1500, even with the hoses and thermostat included. The photo of the quote says $1,299.03, but there were actually more charges at the bottom that totaled $1547 and some change. I was told that if I confirmed my job right then and there, that they could expedite the parts and have my car ready by Friday. I was confused about the “expedited” parts because radiators are standard and don’t need to be expedited. Anyone can get one within an hour. I felt like they were pressuring me to confirm an overpriced job in order to get my car in time to leave the city over the weekend. Due to the high price, I asked for an itemized quote and photos of the damage. They sent both of these documents to me in two separate links. The damage photos also included a report of other items they suggest I get replaced, including my water pump and timing belt. I asked if there was anything wrong with those and they said no, they just thought I should replace them because my car was over 100,000 miles. I sent the quote and damage links to another shop that a coworker recommended, and they said they could replace the radiator, coolant, thermostat, and hoses for less than $600, which sounded more accurate. I had my car towed to the other shop. Once my car was safely at the other shop, I checked the quote link again out of curiosity, and everything was removed except a blurb at the bottom that said I declined having my radiator and thermostat replaced for a total of $597.84. The report was entirely different than what I had actually declined. Not only that, but I was told the diagnostics fee was $188, and this new quote listed the diagnostic as $94. After taking my car to the other shop, it became apparent that I was being told I needed to replace parts of my car that were in perfectly fine working condition. My radiator and coolant were replaced for $535, and everything else was fine. Again, I am not saying anyone was trying to deliberately pull the wool over my eyes or make a quick buck before Christmas, although that isn’t beyond what people do sometimes. I might be mistaken and this was all just misquoted accidentally, but so far my experience leads me to believe that Pro Auto is the Tom Drexler of cars.

Very professional staff. Got to chat with the owner for a few minutes. The shop was clean and well organized which in my mind sets the stage for good quality workmanship. Going forward I will used this shop for all of my auto maintenance and repair needs.
