Talk about a lifesaver! After being turned away by another "highly recommended" shop in town, I stumbled upon Pro Toy in Knoxville and couldn't be more grateful. When I walked in feeling defeated with my DIY project, Alan immediately jumped into action with the kind of customer service you rarely see anymore. What really stands out is how they treated my small problem with the same importance as any other job. While another shop couldn't be bothered, Alan had me fixed up in minutes - literally MINUTES! His expertise and willingness to help saved me countless hours of frustration and probably a few choice words too. The level of genuine care and professionalism at Pro Toy is exactly what you hope for but rarely find these days. No upselling, no unnecessary complications - just straight-up honest service. I used Pro Toy for some extensive repairs. After using them on another vehicle, I wrongly assumed that they would be competent to perform the repairs. After paying a very large invoice that was in the thousands, I took delivery. One day later I had to have it towed back to them to correct a very expensive mistake made by their tech. Weeks later when I finally got the vehicle back, I was off and running. One year later I am going behind them myself doing some brake work and I discovered that much of what I payed for was not performed per the invoice. It’s painfully clear the technician reassembled some front end components completely wrong as well. Extremely disappointing. Consider yourself warned.

This will be the place I bring my Prius any time I need service from now on! A local Toyota dealership recommended service totaling $6000. A friend recommended Pro Toy, who was unable to find anything to support the recommendation and I left with my car running smoothly for a reasonable price. Nothing but honesty in their approach to diagnosis and service.

5 stars is simply not enough!!! I work at a dealership and have had some really interesting experiences at service shops lately... interestingly bad. These gentlemen at Pro Toy were so much different and totally surpassed expectations. They were SO KIND and knowledgeable. Pricing can not be beat. They were friendly and informative and told me all of my options for my service needing done. They had my car finished in under 3 hours for 2 different items. They even drove to my office after I forgot to give them my wheel lock, which they needed. If you have a Toyota or Lexus product and have gone ANYWHERE else, you should just go ahead and switch over to make them your full time service tech. THANK YOU!

One of the most professional and honest people I’ve dealt with in a long time. Brought my daughter’s car in to get it looked at. They couldn’t find anything wrong and just told us to have a good day. In this day and age you don’t find people that have integrity like that we fully expected to pay an hourly fee to have it looked at ProTOY wil have all of my business moving forward. Thank you for having patience with a nervous 18-year-old who’s never been in a mechanic shop in her life.

These are great people! Toyotas aren’t exactly cheap to work on so this is a great dealership alternative. They know Lexus and Toyotas well so this is the place to go if you’ve got one.

they took care of my problem. they do tell you there is a minimum up front. they are not the cheapest but you do pay for what you get. they have been in business for a while and that's why I took my Honda to then. they do other cars other than just to toyotas too.... especially Japanese

Excellent work with fantastic customer service! I brought my truck in for some preventive maintenance work. They quoted me a price and actually came in under that price! And on top of that. I had kidney stones the day that I was supposed to pick up my truck and had to go to the ER. I called them and let them know that I might be a little bit late picking it up. When I got there, they were all genuinely interested in how I was doing and how I was feeling. Seemed to be good Christian guys too. If you're a Toyota person, go to Pro Toy!

Great shop, helping me keep my GX 470 on the road as the miles keep going. Mainly works on Honda/Acura and Toyota/Lexus vehicles. Very knowledgeable, professional, and fairly quick and fair priced. Usually able to get an appointment within a week or so, and have a nice waiting area.

I have been constantly getting finessed by dealers or shops in the past always pushing the date or just straight up having me pay more. Here was my scenario - my 98 gs400 was due for a timing belt and water pump job so I took it to my local Toyota lexus shop and they kept pushing me back months, I had no other choice but to take it to the dealer since I had no time left before my long trip. They did a good job except for the fact that they didn't check my cam seals, crank seal, tensioners, or thermostat. 6k miles later my cam seals, crank seal, and thermostat all go out at once. If anyone knows these motors it's mostly the labor that costs more during a job and that makes sense, but what got to me is that I have to pay a timing job labor again just to change those seals, luckily I had PRO TOY in Knoxville thoroughly inspect my car and change everything that was needed in that region. My car runs smooth with no issues and I communicated with Barry the whole time with email. I highly recommend this shop because they got my car in and out quickly and my car feels smoother than ever, which indicates the person who worked on my car put the camshafts back correctly and ensured timing was correct. To top it off, a week later my car was at the Knoxville strip running passes back to back without any issues. Quality work, great timing, and overall excellent shop.

I would not recommend this shop 4 week ago I dropped my car off to get my brakes ABS light fix they put all new parts on my car drove it for about 5 hour all my light are back on i pay them $4180.28 to fix it.Lexus LS460 to get fix they did not fix my car.

Took my 2007 Camry in for a rough noise when accelerating. After several days they said I needed new motor mounts. They changed them and I when I started the car it was still making the same engine noise. Neil told me to bring it back the next day as they didn’t have a loaner car for me to use right then. I drive back the next morning from South Knoxville and Neil told me they didn’t have the loaner car. That was a Thursday. He told me to come back on Tuesday, 11/1 and they would have one for me to use. Before I left I also had Neil listen to the car to confirm the noise I was wanting repaired. Went back on Tuesday. Left my car. Called a couple of times during the day and left messages. Barry called me late and said my car was low on oil and needed an oil change. That that would PROBABLY take care of the problem. I told him I didn’t think that was the issue. And what would be the next step if it didn’t fix the car. He said oh well with your car having so many miles you’re just best to drive it till it quits running. (My car does have 360,000 miles, but the engine was rebuilt by Toyota under a recall at 192,000miles) I said, so essentially you don’t care about locating and repairing the issue. And he was very rude and just told me I needed to return their loaner car…that they had another customer who needed it. When I picked my car up it was still making the same original noise. So almost $1,000 later my car is still not fixed. In response to the owner saying he did care…I would say your initial response certainly showed you in fact didn’t care. I asked if you checked the water pump, compressor, etc and you told me to just drive it till it quit running.
